Great Communication and practical advice.

I spoke with Paul who called me immediately upon receipt of my enquiry. He took the necessary information to research the best route for me based on my circumstances and booked an appointment the following day. Ultimately, selling by private treaty was best but I appreciated Paul’s time and being a much needed sounding board during a stressful time.

Professional Approach from the Start.
I was recommended to Higgins Drysdale by my estate agent, following a year of failed attempts to sell my Mother's flat after she was moved into care. From the very beginning Paul was on point with good advice which demonstrated his superior knowledge of the property auction market. I was selling at a quiet time of year when interest was not expected to be high but the company uses a data set which collects information leading up to the auction to enable the correct guide price and reserve price to be set to attract bidders and guarantee a sale. Paul kept me up to date every week leading up to the auction and his advice was spot on, enabling the sale of a difficult property at the best possible price, at the time of selling. Paul and his team we're excellent through the auction process. Like most people, it was my first time using an auction service, and I was nervous and unsure. The first time I spoke to Paul he explained the process clearly, helping to reassure me. This level of excellent service continued as we worked together to sell the property.

Paul and the team are realistic, able to move quickly, professional and easy to deal with. Equally important to me was that he was friendly, efficient and puts his clients first.

I contacted Paul Higgins Drysdale after I had a gut feeling my letting agent was not keen for me to sell the property. Even though it was a 'low' value property (< £50,000) he spent over 20 minutes on the phone with me explaining the process and answering my questions; I always feel large auction houses are always annoyingly trying to wrap up the phone call after a couple of minutes - straight into the hard-sell of booking viewings etc.

His advice was different to other companies but I liked his ideas so chose his offering a few days later. The property sold for 45% more than my reserve price which speaks for itself. Very happy with the company and the result!

I must be honest, I was sceptical of the auction option at the outset, but after a long and frankly quite interesting initial discussion with Paul, I was convinced. His experience and professional approach allayed our fears and we gave it a whirl.

I must say to anyone considering this, that our experience was an end-to-end revelation, from the outset, Higgins Drysdale took care of absolutely everything, and did it all flawlessly. We had a specific target price in mind, Paul supported us with that, took care of photographs, marketing to the right sector, arranged a key holder and viewing, right through to achieving our target price and even dealing with some legal complications towards the end.

I have constantly told Paul throughout the process that I am truly amazed more sellers don't use an auction, as compared to the orthodox estate agent experience with exorbitant and unjustified fees, additional 'extras', and concluding with the dreaded 'survey results' - this is a very different, and genuinely enjoyable process.

In summary, I simply cannot recommend Higgins Drysdale highly enough, we achieved our target price, one which agents had already tried to pull us down from, saved an absolute fortune in fees, and with absolutely no hassles or difficulties involved from start to finish.

If you are considering the auction option, go for it, I seriously doubt you will find a better way to sell. Paul is exceptionally helpful, experienced and professional, and I'm sure that you could not be in safer hands for an auction sale.

Faultless and efficient service in very unusual and difficult circumstances. There were many legal and technical problems surrounding the property. Paul overcame each obstacle and rose to the many challenges with aplomb and good grace. I would thoroughly recommend him and his organisation.
