Elite Wine and Whisky Opiniões

I've been investing for a few years and finally managed to get up to Edinburgh to visit the warehouse - wish I'd gone earlier! Great day, organised really well and got to taste a wee dram from one of my own casks. Thoroughly professional from start to finish and reflective of the impressive way Elite carry out their business.

From my first enquiry to purchasing stock has been a no pressure and easy process
Naturally , as we all do , I did research before choosing this broker and I’m very happy with my choice
Everyone I’ve dealt with so far has been superb
Just attended the Bonded warehouse event in Edinburgh and the team and other investors
Very informative and great fun too

I was initially contacted by oliver from Elite wine and Whiskey I found him to be a very polite and knowledgeable chap and not at all pushy with no pressure to purchase , after some research and thought I I decided to make an investment of a cask with them ,
I then had the added support from Maisie Keller from Administration as I was experiencing difficulty logging into my new account she also posted to me a paperwork copy of my certificate of title , then after all that was sorted I was contacted by Luke gaskin we talked about time frames and goals Luke says he will keep me updated with any changes or early selling opportunities.
Hopefully the investment will grow over time ,
I would highly recommend this company if your thinking of dipping your toe .

Unwanted call, never dealt with them before.

Have asked them to stop contacting me maybe a dozen times at this point - still get weekly (or more regular) calls from them.

Before writing this review, I had a good think and realised that the only person I have had extensive dealings with at EWW is Harry. It was Harry that sold me the investment and Harry who sold it.

However, it’s true to say that Harry has been a great advocate for EWW, very polite and always helpful, and above all else, honest and realistic.

Could not fault his services as my liaison with EWW.

I’m sure there are others at EWW who are just as good, but Harry gets my vote!

Thank you Harry, 👍

I had to sell one of my casks much earlier than originally planned due to perosnal circumstances. Luke Gaskin was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. He took care of every detail and made everything happen quickly and seamlessly, taking a lot of the stress away.

I can't recommend Luke highly enough for his expertise, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. I look forward to purchasing another cask through Elite Wine & Whisky in the near future.

I am a cask owner and have been for 3 years. During a conversation with Harry, he suggested that he could arrange to draw 6 bottles from my cask to celebrate my daughter's wedding. I thought this was a fantastic idea. Harry and the team designed a label to mark the occasion which was just perfect. The bottles arrived in good time for the day and they looked first class. They were given as gifts to the groom and best man etc. They really helped to make the day. I would like to express true heartfelt thanks to Harry and all involved in creating the bottles and suggesting it as a novel edition to my Daughter's special day.

Great company, very knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is considering purchasing whisky.

I have recently had an excellent experience Elite Wine and Whisky. I am new to investing in the cask whisky market and Thomas Johnson very carefully guided me through the process. The eventual trade exceeded what we thought was initially possible. I had excellent communication throughout the process and was treated with complete professionalism.

I am happy to recommend Elite Wine & Whisky as a reliable and genuine company in this field , goodness knows there are many unscrupulous companies out there and anyone thinking of investing in whisky needs to tread very carefully indeed when selecting a company to broker for you

I do a lot of research before I invest and am naturally cynical and even though I have been with Elite now for 3 years I was keen to see if there was a 360 degree service (i.e. buying and also successfully selling with a good return)

It is therefore with much relief and reignited enthusiasm that I am able to report that recently Harry was able to successfully sell one of my casks at a good return.

It is a challenging environment out there at the moment, but given this recent reassurance in the whole process I will be happy to continue investing with Elite.

I have had a great service from Elite Wine and Whisky. Clarity and professionalism throughout. Having been new to cask whisky investment, Thomas Johnson explained the process very clearly and reassured me that they were the right company to invest with. This was proven recently with Thomas fetching good returns on my investment, considering current market conditions.

After some initial struggles with selling my casks and getting a grasp of the current whisky market, Thomas Johnson helped to navigate me through what's been a challenging time in the whisky domain in general. He helped to alleviate my concerns and build trust in the team at Elite Wine & Whisky. Both Thomas and Steve have been a huge help.

I have a few barrels of whisky with Elite Wine and whisky and i deal with a salesman call Thomas Johnson , he guilds me to the right whisky to buy , i will buy more barrels through Thomas as he keeps me up to date what's on the market. Well Done Thomas keep the fantastic work up.

Good sale for new brands wine and whisky in from market best prices.

Having dealt with Elite since 2021, I visited the bond in Edinburgh in early May. It was fantastic to be able to not only see my investments but actually have a tasting and meet up with all of the Elite staff. We were treated like royalty and I would thoroughly recommend them if you wish to make an investment in whisky casks.

Elite Wine & whisky invited my husband George & myself Linda to a whiskey tasting in Edinburgh, first we visited the warehouse where our whisky's casks are stored. We sampled one of our casks , the warehouse staff were absolutely lovely & explained a lot about whiskey, Luke who looks after our portfolio & Sophie it was great putting faces to their names , it was a great day . Nothing was never too much trouble for any of them , & you were never pressured into purchasing anything, I would definitely recommend Elite Whiskey for investments .

Just done a warehouse cask visit with Elite Wine &Whiskyin Edinburgh after investing in January with my first cask and 2nd cask about 3 weeks ago. Excellent visit to view my casks in the warehouse and also got to sample the cask too. Great to meet everyone finally and put faces to names. Also great to meet likewise investors and chat to them too.
The talk at the warehouse gave a fantastic insite In to the way the cask are made and also flavoured and stored. Elite Whisky have bee amazing from start to finish including Luke who looks after my portfolio, sophie and maisie who look after the admin, etc, nick and the rest of the team I meet on the day. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Also no high pressure pushy sales pestering you all the time to buy like some other companies ive come across in this field. An amazing company who make you feel welcome, realxed and part of the family. Would definately recommend Elite Whisky and wine.

Our recent visit to the distillery warehouse in Kirkliston, Edinburgh, with Elite Wine & Whisky was an incredible experience. The tour focused on viewing the warehouse where our own barrels were stored, and we had the rare opportunity to sample whisky straight from both our own casks and some of Elite’s exclusive selections. Tasting whisky at different stages of its aging process was truly fascinating, giving us a deeper appreciation for its development.

A huge thank you to Steve Bishop, the Managing Director, whose passion for whisky made the experience both insightful and enjoyable. Executive Director Nick Greene provided expert knowledge, guiding us through the tasting with interesting details about each cask. Thomas Johnston, Head of Private Trade, was a fantastic host, ensuring everything ran smoothly. And of course, Maisie Keller and Sophie Tipping added a lovely, personable touch, making us feel welcomed from start to finish.

It was also a pleasure meeting other barrel owners who joined us on the visit. Sharing stories and experiences with fellow whisky enthusiasts made the day even more special, adding a sense of community to the experience.

After the warehouse visit, we headed to Cannonball for a wonderful meal. Alongside the fantastic food, we had the opportunity to taste three different types of whisky, each accompanied by expert insights into their profiles and characteristics. It was the perfect way to round off an already exceptional day.

For anyone looking for a first-class whisky experience, Elite Wine & Whisky is the team to go with. Their expertise, professionalism, and warmth make them stand out, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Thomas made the process of selling my cask very easy. We needed a wait of two or three months to ensure that the market was buoyant enough to guarantee me a decent return, but he was able to give clear and helpful advice during the process. The sale itself was incredibly easy; I received the funds into my account the same day that it was agreed. In due course I shall invest with this company again. Professional and reliable service from Thomas throughout.
