I got in touch with Horologica to see if he could repair the clock, as it has sentimental value and memories. He was very polite and sent me his address. I posted it off to him. He emailed me to say that it was ready. I paid him and received it back all within about week. Now the clock is ticking away..
I would highly recommend Horologica.

When the face on my Moorcroft clock feel out of it's mounting and smashed on the floor, thankfully the clock still worked, but the shattered glass made it look a very sorry state. Moorcroft directed me to Gordon who managed to source an older glass face and replace. He is very efficient, trustworthy and knows his stuff. Gordon has again provided excellent support and has given invaluable pointers - and supplied parts - to enable me to, at least, get my clock ticking although he's advised that it probably needs some additional tlc.

Gordon dismantled, inspected, re-assembled and lubricated my eight-day ship's bells clock. The work was carried out at short notice and completed quickly at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended!

Had a barometer, with sentimental value, that had long stopped working. Gordon cleaned it and made it work again, quickly and with excellent communication. I always felt the barometer was in safe hands. Would recommend highly.

We were delighted by the very quick response to our enquiry regarding our barometer. It had not been in working order for some years. I had a Smiths Mantel Clock that had been handed down to me from my grandparents that kept stopping and that had never, to my knowledge, been serviced. Gordon was able to do all that was necessary to give it a new lease of life. He was very knowledgeable, had all the skills required, and obviously cares about the work he does. I now know far more about the clock itself then I have ever done. Very happy to recommend.

I never write reviews generally but in this instance I feel I must. The service from start to finish was first class. The clock had several issues which were not straightforward. After handing the clock in a received an email the next day explaining to me what had been discovered and the history of the clock in question. Then for two months I was kept up to date on the situation and what was happening. I picked up the clock yesterday and it is now back on display ticking and chiming perfectly. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Like many, I'm sure, I love 'old' clocks but know little about their workings> I have therefof=re used Gordon on a number of occasions for repair and servicing. He is truly BRILLIANT!
