Ordered 2 different times this year, one green batch, one red. Both came on time and in excellent condition. I also love all the recipe ideas. The website is easy to navigate.

This is my third year to order medium hatch green chiles. This go around the flavor and size were generally lacking. I had to shorten time on the grille due to the prevalence of smaller chiles...perhaps that was part of the issue? Multiple smaller ones just did not survive the heat and my established technique.

The roasted hatch chile is wonderful. My favorite from New Mexico.
The green chile tortillas are very flavorful but a little too dry and broken.

Will definitely order again! I ordered 4 lbs of the hottest available chilies and I can say my family and I were not disappointed. The chilies had excellent flavor and were satisfyingly hot. I was also pleased that the chilies were packaged so well and arrived quickly after the order was made.

Product is fantastic, shipping was perfect. My only disappointment is that I left 2 messages to get my questions answered prior to placing my order as direxted by the website. And it's been weeks and no one called back. I likely would have ordered more if someone can called back to help me clarify a couple of things.

This is the second year we have ordered 25 lbs of hot hatch chiles. We roast them ourselves. The chiles always arrive in great condition. This year they were not as “meaty” as last year but still good!

Seamless transparent order to shipment process, received a quality fresh batch of medium green chilies in a timely manner. Met my expectations. Heat from the medium was consistent. Make a batch of green chilie stew, to test the heat. A batch with 10 chilies brought tears to our eyes.

The Hatch Chile Store has been my "Go To" site for New Mexico chile products. My last order was for a collection of red and green sauces. The products arrived carefully packed within a few days. Prices are excellent at the Store, and a lot can be learned by following their tips and newsletters concerning their products. They are an excellent company to buy from.

I appreciate that you are a small family owned store, been there, done that. It's hard.
Just want to share my experience. I have been ordering fresh green chilis for a little over 30 years. I am living half a year in Upstat NY, so you know these chilis aren't available.
I had ordered Big Jim Chili's about 3 years ago. They kept just fine in my SubZero. When trying to reorder this year for myself and a friend who became a fan, I noticed I could only order Mild, Medium or Hot. Knowing Big Jim's are mild (I assume), I placed my order and waited. My friend had a grille and I went there to roast. I have now had 2 different servings and my chilis are tasteless. The smell is almost non existent also.
Please go back to the way I used to order, ie. Big Jim's as this order isn't worth sharing and converting Northerners.

PS Received sometime in late August 2024.

This was my first Green Chile order. My order was processed very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. The G76 chile I received was not as hot as I hoped so we'll see if the X-Hot really is.

After a huge mix up with my first attempt at Rejinos, I have to say that the Company has offered to re send my full order, basically no questions ask. I respect that in a Company. I have always been happy with products from them. I am so Happy to know I can get the order.

I moved from southern New Mexico in 2002 to North Carolina and have missed the food especially the chile. Hatch Chile has provided a huge comfort food to me and the experience with store orders is always above and beyond.

I ordered medium chile, 25 pounds. They are not medium. They have no flavor really. I would be embarrassed calling these “mild.” I don’t think there’s a molecule of capsaicin in the whole lot. I’m eating them, but can’t taste them. The positive note is that they arrived quickly & were very fresh.

The ability to get honest, fresh hatch green chile peppers direct from the valley is awesome! The peppers arrived fresh and pungent, and were perfect! Toss them on the grill to roast and you have the perfect green chile!
