Impressively prompt as well as generous handling of complaint following initial delay in delivery. Admin team were presumably stretched over Christmas period when delay occurred and may need more resourcing at busy times.

Joe the MD got in touch ,explained the supplier problems he was having and solved the problem .
Along the way he kept me informed.
Excellent leadership and will use them again.

I've ordered from Ideal on multiple occasions over the past few years. They offer a large selection of wines from different regions and price ranges. When I've inquired about specific vintages, the team have provided recommendations tailored to my preferences. I haven't felt pushed towards more expensive options if I was looking for something more affordable. The wines I've purchased have consistently arrived intact (which is important!! :) ) and on time. Overall, my experiences with Ideal have been positive. I'll likely continue ordering from them, and a few members from my wine club have mentioned they're looking into them now too.

Ideal Wine received and confirmed my order on 15/10/2023.
I emailed them on 25/10/2023 to enquire about the status of my order.

I started buying fine wines this year and have recieved an excellent service from Dan and his team. I've been provided with indepth knowledge from Dan himself and the provided documentation, which has been invaluable to someone who is starting out in fine wine investment. The transactions have been easy and I'v e been made confortable even if I'm not ready to buy the wine that has been offered at that time. I have been dealing with Ideal Wine Company for a number of years, all the personnel that I have spoken to, and had contact with, have always been very helpful. The company seem to be fully aware of what is happening within the wine market - 'World Wide'. I also have had privilege to be visited at home by the Managing Director of Ideal Wines, a very knowledgeable and down to earth person, we got on very well and he was very interested hearing about the 20 years l worked in wine and soft drinks Industry. For the last three years I have be updated regularly by Andrew Humphrey, providing how the various high premium wines are performing in the market and have invested in some interesting wines over the years. The Customer Service of Ideal Wine Company has been excellent, and no doubt will continue following the wine trends and continue investing when I feel it is the right time.

I have been collecting wine for 8 years plus and I was contacted by Damien at Ideal Wine in connection with information about a wine in Classe B, which was rumored, would be promoted to Classe A. This got my attention and I bought a case. This is where my journey with Ideal Wine began. Harry Downer was appointed to look after my portfolio and we have worked together for over a year to build this into something I am extremely pleased with. Harry and I have become good friends and working with the whole team I am impressed with their passion for wine and understanding of the wine market which is essential when you want to stay ahead of the game. All Staff are friendly and professional and I would recommend them to anyone thinking about investing in wine. (the wine mentioned was subsequently promoted to Classe A which was great news for my investment).

I am certainly not a wine expert but looked to invest in wine rather than the stock market. Trading with the Ideal Wine Company since May 2020. There Stephen Sharpe has helped me build up a nice balanced stock of wines since then. I would recommend the Ideal Wine company for any one looking to do this.

I rang the company before ordering my bottle of wine for a hopeful Xmas delivery. I spoke to a gentleman who informed me that there is normally a 2-4 week lead time on all wines. After speaking to him on the phone I received an email with tasting notes on my purchase and an expected delivery date before Christmas.

Ideal Wine Company have turned up some very fine wines at reasonable prices (frequently the lowest on winesearcher). Their staff have always been helpful and true to their word and they store their wines in high quality industry reserve facilities (which makes transfers smooth).

When buying wine in bond, and more importably, "en primeur" it's very important to tread carefully. This is one company I would definitely recommend.

The date given represents my most recent purchase. There have been several others to date. All without a hitch!
