We used Hudson back in December/January to assist with a bid. As part of the bid we were required to submit a Carbon Reduction plan which we didn't have. They quoted us for both a 800 character summary (which was compliant for the bid Hudson were working on for us) or a Full PPN 06/21 Compliant Carbon Reduction Plan so that we could use this on future NHS/Government tenders. We opted to go ahead for the Full PPN 06/21.
6 months on we have now come to submit a tender for the NHS only to find out that the carbon reduction plan they produced for us doesn't meet the requirements.
I contacted Hudson to try and rectify the issue however my emails were continuously ignored so I'd have to phone to chase for any outcome. Due to time constraints we had to approach another company to produce a compliant Carbon Reduction Plan therefore we just asked to receive our money back for the plan they sold us that didn't meet the requirements. We were repeatedly asked for the NHS’s feedback to say it wasn’t compliant however as I’d explained several times, we didn’t have that feedback as we weren’t prepared to submit a tender with inadequate documentation. It has taken over 2 weeks for them to admit the document doesn’t meet the requirements but keep using the fact that our tender submission was successful as a get out. They are refusing to reimburse us for the Carbon Reduction Plan and offered “not to charge us” for making the amendments to get it to the required standard. We have no confidence in Hudson making the necessary edits, the fact that we’ve had to point out on several occasions what was missing on the plan only cements the fact they have no idea what they are doing.
The failure to acknowledge their error, demonstrates a significant lack of professionalism. Dealing with this company has been a significant waste of time and an incredibly inefficient process, I strongly recommend caution to potential customers considering Hudson’s services.

In a million years I will still work with hudson Outsourcing Ltd. The team are great and very sport on.

Dear god whatever you do, do not choose this company for your tender writing. They have a call with you and act like they have all the experience and have the right words to say. However they were like a ticking bomb for two of our tenders. The reasons we didn't win the tenders where we had worked for many years was purely down to the tender writing. They had not even answered basic questions which immediately disqualified us and the answers wrote for the questions asked were basic and not relevant. The staff who work for them write their own reviews on glass door which clearly shows what they are as an employer. If you don't want to lose your companies work by using this company then stay away. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. Also positive reviews on trustpilot is trainings they offer where they then get people to leave them a review. Hudson you should be ashamed to run a business like this where you are ruining organisations.

Very bad company , we received the lowest score I ever seen , they are unprofessional and cost a lot , I got better scoring with the one I wrote with someone from people per hours and it's costed much less , super disappointed and would never use them again.. no refund and no response after I complained just taking a money

Shameless company sending emails and texts with many offers to their victim again. They will not do anything after collecting the money. Worst experience ever, please avoid this scammers.

Hudson did a great job on a quick turnaround. Their work was excellent. We thought we did a good job with our writing but they took it to another level. Highly recommend their service.

We where very new to outsourcing bids and these guys really made the process simple for us in addition to the ability for you as a business to take ownership of how you would want to be viewed by people reviewing your bid! Not to mention the deadline was only a week away and they still helped us.

This team took the time to learn our business and understood the needs with putting together a professional and well written RFP response. The team was easy to work with and communication was stellar around the clock to meet the deadline.

We used Research Tenders TM for 12 months. The company were very quick to contact us at the beginning. We did not use any of the tenders that were sourced by Research Tenders TM, so we decided to end our subscription after the agreed period. Our online account was never updated by the company with the details so we were unable to cancel online. We then noticed that £312 was taken out of our bank account as a renewal fee. This was done without any communication with us or prior notifications that the renewal was due. After contacting Research Tenders TM through their online form asking for either a refund or for our membership to be cancellled after the new 12-month period which was now paid for (we were ready to accept that we did not get in touch with them early enough to cancel), we heard nothing. We then used their online chat, where an employee told us that a senior manager will be in touch to resolve the issue. We heard nothing. We then called the office three times. Another employee told us that our membership was cancelled, as requested in the online form and a refund should have come through. This was a month after the money was taken and the initial communication sent by us. This was then followed by two more phone calls, initiated by us, to chase the refund. Every time we were told that they will get in touch with us. The money was taken in November 2023, we are now in January 2024 and we still have not had the refund. Our access to the service was also removed, after the first employee cancelled our membership so for two months now, we are out of pocket and with no access to any services. There is no one named contact looking after the issue. It's completely unprofessional and I would not only not recommend but encourage organisations, especially ones which are small, as we are, to avoid Hudson Outsourcing/Research Tenders TM.

Update 29/01/2024
After another two phone calls, an email and online chat, we have been informed that we will not be receiving a refund (as we did not cancel the membership in time in line with their T&Cs), but our access to the service has been reinstated for the period of time that we paid for. We received a verbal apology but nothing else has really been acknowledged. All of the communications were again started by us (including a member of staff leaving the online chat with us before we even started a conversation). Our opinion of the company stays the same.

I needed a bid writer in 2020 and working with John Hudson and his staff was a really positive experience which took any stress out of the bid writing process. I am very disappointed. You wrote my tender and failed to submit some information which resulted in my bid not being considered after paying £8000. I have written to three people in your organisation and no one really has looked into it and come back to me. We are small companies out here making things work, and to pay such amount of money for nothing, its hard.
