Chest model: poor durability and construction
I asked for the challenge coin Chest display for Christmas, but my father mistakenly purchased a smaller model. When I inquired with Holme & Hadfield about exchanging them in a way without alerting my dad, so as not to embarrass him, I received a non-answer.
I then ended up buying the Chest model on my own. The acrylic piece arrived damaged, so I took photos, sent them to Holme & Hadfield, and asked for a replacement Chest.
But a new acrylic piece arrived, not a replacement of the entire item. I found that this acrylic piece was too small to fit on top of the wood—upon trying to slide the acrylic on, it scratched the wood, and then broke. I have photos of this, too.
I am extremely disappointed with the durability and construction of the Chest model, and cannot honestly say I would recommend it to anyone.

First class, high quality, beautiful
I purchased a knife display case for my husband. I was skeptical about the quality however, my skepticism immediately went away when the case arrived. From the packaging to the product...first class, high quality, and beautiful. I will absolutely shop with Holmes and Hatfield again. Thank you.
Ordered a watch case weeks before…
Ordered a watch case weeks before Christmas that I requested personalization for as a special gift for my husband. The case arrived promptly, but with no personalization. I inquired with the company whom assured me they would send out the personalization padding right away, but did not receive by Christmas, even though I emailed multiple times. The customer service team ended conversation with me on December 4th and wasn't able to get them to respond till after Christmas. When the padding finally did arrive, it was personalized with the Holme and Hadfield name. I am now being told the personalization department has been disabled and that they are unsure when it will be enabled again. Extremely disappointing for a watch case that is admittedly stunningly beautiful, but the customer service is poor.
Inept customer service, untruthful & unresponsive
I ordered the Legacy watch display case as a Christmas gift. A few days after it arrived a duplicate shipment arrived. Shortly after that Holme & Hadfield contacted me & said that due to a computer error some orders had been double shipped. They included a link to a FedX return label & said a gift card would be sent for my troubles. When I asked how would I know when FedX would be coming to pick it up I was told that"unfortunately we are not able to arrange for pickup at this time" & that I would have to find a FedX store & take it there! The box weights 30lbs & is 18" x 30". I told them several times I did not feel this was right but they refused to help at all. I finally got tired of it sitting here & made the arrangements myself. I never received a gift card & never heard from them after it was returned. This is some of the worst "customer service" I have ever experienced.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I placed an order for the Armada Knife Display Case on December 1, 2025 after seeing their advertizement on Facebook. Payment was issued for the display box, a riser for the same, personalization, and extra knife stands. As we approached Christmas and no delivery or any update I tried to locate a phone number for their customer service department and nowhere is it listed. Only thing you can do is send an email and await a reponse. Still no response and second email was sent. Finally got a response that it had shipped. Then got a notice they were refunding personalization as it could not be done. Still no box or shipping information so more emails sent and several days before a reply. Did finally get the boz but no riser or knife stands. Seems they were inundated with orders which is no surprise with every click on Facebook their ads appear. They cannot fulfill their orders yet they continue to advertise. The knife box is nice but only heaven knows when the rest of it may be received. Very poor Customer Service and poor planning on their part. Fulfill placed orders and not keep adverising especially since they have my money up front. Once I get the items ordered I will never buy from them again. Plus the owners sent a request for review of their product to include the items STILL not received. The email with it said use review button to communicate with them but no surprise-THERE IS NO REVIEW BUTTON. ****BUYER BEWARE****

I have not yet received my order but I will say this, this company is great! I made a foolish error and sent my order to the WRONG address and Holme&Hadfield graciously helped me out by issuing me a full refund and I will be placing my reorder when my item comes back in stock! Im just so happy with the customer service! Very impressed with this company!
The Best Customer Service
The company really cares about there customers even though the Humidor was running very late they kept in contact with me the whole time and when my Humidor was shipped I was very happy the product was way over the top !! Great things are worth waiting for !!!!!
Ghosted
FedEx never received the item which was estimated to arrive on 12/11. It’s 12/18, and I placed the order on 12/5. Holme and Hadfield said they don’t know what happened but would send another one if I send the original order back if and when it gets here. I just saw another review of a similar situation. Since that one reply from them, I’m being ghosted. No idea what’s happening because they never confirmed or answered my follow up questions. I’ve been emailing for days and nothing. Ghosting customers is my experience with no results, no product to speak of, and no actual service provided. Never did the first thing right and is not bothering to try to make it up. I’ll edit my review if they finally get me what I ordered, but I can’t walk back these last few days of zero response.
Package never sent and refund refused
Very misleading reviews here. Merchant refused to respond to emails after claiming package was sent, and forced me to go through the hassle of credit card dispute. We have a tracking number clearly showing package was never sent out of their facility but they refused refund or replacement. Avoid this company at all costs.

Placed and order for Christmas and was told 2-5 day shipping. Over 2 weeks later and no details. Have sent over 20 emails with no response. Many people are frustrated and waiting on order details and the company is not following up but they definitely have our money. This is absolutely ridiculous. But they have time to continue to post and advertise for more orders that they can not fulfill.

Makes me feel important
I have purchased their largest knife and watched collector boxes, and then none recently their jewelry box and also some risers to expand the storage on my original ones. Any issue I’ve ever had. They have taken care of with emailing me back generally in the same day and going above and beyond for me. I will continue to buy their products for the rest of my life gladly show them off to all my family.
Quality Case, Quality Customer Service!
I ordered their Legacy watch case and received it very quickly. Unfortunately, despite their incredible packaging job and through no fault of their own, the case arrived with a lid that had been cracked in transit. They may want to consider shipping the lid separated from the body of the display case in transit (maybe by a layer of foam), as I think the heavy body of the case may shift within the package itself (if shipping is rough) and place stress on the mounted lid, which can lead to cracks.
I reached out to their customer service and Giselle sent me a replacement lid immediately! Her communication was prompt and courteous, and the process of describing the issue and arriving at a resolution was as easy as could be :) I was very impressed with their speedy response.
The case itself is everything I’d hoped for, and I’m looking forward to years of good use. The materials are solid, the design well thought out, and it really ups my watch and EDC storage game.
I hope they make a version like the Legacy in the future which offers EDC storage in BOTH drawers (I personally don’t need the watch storage posts in the top drawer and may remove them) and offers the display posts with options for solid watch posts or their slotted knife posts. But it’s still a great case as is and I’m sure fits the needs of someone who has more watches than I do :)
Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service. My Armory Pro arrived with a broken cover and they immediately shipped me another one. The replacement cover didn't fit, so they immediately shipped another. Unfortunately, that didn't fit either, so they offered a free return and credit of the unit.
I was impressed with the appearance of the Armory and realized it wasn't big enough, so I used the refund to order an Armada. That arrived intact, and is beautiful.
The customer service is top-notch. The quality of the wood in both was impressive. I would give them a 5-star for both, but to be fair, I need to subtract a star for the quality control over the two mis-fitting covers.
