Un très beau kit
Commande passée le mardi après midi, et reçue le jeudi, vraiment top! Le tout bien emballé et protégé (ils ne lésinent pas sur le papier bulle). Le kit commandé (Rickenbacker gaucher) est superbe, les bois semblent de belle qualité, la table est massive (non non ce n'est pas du contre plaqué). Le manche est de belle facture. Les mécaniques semblent un peu cheap, nous verrons à l'usage pour un changement si besoin. Jusque là, je recommande!

Had problems with the wiring
Had problems with the wiring. Have built over 20 guitars so know what should be what. Problem with the wiring on this kit. Dutifully followed all instructions from their support person. Wiring is faulty. I should not have to go so far as to re-solder parts to correct problems. Now being ignored.

The website is honestly catastrophic but I love the customer support
The website is honestly catastrophic. The design, the information. Examples: the payment info (bank transfer) is not sufficient for someone from another country. My card was declined for no apparent reason. I didn't really receive a lot of information about my package, I needed to track it myself (usually I will receive info that it is on its way and will be delivered on a certain date). However, your customer support is top notch. Really awesome people, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, super quick to answer with comprehensive updates. Love them, please give them my best :))

would like to inform you that I have still not received the order ref: 2000003432 of 05/30/2024. The carrier notified me of several delivery delays only to finally show "delivered" even though I received nothing. It appears that the carrier has misplaced the package. thank you in the future for no longer offering me this carrier

Great Bang for your Buck Kit!
For the money, this kit is a great deal. The wooden parts were pretty good, and I had to do minimal work on them (I did have to work on the neck pocket and drill guide holes) to get the neck to fit well. The hardware is on par for a kit of this cost, so I did upgrade the tuners and bridge. Wiring was easy given everything was pre-wired; however, the connectors were difficult to thread through the body cavity holes. I had to use a guitar string to pull the connectors through the body.
I actually like the sound of the pickups, and they are dead quiet to my surprise. Since the frets are small, I used heavy strings and set this guitar up for using a slide, so I'm pretty stoked to have such a killer looking guitar for such a great price.

QUALITY CONTROL ON GUITAR BODY IS APPALLING! GUESSWORK WITH INSTRUCTIONS, HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE
EDIT: Customer support after writing this review has been very good. Make no mistake, this is a product in development, with the potential to be really good with clear instructions and good quality control. Seems to be a company willing to improve and appreciate feedback.
Bought the Les Paul in Ash. Opened up the box and found that the neck pocket on body has been hacked away, so much so that the neck is practically at a 45 degree angle rather than straight. Tried to contact, no reply. Paid over £200 including delivery. Never write reviews but incredibly disappointed, quality control is not good at this company, guitar cannot be used, really looking forward to this first build, put me off designing truthfully.

We're sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with the product. As we mentioned in our email, you initially tried to contact us using the wrong email address. When we saw your review, we realized you had used info@guitarfabric.com instead of guitarkitfabric@gmail.com. Once we got in touch with you, we offered various solutions, including feedback from our technical expert to help with adjustments, or the option to return the product for a full refund. Specifically, we explained that it is normal for an LP to have a slight angle of approximately 6 degrees, and from your picture, the angle is clearly not 45 degrees. You can find more information online about what a 45-degree angle looks like. It seems you ultimately decided to keep the product rather than request a refund, so perhaps it wasn’t as bad as you initially thought. We hope at the end you manage to build a nice guitar. If you still struggle don't hesitate to contact us, we are always here to help our customers. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t locate an order from this individual in our records. We reached out through Trustpilot for more information, but the customer did not respond. Based on the name and our records, it appears that this person has never purchased any of our products, suggesting that this may be a case of defamation. Additionally, we have not received any email complaints regarding our headstock stickers.
Don't waste your money, check more serious seller
Bought lute-making tools for my guitar, I had to work on frets. On the website tools are shown as verified by an expert, strong, long lasting, accurate and adapt for high quality work... so I started my work... the tool for the staightness isn't staight, the tool for filing wears out very fast, the tool for shaping frets has damage them.
I have to admit that the only tool that works well is the polishing gums
After few searches I found all the same tools as Guitar Fabric on Aliexpress for half the price !
I haven't test guitar kits but I will not buy one with this seller.
So in the end I bought real lute-making tools from another serious and professional seller

I'm not saying that you buy on Aliexpress, but that your tools are the same, certainly your Chinese supplier also sells his items on Aliexpress. Maybe you are just the seller and you trust your "expert", but I can assure you that your luthier-making tools are not good. I wrote reviews on your website for each tool I bought... only the positive review for the polishing gums was published... strange isn't it?
The tools I received do not have your logo engraved on them, unlike those shown on your website, maybe you've stopped having them engraved to save some money. Perhaps I was unlucky in having a tool that was not straight, but the sanding block with so little and bad sanding paper... I sould better had to go to a DIY shop, buy a piece of aluminium section, sanding sheets for metal and double face tape... And the crowning file... it's a toy ! look at its relief, it imitates a diamond file but it's not one, impossible to file with it and the 4 faces do not correspond to any frets crowning profiles.
I would be curious to see a video with your "expert" carrying out a planimetry on his own guitar using the tools on your website. (Especially the part with the crowning file)
And finally, I haven't received any emails from you... well, only one... the invoice !
Maybe it's time to change "expert" team

Note that we would have love to receive images showing the issue as it is a bit difficult to evaluate the issue from your feedback here. We have tried to reach you via a couple of emails over last weeks, but no replies from you.
Although we are confidents about our high quality, still quality control issue can happen even though issue on 2 products is unexpected.
We do have a strong quality control process and we thrives to make better and better luthier tools. We are not a company relying on heavy communication therefore our main objective is to please our customer and spread the good words about our products and our customer service with a team including luthiers and various technical experts.
Speaking about customer service, please do contact us to let us know about the issue you faced and get either a full refund or replacement or if needed feedback from our experts. We have tried to contact you after seeing your review but you haven’t reply to us. Please do not hesitate to reply or contact us via our email portal!
Finally, regarding your comment making a comparison between our luthier tools and what you find on Aliexpress we are absolutely confident that it cannot be the same products!
