Had an issue with a missed collection. Emailed Shred-it and was answered promptly by Louise Preston.
She confirmed what the issue had been, automatically raised a credit and asked if I required a visit before my next scheduled one.
The whole process was simple, quickly rectified and without fuss. Excellent customer service all round.

Anessa, went above and beyond to bring the scheduled service forward and changed it to an early morning visit as we had a very import external Audit.

On the scheduled collection date, your driver did not complete the collection, stating that they could not find our premises. However, no reasonable attempt was made to contact us by telephone for directions or assistance, despite the fact that we could have easily directed the driver to the correct location.

We were subsequently informed that Shred-it would not return to collect the waste, yet we have been charged the full amount for the service. We have now also received a debt collection letter regarding the outstanding amount.

We consider this unacceptable. The service we were charged for was not provided, and we do not accept liability for the charge where the failure to complete the collection was due to Shred-it's inability to locate the premises and failure to contact us for directions.

Couldnt organise a p up in a brewery, took them a whole month to get a date sorted for my collection, but that was only after i rang them and had a go about there lack of customer service, then to have a girl giggling down the phone line whilst im already irate with them, wont be seeing me again

Organised a collection for all our confidential waste and removal of the bins on our final day at the office as moving out and handing keys back to the landlord. Shred-It visited the office the day before the organised date whilst nobody was in the office and then when contacted would not come out on the following previously agreed day citing broken down vans. Completely disorganised and unhelpful service after using the company for a number of years it feels like because we are ending the contract, we are not worth it. All of our moving out business with other contractors went well, just not Shred-it and on that basis I would not recommend using them

I found the lady that I spoke to today in customer service really helpful, she went above and beyond to change the date for me to make it more convenient for me and I appreciated that so much.

We recently contacted Shred-it Customer Service after our last two collections were delayed. The team apologised for the miscommunication, provided us with an updated collection schedule, and officially apologised while also offering a complimentary service to compensate for the inconvenience.
