Host review
Have been hosting with HFDI for a few yrs now. They're probably one of the best to work with and I've hosted for lots of different agencies. There's always someone at the other end of the phone to deal with any issues you may have. Very easy to deal with. No hassle with payments. The students are from all over. We've had lovely girls stay with us. It's great seeing their thank you notes after they leave. If you're think of hosting I'd recommend HDFI 💯 %.

Becoming a host family has been such a wonderful experience. Our goal is to give the students and teachers who stay with us something meaningful — an experience they’ll always remember.
When I was a student myself, I was lucky to have an incredible host family who became my family. Decades later, over 30 years on, we’re still close, and I carry those memories with deep joy and gratitude.
Life moves fast, and it’s the moments we share — the laughter around the table, the kindness, the little connections — that stay with us. Hosting gives us a chance to create those memories, the kind that will be told to our children, and maybe one day, to theirs too.

Working with HFDI is always a lovely…
Working with HFDI is always a lovely experience. The students we've shared our home with have been lovely and polite, the What's App groups are brilliant for booking. The facilitators are fantastic and always there when needed. I find the experience with all our hosting bookings a very stress free experience with the facilitators always there when needed and information always sent and confirmed effortlessly.

We enjoy hosting you students so much and have kept in contact with many of them over the last 6 years. Italian students in Ireland
I work with schools in central Italy, and we have been sending students for a trimester abroad for several years. I've been working with HFDI for 3 years now, and I wouldn't look for another partner in Ireland. They have been able to manage all our requests, even the impossible ones, and solved all the problems that have arisen. A special thanks goes to Tunde, who is taking things to another level for us this year and suggesting clever changes in our preparation procedures to prevent problems. I'm sure this collaboration will last and that each year we will get better results.

Excellent Experience as a Host Family!
We’ve been hosting students through Host Family Dublin for just over a year now, and it has been such a positive and rewarding experience. The team is incredibly attentive and supportive, always available if we have any questions or need assistance. Communication is excellent — they’re easy to reach and genuinely care about both hosts and students.
We’ve been very impressed with how well they match students to families, taking into account personalities, preferences, and household dynamics. Every student we’ve hosted has been a great fit, which really shows how much thought and effort the team puts into their placements. Overall, it’s been a smooth and enjoyable partnership.
