Herne Bay Domestics is an independent, family-run business which was established on the Herne Bay high street in 1984. Our reputation is built upon a combination of high-level customer service and care, and the ability to provide a large stock of domestic appliances at extremely competitive prices, as a result of close relationships with major manufacturers and being part of Euronics. We therefore believe that we have found the right balance between being able to care for the needs of every individual customer, whilst still often being able to offer the same products and prices as the biggest retailers in this field. Our team of delivery drivers and engineers are able to install every product we sell, as well as being able to demonstrate to customers how their new appliance works, and answering any queries on this matter. Meanwhile, our sales team are immediately on hand to fix any subsequent issues, as opposed to having to go through call centres and long queues. Expert advice
Engineer arrived before the appointed time and phoned before he came, which was a bonus.
Unfortunately we needed a new washing machine. The Engineer (Leo) helped me choose a replacement giving his expert advice and experience which was appreciated as the voice was overwhelming. Then organised for payment and provisional delivery via the office.

Very good service. Helpful staff. My new washing machine delivery was arranged at a time to suit me. Delivered and fitted quickly & efficiently. Very polite and tidied up after installation. Have used Herne Bay Domestics before and prefer their personal service to the big chain stores. Would recommend.

Excellent dishwasher assessment and purchase
We called them to investigate our 9 year old dishwasher not working. They came out on time, on bank holiday Monday. They gave us an honest assessment of what the problem might be and after a good discussion we decided to buy a new dishwasher from them. They match prices, they pointed out the ones with a 5 year guarantee, we paid there and then. Next day they delivered and installed the new machine and took the old one away. A much better, more personal experience than going to a larger company.

New induction hob is the business.
My Bosch ceramic hob had broken down for the second time in two years. As it was out of warranty, I contacted Herne Bay Domestics who sent an engineer out for a nominal call-out fee but, unfortunately, it required a new board. In view of this we decided to change to an induction hob and ordered a Míele hob. A week later, my new hob arrived and fitted. Engineers did a wonderful job in installing it and tidied up after them and took time to explain the hob to me.
Would thoroughly recommend HBD.
