We had a very pleasant stay overall
We had a very pleasant stay overall. The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made us feel truly welcome.
The food was exceptional—honestly even better than what we would expect at a restaurant. It was clearly prepared with care and added a lot to our experience.
There were a couple of minor inconveniences. The heating was turned off during the night, which was unusual for us, as in our country it typically runs all night. However, we understand that this might be a local custom. Also, the accommodation is located quite far from the city, which may not be ideal for everyone.
Despite these small issues, the overall experience was very positive, mainly thanks to the hospitality and the quality of the food. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

We have being dealing with HFDI for about 2 years and have found them to be truly great, we’re kept updated on a regular basis about student activity, arrival and departure times. Most importantly they don’t leave you waiting for weeks for payment, normally paid within a few days.
Would have no problem recommending HFDI.

I am a teacher and our host Fiona in Swords was amazing! She was very friendly and helpful and made us lovely breakfasts and nice picnics. She even provided hot water bottles as we got very cold weather. We hope to go and stay with Fiona and Noel again!

The two interns who were in Dublin for 5 weeks had a great experience, they loved staying with Patricia, a fantastic host in every aspect. The location was also convenient to get to work in the morning.

We are absolutely beaming after reading this. There is honestly no better feeling than knowing one of our students felt incredibly kind vibes and was made to feel completely at home from day one.
It sounds like Daniela and her family created that perfect warm, supportive atmosphere where even the simple "everyday moments" became special memories. This is exactly what the HFDI experience is all about!

Constant support
During our stay in Ireland we have been constantly supported by the organization! Lorraine has been really helpful and always ready tu fulfill our needs and requirements. She has always managed to solve happily and quickly all the issues that aroused, both the little ones and the serious ones. We would like to thank all the hosting families: they were so lovely and our students are really enthusiastic about the experience, and looking forward for their next one!

Enjoyable hosting experience
We have really enjoyed hosting with HFDI, they are efficient and everything runs so smoothly, Paulina and Tunde are lovely to deal with, and quick to respond. Drop offs and pickup are smooth.
