Very unprofessional. Came to give us a quote and charged for survey to be done to do necessary calculations for heat source pump. Proved a complicated job and despite numerous attempts to contact them have heard nothing and have not received either money back for survey (which we were promised if job didn't go ahead) or the heat loss survey itself. I would not recommend this company to anyone and am very disappointed in the service (or lack of) provided. They talk a good talk but do not follow it up with anything concrete.

I have had the heat source pump just over a year. I am still waiting for them to come and finish the work. Cant contact them now and just phoned and it goes to an answer phone.
Total rubbish company and all the reviews seem to be the same. Think I have been mis sold as now cant get any emergency insurer to cover me

Had the heat pump fitted over 2 and a half days the next day no heating or hot water , rang them and they sent another fitter out (George) who was fantastic he told us 2 pumps had burnt out due to the first fitters not bleeding air out of the system he also told us it’s plumbed in wrong and wired wrong and a pump missing he spent all afternoon rewiring it and at the end of the day we had hot water and heating but only heating upstairs he said there was another days work and he would email them with what was needed we have rang and left messages and no response , it’s been 3 week now and nothing from them , have they gone bust ? We haven’t paid a penny yet

I have been trying to contact you to obtain my warranty paperwork which I still haven’t received after 2 years! I’m still waiting for the service and for the ongoing noise issue to be resolved.

Ongoing issues but no response to emails or phone calls so I went to their office today. Doors locked and no sign of anyone there. Looks to me like they’ve gone bust.

Yet again I have to resort to trustpilot to get anything done ihav been waiting since August the 10th for my annual service been fobbed off many times including two no shows ln Feb last time they e mailed and their new contractor would contact within the week that was Feb20th guess what no contactsurprise when we ring you all I get is message and nobody rings back this is not the first time I have had a problem had to wait over a year for a minor problem with the controller to be fixed

The worst company I have even had the misfortune of dealing with, avoid at all costs! Do not believe the 'recent' positive reviews which are from installations dated over a year ago an obvious attempt to cover up a host of negative reviews.

They installed an 12kw Samsung air source heat pump and 6 new radiators into our property in January 2024 and we have had nothing but issues since. The system was not safe to use! The company did not complete any of the legally required electrical tests and cannot provide an electrical test certificate even after asking for over a month. 1 week after installation the system stopped working. After a big fight to get someone out to our property (whilst it was -2 outside with 2 young children) it was found that a wire was incorrectly fitted within the air source heat pump which caused the wire to arc and melt in place. Something that should have been picked up with an electrical test and could have caused a lot of damage to our property.

Not only was the electrical safety of the system called into question but the actual efficiency of the system was far below what was promised by the sales man and within the system design sent across. Don't believe the hype, you will end up paying more for a house which will be colder. We went from paying £8-£10 a day heating the house to paying £20+ with the heat pump.

Something I have also seen in many other reviews is around the quality of the workmanship, they left holes in walls, plaster missing, burnt coving due to soldering pipes in place, fitted trunking that was too small, didn't attach trunking to walls and didn't even insulate one of the main pipes going into the heat pump!

I have been fighting with them for over a month since I raised a formal complaint against them and we are at the stage now where they do not respond to email and actively dodge our calls. We have had to result to go to the MCS & HIES to try and get a resolution.

Cylinder is noisy, damages after installation, loss of pressure after few weeks. Chasing them from 2 years, nothing effectively done.

Terrible:
- failed to execute their job
- never fully refunded our money, eventhough it wasn’t cancelled due to us
- poor customer service

I have tried ringing & emailing this company many times over the past seven days. I have highlighted a problem with our heating system that this company has installed and they have not responded and I am unable to contact them. Not a good company to deal with. I suggest you find a better company.

On 5th March 2023, Greener Living installed an air sourced heat pump into my home. I had read some of the negative comments, so I was very surprised to find how polite and professional they actually were, taking care not too damage you floor and carpets and explaining everything they were doing. I had the Mitsubishi 6Kw heat pump fitted and I am very happy with the quality of the installation and equipment. If there was one thing that impressed both myself and my wife, was the level communications. We were always kept in the loop as to what was happening, with regular phone calls to ensure that we were happy with everything. I would be happy to recommend Greener living anytime.

I’ve been with Greener Living for over a year now, and it’s not been a pleasant experience. You will see my past reviews to get a flavour. This review is in regards to logging 2 issues around about a month ago, one is a safety issue and the other is a health issue posed by problems or faults that have since come about. These are serious concerns yet the communication for GL has been sparse and I have been told their other customers have more urgent needs. I don’t disagree that there might be more needy than me, but the time taken and lack of communication is unacceptable. Greener Living, how you are still operating is beyond me?

Limited knowledge about my heat pump. When it stopped working they said to download the software again. That's the level of support.. Still not working weeks later. Contract terminated

Very sociable and efficient operatives. Only 4 stars though as a couple of minor mistakes made.

Stephen came to service my heat pump. He was thorough and professional.

Had George come out and give us a no-obligation survey, very laid-back survey didn't feel any pressure to install. decided to go ahead with the installation and are very happy with the finished project. Was installed in under a month of survey. The installer was very productive and helpful with all enquiries I had.

I was promised a 2 to 3 week installation in September 2022 and they started work in September 2022 and it's January 2024 and it's still not finished 16+ months later.

I've been through HIES, MCS, Ombudsman and now NAPIT.

NAPIT's report on Greener Living states
"The installation is of a poor standard as evidenced by the number of non-conformities relating to MIS 3002 and observations listed above. "

Greener Living's complaints procedure is a telephone call and that's it ... nothing in writing and when they don't do what they said they would they then deny saying what they said.

They sub-contract all the work and the sub-contractors usually leave before testing what they've done only for the next contractors to undo what the previous contractor did.

My kitchen ceiling collapsed due to rain water entering through the damage their sub contractors did to my roof - it took 3 months before they URGENTLY sent someone to fix my ceiling and 10+ months to repair all the broken tiles on my roof.

Poor problem response time.
Reported a problem 8 weeks ago. The air source heat pump system installed 4 years ago developed a problem where it’s using more power than its outputting. Despite phoning several times and being on their ‘diamond service plan’ and several emails, there still no date in site as to when an engineer will appear to try and fix the issue. They claim to be the number 1 installer, but their service is next to useless unless it’s an easy fix! They obviously lack trained engineers..

Awful experience.
Salesmen said would be boxed in and ‘look nice’- turns out they never do that and had to fight to have awful holes and pipes covered up.
3 salesmen measured cupboard for cylinder and failed to realise too small.
Only 6 of the 7 quoted radiators installed.
Day/s of install utter chaos with everyone blaming everyone else.
Never took the deposit off the final finance price as promised.
Spilt stinking liquid all over carpet and left like that.
Left radiator leaking all over floor upstairs.
3 nights with no heating and hot water for older couple in Winter.
Extremely loud system- wakes you ip at night.
Chased for signing finance agreement with threat of legal action even though not satisfied.
“Compensation” money still being waited for 3 weeks after signing.
Radio silence from customer services once they have their money coming in.
What a shame as were so excited for finally having a warm house for my parents.

Started well with a willingness to provide a good service and experience. Installation team were good and engaging. Excellent turn up on the first day and good progress but this started going down hill from day two when some were unable to return and started affecting progress.
Carpets were left rolled up in various parts of the house which I had to relay and did not have a problem with this but not pleased with the holes left in my floor boards and some boards that were not nailed/screwed back in to place.
There were some issues (water leak, wrongly located valve and wrong breaker switch) once completed that Greener Living returned to fix.
The project manager said as part of the sales pitch he will come with the installation team on one of the days as a minimum. He never came around and sent a team that had about half of them working the final week with the company.
A pipe from my old boiler was used as a drainage pipe and left on the ground. I was told a return visit will be arranged to correct this. 4 months on, I am still chasing Greener Living to come and fix this and not had much luck.
I was informed commissioning of the system will be two weeks from the installation date. Again, this has not been done 4months on. I was not even given the manuals for the equipment installed.
I am glad I refused to make the demanded full payment ahead of the installation and only did this after installation was complete. I wonder what sort of installation I would have had if I had agreed to pay ahead of the install. Most annoying message from the customer service team is to tell me they are prioritising other customers who supposedly do not have heating and they will get to me. I am still waiting 4 months on.
I should have gone with other feedback I read! Disgraceful!
