Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time on this garbage service. You’re functionally paying taxes with the amount of money you lose from the card not working and then getting charged. It’s not worth it. You might even end up paying more than what you would in taxes.

I have a pre-tax transit card that’s repeatedly gets declined at the subway turnstile even though I have funds, then i pay with my regular post-tax money only to find a charge on the health equity card. So I’ve paid twice. This has happened at least four times in the last two months. I’ve paid 12 bucks for the privilege of paying pre-tax money? That’s about a week of transit costs for me.

To add to the frustration I’m constantly waking up to “declined” purchases on my Apple wallet that were sent at 2am when I was sleeping and that’s not possible.

Stopping contributions to this today.

I have been very satisfied with the service provided by Health Equity and my Health Savings Account. The website is easy to navigate and there is always a real person to help if you encounter any problems or questions.

Service was provided with courtesy and a well knowledgeable representative

The first CSR I spoke to sounded like she was reading off a script and was constantly stumbling over her words and saying "umm" every time she talked. Her responses would not address my issues, and I would have to repeat myself frequently. I couldn't log in and she said because they needed to add my phone number it would take 7-10 business days for me to log in. I asked to speak to someone else and I was on hold for at least 15 min or so. The call lasted over 50 minutes. I hung up and called again. The second CSR was lovely! He was well spoken and knowledgeable. I was logged into my account in 10 minutes. He deserves all the accolades! If I had only spoken to him, I would be giving this service 5 stars.

Don't bother. The receipts you get from doctors' offices do not provide the level of detail that HealthEquity requires. It's not worth the time to go back and forth between your providers and HE to come up with acceptable documentation. Especially frustrating when it's $30 for a charge that was clearly a dr office.

The representative made a genuine effort to resolve my problem and actually did indeed get it fixed.

If I could give them a zero, I would! My company has used them for years and they work very hard to ensure you can’t use your FSA money. The app
Is useless and the customer service is incompetent. If you are a company looking for a FSA carrier company do not use them!!! Horrible company!

The helpdesk member was very informed and was able to help me with two different issue with ease.

The customer service rep was extremely kind and helpful with ensuring my issue was resolved. Unfortunately, I did not write down her name but she was knowledgeable about the situation and confirmed the details.

Both the online experience and customer support are impossible to work with. They forgot to send me an HSA card, and I have no way to pay for anything. Customer support will not help and clearly do not care.
Cannot access EZ reciptes either now and phone calls, emails, live chat, almost always lead to no solutions and no actual human helping you.
This company is cheap and cuts corners. They want large corporation money and could care less about their actual customers receiving the HSA, FSA, and other benefits.

The associate agent was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient with me.

In order to use this or look at your account, you have to download a app that doesn't work. Might as well as throw your money in the fire.

The representative that helped me resolve my issue was very courteous, professional, and her willingness to assist was greatly appreciated. Her friendliness made you feel at ease.

This phone call that I made this morning was very fast professional and courteous.

Health equity is terrible.

You can invest your money, but you have to log in to advise Health Equity to sell investments and transfer money in order to be reimbursed for medical expenses. This is tedious, and something that could just happen automatically. For example, if you've got $500 in your HSA and $15,000 in HSA investments, and you submit a bill for $600 to be reimbursed, why can't Health Equity just sell what they need to in investments to cover the claim?

In addition, I have struggled with the passkey since its inception, and couldn't access my account again today.

And lastly, there are some things you have to log into the website to do, and other things you have to log into the app to do.

Hugely inconvenient, all of it.

Customer service was excellent. I could not have asked for any better service.
