Fascinating & Fun!
Five of us toured the factory on a Saturday. and watched candy cane production. Tour was fascinating, history of the company was interesting and our guide knowledgeable and fun. We had a great time in the candy shop after the tour, leaving with gifts to take from our trip. (though not all candy is Hammond’s) I would have liked more time to just sit and watch the candy makers ply their trade. Well worth the time and I highly recommend a visit!

Worth finding

Factory Visit
Visited the factory and got to see how the magic is made. It was very informative and great to see how a local business can reach a market worldwide. Definitely a place to visit if your in Denver.

Old fashioned candy from heaven
Old fashioned candy from heaven. Candy canes, lolly pops, ribbon candy, lemon drops, Mitchell sweets, chocolate... If you are ever in Denver area, take their tour and see how they make the candy right in front of you. So satisfying to watch a person manipulate a giant brick of colorful candy that will then be streched into one thousand swirly candy canes. Excellent candy shop, friendly staff, and really good sweets.
