We went to see Robbie on Saturday 26th August at Sandringham. The concert itself was brilliant – the performances, staging and impressive grounds exceeded all expectations.
BUT we had several concerns about the organisation of the event especially at the end of the concert. There seemed to be no crowd control whatsoever, with thousands of people being ‘funnelled’ through one relatively small exit and no obvious lighting apart from people’s torches or phones. There was no sign of any security staff to guide or assist and it felt as though the situation was out of control and potentially very dangerous.
Although safety was our main concern, it was also frustrating that no food, drinks or chairs were allowed into the grounds, also the very unpleasant state and lack of sufficient toilet facilities. Would have expected better at such a lovely location!
Exiting the car park onto the main road took two hours - and it had already taken an hour to reach our car through all the crowds! I think the lack of traffic marshalls and road infrastructure were both factors in the traffic problems.
Unless the event organisation is hugely improved, we will not be attending any more concerts run by Heritage Live at Sandringham in the future. Extremely disappointing!

The Robbie Williams concert itself was excellent but Heritage Live’s organisation was shambolic to say the least. From the moment we arrived in the Sandringham area, the whole experience was hell on earth. Clueless stewards, zero signage, odd venue layout and a VIP area that was beyond a joke. Despite assurances that coeliacs would be catered for, all coeliac food had run out on night two, there was no zero alcohol beer for the driver (me) due to ‘supply issues’. HL are not a competent event management company and you should think very carefully before parting with your hard-earned to a company that does not care about its customers, their safety or hospitality. Leaving was the ultimate end to a poor evening. We left during the encores and, only via my own efforts, hot-footed it to the nearest available exit. It took friends who lingered to the end more than two hours to get out of the car park. Lighting was non-existent and what staff there were were overwhelmed and incapable of organising anything let alone directing the masses. A joke!

Thanks Heritage Live, another £160 up the Swanee. We were supposed to see the glorious Who today but decided against it after the debacle of the venue for the Robbie concert.

Could not contemplate another 4 hours of queues going nowhere fast. Curious that the queuing times were only alluded to days before the concerts when everyone had bought tickets. Shame you did not advertise the average cost of a meal or the drinks at the venue. I could have saved up just in case I was hungry or thirsty. Free gratis water no doubt save your reputation. Cheers again for nothing

we visitedyesterday for Robbie at Sandringham and the weather clearly was not brilliant but eventually was good. although waiting all that time under a parasol, we had a good spot, near some metal railing. Robbie started then you all of sudden crew brought some lights or, platform something very big and bang in front of our view, no explanation nothing , so noisy we had to move. then a group of motor bikes moved right in middle of Robbie songs. why couldn't that be all done in the break, but also tell your customers what that lighting thing is and we might want to move. !!!. disappointing when spent so much money. 😕

Robbie Williams at Sandringham Sunday. Very poor value for money in VIP. We were far off to the right side of the stage, no access to front of stage, no food in the area, bizarrely placed seating right in front of the barrier between VIP and GA. Absolutely NOT worth the money. Leaving the venue was totally chaotic and not well organised at all. Won't attend a concert organised by this crew again. Shame because Robbie was fantastic.

This concert was very mediocre with the only highlight being the Squeeze set. Van Morrison was his usual bad-mannered, arrogant self...playing very few of the songs that brought him fame (and money)!! Not so much as a 'thanks for coming' said to the audience!! He remains a tight-lipped and arsed monarchist from the North of Ireland! That's the last he'll see of my hard-earned cash!!
Beer at 7 quid a pint and sub-standard, rip-off food, made this event the worst I've been to in years....perhaps not surprising given that the venue belongs to our overpaid royals!!
As for the Heritage campervan site - It was disgraceful being way overpriced for virtually no facilities..a real rip-off!!

We went to see Robbie Williams yesterday at Sandringham and he was brilliant as usual. Much better than the organisation of this event! Getting into the event and parking was okay and we were directed to a parking spot . People were told they couldn't bring chairs into the event but could bring picnic blankets which took up far more room. But of course deck chairs were for hire at a cost, surprise surprise! They had some hay bales around but not enough to accommodate 25,000 people. Even in the refreshment area there were only a few tables and benches. There were loads and loads of food stalls but absolutely nowhere to sit! We were not allowed to bring and food and drink and so people had to pay an extortionate amount to have something there.
The toilets were awful from the start. Hand sanitizer was running out quite quickly and the water or chemicals in the toilet was non-existent in some of the cubicles! There were lots and lots of staff but a many of them were just standing around chatting and, if we asked a question, they didn't know the answer!
The biggest problem was getting out of the area which is always difficult when there are so many people. As we left the area there was no lighting and people were falling over empty wine bottles, cups, deckchairs and hay bales! There was absolutely nobody at the start to direct us to the right area to get our cars. Thousands of people were sardined together and the events of Hillsborough came to mind. There were a lot of older people with mobility problems and I would be very surprised if they were not some claims for compensation due to injuries. Nearer to the car park there was a few security people barking orders everybody and it seemed that they had completely lost control of the crowd. It became quite frightening at times as people surged towards the car parks but not sure where they should be going. At one point a couple were trying to get their way back through the oncoming crowds because they were told to go the other way. When we told the security man who was shouting orders he said they would never do that. I only hope the couple got through unscathed. All in all the organisation of this event was abysmal. If they're going to continue to run these events at Sandringham they need to step up on staff training and Crowd Control. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if some members of the public contacted the health and safety Executive

first of all Robbie Williams at Sandringham was excellent! but we had read so much about the chaos of getting in and out that we went at 1pm which was great at getting the car in , apart from having to pay £10!, We left half an hour before the end as didn't want to be stuck in a queue for hours !
iv never known a pedestrian queuing system of going around in circles to finally get in !! Crazy! people didn't have a clue where the end of the line was to join.
couldn't take in chairs but could hire them for £10.... what a con. we did hire, else would have been standing for 8 hours before robbie came on in the pouring rain!
really poor management and moneymaking. won't be going to a heritage live concert again !

Get you act together heritage live
No one wants to spend over 3 hours at a standstill in a car park and get home at 3.30 in the morning and my journey was only an hour away! 😡
Did your traffic marshals leave off at 10pm?????
Not even one seen after the fantastic concert, it spoilt my evening.

Was at the Robbie Williams concert in Sandringham last night, great concert. However, the organisation and logistics was a sh.t show. Did anyone die or get injured? The crowd control on the exit was dangerous. Heritage Live have no idea how to mange large crowds.

I would give it no stars if I could. Went to see Robbie Williams at Sandringham. No organisation re car parking or people leaving. The fields where the car parking was had no way of identifying where you were parked other than Red or Blue car park. No direct route to follow going in to the concert once parked but when we came out they sent everyone a different way. It took an hour to find our car and we were far from alone, many people were wandering around in the dark with completely no idea of where their car was. We sat in the car once we found it and much later before we could get out people were still looking for their cars. It took over 2 hours to get in and out. No organisation with crowd control as we left the concert crowds walking through cars trying to get out and in the middle of it all people with walking sticks and wheelchairs trying to get across to the accessible area. Absolutely disgraceful, the toilets were disgusting and not nearly enough, hot dogs £12. Sandringham is not suitable in my opinion for big events like this. Heritage Live you should be ashamed.

Went to see Robbie Williams 26th August at Sandringham. On entry we asked 5/6 car parking attendants where the VIP guest parking was and not one of them knew, so we parked in the blue car park.
In VIP although they had informed us that there would be limited seats there were not enough of those as we noticed many people were in there that were not VIP. Some were escorted out by security but during the actual RW session, security were letting people in to use the toilets and it was mayhem. My Sister was physically attacked by a drunk woman trying to push through, we called for security but they did nothing. No coffee station in the area and that wouldn’t have hurt you to put one there. The entertainment of fiddlers were drowned out by music from the stage, we had to listen to both at the same time. The only entertainment we saw, apart from one person on stilts.The worse bit was after the show. 30,000 people exiting at one time with little signs of security. People were lifting barriers and surging forward. An accident waiting to happen and I am happy it didn’t. Some people began to cross a small stream which resulted in disaster for them. We eventually got to our car by midnight. We then were hemmed in for a further hour and a half. We did not see any car parking attendants in our area until we got out on the road. (We did see about 8 in a group just chatting though) I expected delays but this was ridiculous.
Security and car parking was a big fat 0 for us.

Sandringham 25th August Van Morrison. Like others, compared to other venues, Kew Gardens, Audley End etc, this was all about profiteering. Overpriced, poor quality food and drink (you are banned from bringing your own, bags are searched) stupid queueing systems & petty unreasonable rules. No folding chairs! They claim for safety reasons, in line with other outdoor venues? Well I have never been to one that has that rule, maybe more to do with renting deckchairs at £7 a pop. All gone when we arrived of course.
Sound was good, Del Amitri and Squeeze excellent, Van Morrison saw a large amount of folk leave early due to his set being devoid of any of his much loved classics.

Will not come to Sandringham again.

I don’t normally write reviews but wow. Heritage live. Attended Robbie Williams at Sandringham last night and the concert was great but the organisation in leaving was absolute chaos. No exit signs and a complete free for all. Took 2 and a half hours to get out of the car park as there was zero traffic management! I commented on their Facebook post saying what chaos it had been and I they blocked me. What a professional response to a customers complaint from a company as big as heritage live! They lied on their social media saying car parks were cleared by 1am when I and hundreds of others were still stuck in the car parks at 1.30am!!
For the amount of people attending this concert there was no where near enough toilets either! Profits before customer experience. So disappointed with what I thought was a professional event company. Do better.

Just left Robbie Williams concert at Sandringham.
Robbie was great.
The Sandringham estate is not suitable for such events.
The access roads are woefully inadequate for so many vehicles.
The car parks ‘fields’ have no signage to locate your car after the event in the dark.
The funnelling of crowds was in my view were potentially dangerous.
I would not attend an event at Sandringham due to safety concerns.
The so called VIP area was not fit for purpose.
There are better venues Robbie!

I have booked to see Robbie Williams at Sandringham. I wish so much I wasn’t going On booking I didn’t realise you can’t take chairs, food or drink Is Heritage Live getting a pay off from the vendors selling the food and drink At least Audley End you could take food and chairs Why is it so different at Sandringham?? Also £29 for a bottle of wine!!!!! Disgusting

Dreadful greedy company who couldn't run a bath let alone a event. Guy kept asking for my tickets every time I left the golden circle and came back despite have a gold wristband. They charge £16 for a Double Gin and mixer in a plastic cup (it's a joke!) £18.50 for burger and chips. Vote with your feet, don't give these jokers your hard earned cash!!!!!!

It’s a shame it wasn’t made clear when booking tickets for Robbie Williams at Sandringham, that no food, drink or camping chairs allowed. Apparently a picnic blanket is allowed, so that’s 9 hours of standing or sitting on a blanket!

Having spent over 300 pounds on tickets for 2 people which would avoid queues we were told and seating in a separate area better toilet facilities and separate bar in a vip area. We were dismayed to find no seating left as there was very little seating although lots of people had paid for seating and ended up standing the same as us. Huge queues at bar so we missed part of the concert. We had a nightmare struggle to actually get off the cramped seating area in front of the stage my girlfriend who suffers from panic attacks nearly fainted after being trapped in the middle of the crowd. We also paid extra to be seated closer to the stage but found people in front to the side of us who although outside the seated area had a better veiw and had paid considerably less than us. Some of the toilets were out of order it was disgusting that we paid so much extra and recieved not a lot in return it was a definite con, we were promised vip treatment at a considerably higher cost and recieved in some cases worse than those who had gone for the cheap option. There was only one small entrance and exit onto the front of the stage and this was used by the whole crowd we expected vip access to our seats as it was a nightmare trying to get round to our seats from the vip area. These tickets were sold to a lge amount of people however the provision for that no of people was minimal. We paid a large amount and recieved not a lot in return. We feel cheated an very angry will not be using this firm again. CRAIG LEONARD

Great setting. Music OK. Some sort of scam going on with bar drinks with unexplained add ons to set prices? Obviously exiting by car not properly planned.
