Annalisa was really helpful in making choices for the refurbishment of our Harvey Jones kitchen. First installed 20 years ago, it has now been refreshed with a new colour (thanks for the paintwork Tony!) and new handles making an altogether fresh look. It's great from a sustainability perspective to be able to revamp the kitchen in this way rather than having to rip it out and start again. Annalisa was very easy to talk to and she quickly developed an understanding of our approach and requirements. Annalisa used her experience to proactively make suggestions as to what would work which we have been really pleased with. Thank you!!

At our meeting today to finalise details of our kitchen David Gregory went far beyond the call of duty in accessing the handles we needed, fulfilling promise on our fridge even though our choice was not on his list, and amending matters to meet our wishes
He deserves a five star rating overall even if the first design missed some of what we asked for - soon put right
He puts in a huge amount of effort for his clients

I was contemplating on a new kitchen and David Gregory came to my flat and spent some good time surveying the current lay out and giving advice and recommendations. He followed up with many emails and I felt in good hands. In the end I couldn't go ahead with the project as my work required me to go abroad. But thank you Harvey Jones Kitchen and David for their competent advice. much appreciated!

Was really impressed with the discovery session I had from David in the Clifton branch. I thought we had an impossible space to fit a kitchen in, but David managed to come up with some impressive solutions and suggestions. He clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience, as well as a keen eye for the technical and aesthetic elements of design.

We had a fantastic discovery session with Harvey Jones Kitchens in Clifton and must give thanks especially to David, our designer. His knowledge and passion truly stood out.

David went above and beyond, thoughtfully revisiting and improving our kitchen layout ideas, showing genuine enthusiasm and care for getting it just right. We appreciated how he balanced creativity with practicality, keeping our budget in mind while offering clever solutions. His personal, attentive approach made the whole process enjoyable and reassuring. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the design and the people he works with. We highly recommend Harvey Jones and David for anyone seeking a bespoke kitchen.

I had a Discovery Session with David today in the Clifton showroom . I went in very unclear about what our kitchen needed, and whether we could find the budget to do a bespoke kitchen . Within 10 minutes I knew that David really gets kitchens : he saw issues I hadn’t registered and offered solutions I’d never considered . Totally impressed with the time and attention he gave : he and Andrew stayed half an hour past their opening time to help me get the plan I needed . Cannot give enough stars for this level of customer care and service, and David does an amazing job to convince his clients to choose Harvey Jones in a totally non pushy and professional way ! We will planning to buy from them thanks to David’s attention to detail and his impressive knowledge of all things kitchen-related .

I walked into the Bristol showroom and spoke to Andrew. I have been dreaming of a new kitchen for over 15 years but have always felt a little intimidated about walking into a showroom. He could not have put me more at ease - he answered all my questions and my experience was so positive that I am one step closer to that kitchen. David then followed up with a call and has the most charming (and funny) but also practical telephone manner. My follow up appointment will happen soon and I am so impressed by the professionalism of the staff and quality of the kitchens I saw I shall be exploring my options further....to be updated with the Chester experience which is my local branch. Andrew knew I wouldn't be buying from Bristol but couldn't have helped me more - so thank you

My new kitchen is everything I wanted! I worked with kitchen designer Hubert Sobulski on my kitchen design and bootroom bench design. Hubert is based in central London. He followed my project through every step of the process until it was complete. He is extremely personable, a very talented designer, he found creative solutions to all my many kitchen storage needs and was a joy to work with. Despite me changing my mind a few times and having a wobble occasionally, nothing was ever any trouble for him. My new kitchen is exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love it. He helped me choose everything from handles, to taps, to the range, the marble countertops etc. He helped me choose the paint colours and looked at my whole flat to ensure it was cohesive. He understood the calm mood I was after and helped me achieve it. My kitchen is first and foremost beautiful to look at. It is very well built from solid wood. The quality of the materials, including hinges and drawer sliders, and the paint job is excellent. I had Antoine as my kitchen installer. He was also outstanding. I have a Grade 2 listed property with wonky walls and floors which created challenges to the fitting but he created solutions to everything. Mo was the organiser on my job. He made sure the correct trades were here when they needed to be and that the materials for fitting and painting were ready. He was also lovely to deal with, extremely polite and always available. Overall, I now have a premium kitchen which I adore. The process from start to finish was outstanding. I am really thrilled and extremely grateful. Thank you so much!

Andrew in the Clifton showroom brilliantly guided me through the entire process of choosing my perfect breakfast dresser. We went for an integrated FF alongside it to make perfect use of the space too. He understood my taste and needs by carefully considering how my family intend to use the area. We are so excited by the final design and can’t wait to use it! Amazing, professional service throughout.

We need designs for kitchen and utility for a new build and have had wonderful help from David Gregory. I walk past Harvey Jones showroom in Bristol every day but knew their quality would be beyond our reach. So when needing a new kitchen my wife and I visited three of the big nationals, Wren, Magnet and Howden and chose one for a design session. They produced what we thought was an excellent and practical design. Out of interest we walked into Harvey Jones and everything changed. David spent an hour with us showing how our design could be greatly improved even by a big national. A full design session with David followed at which he suggest an “out of box” change to the way the space allocated by our architects could be used. It reduced the number of units while greatly improving the use and appearance of kitchen and utility and reduce cost below the national suppliers quote. Every step since has benefited from David’s ideas.

The design process with HJ Hove and Charlotte has been a pure delight. After meeting with several vendors I chose HJ because of their craftsmanship, welcoming and friendly atmosphere and customisable solutions. So far the process has been very enjoyable and it’s always been a nice addition to the week to come into the showroom and discuss design solutions with Charlotte. I’m now moving into the engineering stage and am sure the service will continue with on an equally great trajectory.

I booked in for the free design service on Saturday 9th November 2024. We met with Stacey who spent over 2 hours with us in the show room going over our upcoming renovation plans. We went through in detail our architect drawings which included the space for a new kitchen, bar area and utility. At the appointment, we had our 2 children with us, one of which was just a few months old so it was a lot to sit through keeping them entertained through the appointment but we continued knowing we should get a good gage of potential cost and a draft design. We followed up, at Stacey’s request with the measurements and plans on email so the draft kitchen design could be drawn up.
Since the appointment, we have been completely ignored by Stacey and her colleague Aaron. We sent emails on 17th December and again on 6th January asking for an update and if a draft copy of a design was available and they have both failed to respond to the emails. Having spent the afternoon going through the plans and hoping to see if a Harvey Jones kitchen was for us, it’s disappointing that the level of follow up and customer service failed to deliver. The reason for the review today is because I received another marketing email from Harvey Jones offering the free design service, and it prompted me to leave the review about our experience and the failed response and service from the team in Marlow.

We have since decided to move forward with a fully bespoke handmade kitchen, bar, utility, boot room and media room with another supplier.

I knew I wanted a Harvey Jones kitchen when I fell in love with the Arbor design while looking for ideas in their Birmingham showroom. Our renovation project actually took us 13 years of scheming and then 7 years fighting the legal side before we got the go ahead. Two years before the end of that period I contacted Harvey Jones to start the ball rolling. Katy from the Harrogate shop was just fabulous and came up with a design that worked wonderfully with our tiny space. We had a very definite idea of the style and vibe we were going for and she just 'got' us completely. She also knew our budget was tight and didn't pressure us into spending more than we were comfortable with. And although we weren't buying as many units as most people, we were never treated as if we were lesser clients. Katy was easy to chat to and never too busy to answer our questions. There was a sale on at that time so we made a deposit and were assured that the price would be held at that level for the next 2 years, which was very important for us as the builders hadn't even started work at that point. And true to their word two years later when we eventually ordered our kitchen it was at the same price they had promised. By this time Katy had moved on and the lovely Beth had taken on her clients. Beth was very excited to see our space so came to visit too, and also checked our original design would still work as we could now measure the actual space. We changed it slightly to fit the space better and I had also sourced a bespoke brass sink so the sink unit had to be bespoke too. I wanted a drawer below the sink and Beth made that happen. We were only buying the units from Harvey Jones and our builder was fitting them and I was sourcing the hardware and painting them to save money. Everything went as smoothly as it could. The units arrived safely exactly when they were supposed to, along with extra filler pieces in case the builders needed them. They were all beautifully packaged and looked absolutely stunning, so luxurious. The builders were really impressed with the build quality, and after I explained that they were fixed to a baton on the wall (as Beth had instructed) they had no problem fitting them. I easily painted them and am so pleased with the result. They are everything I dreamed of and more, and we have had so many compliments on our kitchen. Harvey Jones have been such a joy to work with from start to finish, we couldn't have achieved such a stunning kitchen without them and I would recommend them to anyone.

We are very happy with the final outcome of the kitchen installation. Towards the end of the construction period the company encountered a problem with one of the larger countertops which meant that the completion date would have to be extended and prevent us from using the kitchen and over the Xmas holiday. Harvey Jones worked hard to find a solution and installed a temporary countertop for the island that allowed us to spend Xmas at our property in Edinburgh. It was clear from the outset when the problem was identified that they would find a solution at their own cost and meet their timeline obligations. The entire team were very helpful and diligent to solve the problem. The final installation of the correct countertop was completed in January without any issues.

We had a fabulous experience designing our kitchen with David from Harvey Jones Bristol. David had really brilliant ideas to transform a relatively small space into our dream kitchen - Saving us as much storage space as possible whilst introducing things we've always wanted & didn't know were doable in the space that we have. His ideas are practical as much as they are beautiful and he really went above & beyond to get us those integral finishing touches that pull it all together. We're excited to get around to having it fitted!

I would not recommend Harvey Jones.

The experience has been far from what was contracted for, there have been large gaps in the level of service received regarding the supply and installation management of a high quality kitchen.

I had made multiple requests to escalate and resolve my concerns quickly. The issues remained unaddressed and I repeatedly asked to speak to a director/manager to raise the gap in management and get a focus to an installation that clearly wasn’t going well.

Issues included:
- Incomplete delivery we were missing 3 units and 2 missing drawers from the outset
- Incorrect units construction - not inline with the specification agreed which effected 3 units needing replacements
- Incorrect scullery sink - had a tap hole when the specification clearly shows surface mounted taps and the tap models were shared during the design process
- Incorrect replaced scullery sink - wrong size, an 800mm sink was provided, although the invoice showed 900mm
- Incorrect sink kitchen fittings - the slotted drain fitting were too big
- Wrong hinges on some units - the specification was antique brass but were polished brass on multiple units
- Inconsistent colour magnets - some were chrome, some were gold)

The acknowledgement from management that something has gone seriously wrong in the process came too late and because of that caused undue delay to us, unnecessary cost and considerable inconvenience in having to identify and manage mistakes and their impact ourselves - ultimately, this was Harvey Jones’ responsibility, a responsibility that was not owned.

The direct costs involved included the worktop fitter rebooking (due to the correct sink not being onsite), additional days for plumbers (because of the incorrect parts) and electrician (because the kitchen fitter was in the space on days that were overrun during fitting).

Ended up costing thousands of pounds extra in trades, plus the cost of my time to accept replacement parts and move them myself.

Compliant procedure was slow (like the rest of their response to issues) and with lack of ownership and meaningful outcome.

The above is a true reflection of my experience. Avoid this company.
