Treated myself to a new dress for my dad’s wedding, I ordered Sunday late pm and it arrived Wednesday, and delivery was a good price.
Dress was true to size and I got compliments all day.

Most impressive was the customer service, friendly, quick response and very helpful.

Will definitely order another dress again.

Shocking customer service, returned a dress by mistake back to them direct instead of asos , they said they couldn’t find the parcel even though I had a Royal Mail tracking receipt to say they had received the item, emailed them on numerous occasions to try and sort it out with no joy and still had to pay £90 to asos for the dress that they got delivered to there warehouse

Really helpful customer services department today. Great to be acknowledged and listened to. Very kind, understanding and supportive with my issues. Dealt with quickly and kindly.
I love Hope and Ivy’s cotton dresses and always get compliments when wearing them. Their vibrant colours and flattering shape, never fail to make me feel great! Easy to launder and good quality cotton means that they can be hung up to dry and don’t need to be ironed either! Win win all round!

The Julia is a really beautiful dress. I ordered the wrong size by mistake for a wedding. A very helpful customer service lady tracked my new order and made sure it was sent out immediately and then made sure the refund was processed asap. The correct size arrived in time. It was true to size, fitted perfectly. Lovely length(I’m a size 14 and 5’7” ) A very hot day but the dress was cool and comfortable. Lots of compliments. It was well made and lined throughout. Neck wasn’t too low and the sleeves allowed plenty of air circulation. No hesitation in recommending.

The first dress I ordered was lovely, just too low and too much fabric in the bust area and far too revealing. I'm still waiting for a refund 10 days after the returned item received back at their depot.
I should have trusted my instinct and not ordered from Hope and Ivy again but the customer service lady seems professional and explained there was no automated communication due to it being a small company.
So I was tempted by another dress with embroidery. Again it didn't fit so it had to be returned. Even if it had fitted the quality of material did look a bit cheap. Beautuful design and embroidery. Lets see if I get more luck with this return.
If tempted again I would order Hope and Ivy through John Lewis who are very reliable but I'll probably stick to brands like Boden, Whistles and Aspiga with excellent customer service.
Hope and Ivy need to realise how they manage returns will have a big impact on their future and negative reviews will impact on future sales.
I just wonder if they are in financial difficulty

I am actually sorry that I have to write a negative review since I absolutely love Hope & Ivy dresses and own several. However, this time the purchase didn’t go as smoothly as usual. The dress I have ordered and paid for has not been delivered. The shipping company claims it has but it has certainly not been delivered to me. I have signed all the documents needed for H&I to look into the matter! The customer service employee has been extremely nice but not helpful in any way and I am stuck here with no dress and no refund. Simply unacceptable 😥🤯

A special thank you to Bettina, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and understanding throughout the whole process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt listened to and supported.

The quality of the dresses is also absolutely incredible. They are beautifully made, with stunning details and such a lovely attention to quality. I was already a fan of Hope & Ivy’s beautiful designs, but this experience has definitely made me a loyal customer.

Extremely disappointed with the service provided! Ordered a dress it arrived and did not suit me, I’ve attempted to return via Royal Mail and it’s been returned back to me with no explanation. I can’t get hold of anyone to get a refund and also to return the item! Would not recommend this brand!

Oh my goodness, the dress I ordered is absolutely gorgeous and fits like a dream - it's even prettier than the photos and the colours are beautiful. It's good quality fabric, lined, with nice detailing and shipping was refreshingly quick. In a world of badly made imports that take weeks to come with clothing that is non-standard sizing and ill fitting, Hope & Ivy is a breath of fresh air. I think this dress is great value for money.

I ordered 4 dresses which were beautiful but unfortunately didn’t suit me so I returned them. The returns process has been extremely slow and disappointing, it’s been over 2 weeks and I still haven’t received my refund. Customer services respond quickly but it still hasn’t resulted in me receiving my money! It has put me off shopping with Hope & Ivy again!

I ordered 2 dresses in different sizes to see which one was the best fit. I have sent 1 dress back and haven’t received any acknowledgment of my return and no refund so I’m wondering if it’s been received ? Very poor communication from Hope & Ivy which would put me off ordering from them again

The dress is lovely but the material is very flimsy and cheap. Not worth the money. Turned up on time though

Got three dresses now and I love them! So well designed and the sizing is spot on. Was a bit worried when I couldn’t find my most recent package in my building mailroom. Emailed and got a really speedy response from Bettina who contacted Royal Mail on my behalf. Turned out the package was just hiding under a shelf!

I ordered a dress from Hope & Ivy and the original one delivered was in the wrong size. I contacted customer service and they were fantastic (Bettina). I had organised a return and let them know about the error and then I went to order a replacement I was dissapointed as there were none left in stock. But Bettina came to the rescue and found one and shipped it to me, it was with me within 24 hours and fit like a glove. The dress was great quality and just beautiful. I would have every confidence shopping with them again as I know that if on the off chance there was an issue it would get resolved immediately.

I just wanted to say thank you to Hope & Ivy for creating such beautiful dresses. Hope and Ivy has been my go-to brand for some time now and not just because the dresses are gorgeous but also because they are so comfortable. I always receive so many compliments when wearing one of their dresses. I genuinely feel they have a dress for any occasion and the customer service has always been fantastic too. Thank you for consistently creating such stunning designs that make women feel confident, comfortable and so elegant. Highly recommend!

Hope and Ivy take lovely photos of their dresses however the reality is very different. All their dresses are made of polyester. When they asking for £80+ for their garments I'd say that is very steep for something that isn't a natural material/cotton. I sent my wedding guest dress back. Not worth the money spent to look so cheap.

I ordered two Hope and Ivy dresses. One direct and one via the John Lewis website. I am very pleased with both dresses. Lovely fit and great colours. I had a couple of queries which were dealt with very promptly by Bettina in the Customer Service team.

The most amazing experience from the Hope and Ivy team - they sent me a dress for my grans funeral and made sure it would arrive in time. Cannot fault their service and the dress was lovely and everyone commented how much my gran would’ve loved it. A million thanks - brilliant service and dress

I made two separate purchases 28th &29th of April, 2 dresses in one order , and a separate order of 1 dress (back in stock ) the next day . Orders arrived May6th , sadly the fit did not suit me,so looked at how to start the returns process . It was not easy , I’d followed website instructions & could not easily locate QR downloadable codes easily for return - I reached out to Hope & Ivy for advice , on returns process . Zen Desk eventually put me in touch with Bettina , who explained that the instructions I had followed via website did not apply to UK order codes 🤦‍♀️…
We got there eventually -I downloaded printable labels from Royal
Mail as advised by Bettina & posted returns off 11th May . No acknowledgement from Hope & Ivy , messaged Bettina again to check parcels hard arrived & copied over 2x Post Office scannable receipts . They have my returns since 13 May and acknowledgement , NO sign of REFUND yet . They seem to be slow judging by other comments .
Not prepared to reorder until REFUND is returned .
