Beware the need for returns. Ordered a clothes horse via amazon. Too big for the intended space. The company want the large package transported to a post office and posted back to them, all at my expense.

Super job. Could not ask for better advice.

Ordered a used laptop which was advertised as Grade A condition.

The item arrived quicker than expected, which was a bonus [hence the one star instead of none].

The laptop was heavily scratched - more like Grade B condition in my opinion. The laptop was missing its operating software and therefore it would not boot up!! The lad who took my call was unapologetic and very matter of fact about the next steps. When asked if they could send a replacement - the answer was "No".

All very frustrating and time consuming. I'm still waiting for the return of the laptop. It's been over a week now since I ordered the laptop and there's no sign of matters ending soon :(

I was very wary when ordering my tablet as the price was so much less than anywhere else. I was informed over the telephone that this item was new but box had been opened and re-sealed. Delivery was so quick - it arrived next day. Unfortunately there were no instructions in box and as I am a "silver surfer" hadn't a clue what to do to get the tablet working. Luckily my 8 year old Grandson came to the rescue and had it up and running in 5 mins. and everything is working well. I am very pleased with this item and enjoying "playing" with it. I would recommend your site to anyone. Thankyou.

I bought an iPod classic for my boyfriend as a Christmas present in November. I turned it on after I received it and it seemed to work fine so put it back in its box and wrapped it up ready for Christmas. I give it to him and we found it wouldn't charge! Unfortunately I missed the 30 day warranty due to not finding out until Christmas that I had been given a faulty iPod. Really really disappointed! I emailed them with strong hope that they would have some Christmas spirit and get it fixed for me as it was them who sent the item faulty in the first place. But no such luck!
I now have to pay them even more money to fix it for me!!

However I cannot fault them on their delivery speed and communication.

UPDATE: just heard from them after sending it off - they said there was a mistake with my account and are refunding me the money I've paid to have it looked at! Brilliant!

Will update again once I have it back!

Was told that my order had been cancelled on the online message service. I was really, really impressed by the service and even reviewed it as excellent. I was expecting a refund on a product I wrongly ordered. How wrong could I be. The refund didn't arrive but the product did 6 days later, left by 'Hermes' outside, on the floor by the kitchen door in atrocious weather...£114 product left outside! I emailed Home and Garden as it appears nobody works weekends. Am awaiting a reply but now have to go into the process of returning the item. The very thing I was trying to avoid when I contacted them so quickly after realising my mistake and which appeared to have been dealt with so efficiently...makes you wonder given that they still have my £114 and I have to wait until they receive it after I return it...during the Xmas delivery period...

this product was sold with a "damaged" packet and was therefore quite a bargain - but it worked very well and came very quickly - so the "damage" was superficial. Very pleased that the company didn't just chuck the product but sold it on to me! Highly sustainable!
