I had such an amazing experience with Dr Amy! Having trouble with your hairline during your late teenage years can be very daunting and has recently taken a toll on my confidence. Right from the beginning, Dr Amy made me feel super comfortable and reassured. She was super kind and really easy to talk to and listened to all of my concerns.
My favourite part of the consultation was seeing my scalp and hair under a microscope, which was so cool and fascinating! She explained everything thoroughly and with great detail. We discussed on what might be causing my hair loss and went through different treatments.
What I really appreciated most was that I never felt pressured to buy anything or start medication right away. I’ve read reviews on other Dermatologists/ Trichologists about people feeling pushed into treatment, but Dr Amy was nothing like that! She went through all the possible treatments but left the decision completely up to me, which is really respected!
I left feeling more confident and reassured and a lot more hopeful.

Admitting to yourself that your post-menopausal hair has noticeably thinned is challenging. Even harder to articulate that to someone else! However, Dr Amy Vowler's sympathetic, professional and engaging approach was essential to commence the topical treatment that hopefully thickens my hair ... I'll let you know.

As I entered my 40s, my hair was noticeably thinning on top and seeing myself on camera in Zoom calls was enough to make me finally take action. I was among the first to start losing my hair in my friendship group in my early 20s, and I always felt self-conscious about my hair and appearance. I was a little apprehensive about taking the first steps to address my concerns, but Dr Amy was very reassuring and easy to talk to and thorough with her examination. I went to visit Amy with a view to enhancing my hair. Whilst my hair is just thinning slightly I wanted to see if I could improve things. Right from the initial communication the service and response has been exemplary. I had a course of PRP injections which are starting to show positive signs. I was expertly guided by Amy from the beginning. She explained all the steps in layman's terms and knew how to ensure I was comfortable with everything before deciding to proceed. The location is quiet and easy to find and very clean. The treatment was not painful and amy was always extremely friendly and warm and ensuring I was ok all the way through. She made it a pleasant and smooth experience. Amy is extremely professional and a pleasure to talk to. I have been having treatments with Dr Amy since February 2024 and have been absolutely blown away with the results. I first went to see her for polynucleotides. I felt at ease in her company as she explained everything in so much detail and her level of care was outstanding. I booked a 3 month course with her and had both my eyes and neck done and was thrilled with the results. They were so noticeable even after the first month. Upon going back to see Dr Amy for my top up I then started a PRP course as I felt my hair was thinning, again the results were outstanding.
