Fabulous service and great staff! All round outstanding operation.

The team were extremely helpful in answering my questions and were very clear about costs appropriate to my needs, asking for a photo of amount requiring destruction.

protocol for sending material for destruction to them was so easy, enabling me to make appropriate arrangements.

I have recently used hungry shredder to dispose of my highly confidential waste. I have given five stars because 1) There is a human at the end of the email or phone who will assist with your queries and answer questions or explain the service. No bots, no generic replies.
2) The service is excellent. Polite respectful and helpful. I did ask a few questions. I never felt that my questions were unreasonable.
3) They provide solutions to problems. I did not order enough bags. Instead of forcing me to make another order and increasing their profits with a standard ' thats the contractual terms' they sent me more bags at standard cost, saving me from increased collection costs.
4) The collection was at a time to suit me, with good warning.
5) The collection was human and friendly. Respectful. I could see that they were taking care with my confidential documents. Each bag was taken to the transport one by one, logged in and ticked off. Checking the bag number with the list. They took their time to take care of my confidential documents. I could see that this task was done with care. If the documents were not taken care of all the good service in the world would not make up for a data leak or GDPR prosecution.
6) The disposal was professional and I received a certificate of disposal for my bags.
7) I have received no junk emails whilst or after using this service. This is almost unheard of. They do not ask if they can contact you and they do not contact you. No ' are you hungry for more shredding' no ' how did your driver do' no calls, it is such a breath of fresh air not to be bothered by a company with mailings during or after use.
7) All in all a highly human professional service that obtained my trust and loyalty. I highly recommend. So respectful and professional. If I could give a 5 Star Plus I would. You can trust this company with your data and to treat you professionally.

I was recommended to use The Hungry Shredder by a friend who had recently used this company. I requested a total of 12 sacks which were sent via Royal Mail, and which arrived two days later.

I was advised by Terry at the company that the price includes one pick up, but if not using all sacks in one go, a further pick up could be arranged for an additional £20 within one year from date of order. I found this quite reasonable, and in fact only used 8 sacks initially, so I now have about 11 months to fill the remaining sacks and arrange a second pick up.

I am very pleased with the quick response, and would be happy to recommend this friendly company to others.

My experience from start to finish has been excellent. Ordering the shredding bags was very easy and they arrived promptly. Booking the bag collection was also easy and I was contacted after a short time with a collection date. The person who collected the bags was very pleasant and advised that I would receive an email to confirm the shredding had been done. I was impressed to receive the email confirmation on the evening of the collection day. I would definitely use this Company again and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I’m changing my review (from the one-star, terrible experience previously given) as the company was swiftly in touch to apologise and talk things through. I’d had no delivery of bags before moving house (several days after ordering) and no response to an email chasing them up. However, the gentleman who called regarding my review was excellent and apologised profusely. He arranged for one of their couriers to come to the new address ASAP and said there was no sign of the email (strange but fair enough). The original bags then turned up at the new address too - thanks to mail forwarding - which meant they’d taken over a week but I was assured they normally arrive quickly and the company takes customer service seriously.

Very easy to book bags which you can take your time to fill as you ring them when you are ready to have them collected. Collection was easy to book and they turned up on time. Very good service if you are doing a home clear out.

A brilliant service!
Due to moving house, them moving my mum into care and selling her home, I have huge amounts of documents that needed shredding. To be able to throw them into the bags, have them collected ftom my door and securely shredded is a huge weight lifted. Easy to use, and an excellent friendly service.
