I believe that Hudson Unique Pickguards is a very special small business. Hudson was extremely friendly from the get-go, sending me templates to ensure the pickguard would fit my particular Jazzmaster, and guiding me through what he could do to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered a gold relic pickguard for my Telecaster, which had a middle pickup, Nashville style. Everything was great, I got the sizes of this new pickguard made it exactly as my old one. The communication with Hudson valley was very easy and satisfying. And the pickguard looks incredible, my guitar looks much better now. I recommend it 200%.

I got in touch with Hudson to make me a custom pickguard for my telecaster. He immediately sent me some great ideas, and was very responsive to the other ideas I had. He finished the work quickly and sent me pictures and even let me ask for a small change before he sent it out. Craftsmanship of this quality is rare and Hudson is truly an artist! First of all, he was the ONLY one who responded when I asked a bunch of custom pickguard makers if they make a left-handed one. He sent a template to make sure the pickguard would fit, then he made one for me that was exactly what I had mind. It fits the guitar better than the original and adds a whole new vibe to the instrument. He and I do not live on the same continent, yet he was able to make me exactly what I wanted after only a few short messages.
