Last Goodbye
They listened to what myself and my Sister wanted for our Dad’s Funeral. He wasn’t religious so they organised a celebrant to come to my home. Flowers we ordered were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Kept informed all the way.
Sadly we did have a small hiccup on the day, but that was due to a technical issue, Our Dad would have been smiling at it
On the Internment Day it was organised so carefully. We weren’t rushed after we laid the Ashes etc. I would recommend them.

A perfect setting and excellent staff
My family were so pleased that we chose Hinton Park for my beloved Dad's funeral. From start to finish we were treated with compassion at such a difficult time. Every wish we had for the funeral was carefully listened to by all members of staff and thoughtfully fulfilled. Our celebrant Anne was just perfect and gave an uplifting tribute in my Dad's memory, just as we envisioned.

22 years later.
Dad was buried here November 2002, yesterday we placed Mum's ashes in the adjacent plot ( purchased 22 years ago). The grounds have developed, where my parents now lie, into a beautiful, semi wild woodland which is exactly what they both wanted. The communication and helpfulness of the staff was superb. We wanted to control the graveside service ourselves which we did, but the staff were there to support if needed. At all times their service was respectful, supportive but in no way obtrusive. Thankyou for making an unwelcome but eventually inevitable event, a pleasant memory.

The staff were kind and considerate. At a difficult time, the fact that the staff were always on hand to assist helped with the decision-making and planning. The venue was ideal for the memorial service and there was no pressure on time.

Extremely disappointed in the service given
We had to visit several times and email information ourselves and forms were still missing up to 3 working days before the cremation. There was a concern the service wouldn’t be able to go ahead if the forms were not complete and in their hands. We expected everything to be signed in that one visit, we did not expect to be the ones chasing forms. It was very stressful for us at a time we should have been able to grieve and rely on everything to be sorted for us which it absolutely was not.

Everyone involved was lovely and very…
Everyone involved was lovely and very respectful. All the arrangements were made easy and this meant that we were able to celebrate mum's life in a relaxed, dignified and peaceful way. I felt that our wishes were listened to at all stages, which meant that we were able to plan the funeral that we wanted, rather than being forced to conform to tradition. The venue is comfortable and the grounds were very pleasant, and we were blessed with a beautiful day.

A dignified experience worthy of my 5 stars rating
From the moment we entered the building we were treated with respect and compassion by the staff.
We were met by Katie who helped guide us with the arrangements for our Son's funeral. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, Katie honed it into a very nice service that, on the day, was handled smoothly and professionally.

Aunt Gwen`s funeral.
Robert was very understanding and patient. Did not mind repeating how things work. The funeral itself went off smoothly and with due respect. Everything we asked for was put in place. Altogether a good experience at a difficult time.

Everything was fine except for serious errors on the proof for the order of service, which should have been picked up before it was sent to me. It appeared that no proofreading had taken place. Otherwise, as I say, everything went very smoothly, and we were very happy with the funeral itself on the day

Seven years and still waiting for a tree
I have been waiting SEVEN YEARS to get a tree planted for my father after the first one died. I have had constant promises that the situation would be remedied and they have done absolutely NOTHING about correcting their incompetence. Very upsetting. I would avoid - no respect or care shown and extremely poor communications.
