I am very disappointed with this app

I am very disappointed with this app. There is no option to check the delivery status. Customer service is not reachable at all. The refund option is also not available in the app.
This is very frustrating and unacceptable. Please fix these issues immediately. I do not recommend using this app.

Unprofessional attitude

The worst experience ever..I was waiting delivery whole day,they keep delaying every 2 hours,customer support don’t help,delivery guys come after 19h,and the delivery was supposed to arrive at 10…Really unproffesional.

The WORST customer experience ever in DUBAI! I ordered a wardrobe with mirror doors and of course the mirror doors arrived completely broken. I never got a date for a new delivery, no one is answering calls or WhatsApp on their ends. If you want a furniture horror story, go for Ikea they’re the worst in Dubai. I couldn’t believe what I heard until I tried them myself. 0 care for the customers, zero communication, incompetent staff.

Extremely Poor Return Policy and Terrible Customer Service

IKEA UAE has one of the worst return and exchange policies I have ever experienced. The customer service is extremely slow, unhelpful, and shows no real interest in assisting customers. There is absolutely no cooperation, no urgency, and no sense of responsibility from the staff. It feels like the customer is the last priority.

What makes this even more frustrating is the huge difference between IKEA UAE and IKEA USA. According to IKEA USA’s official policy, you can return an opened-box item within 180 days as long as it is unused and in good condition. However, in IK
EA UAE, they refuse to accept a return
simply because the box was opened — even if the product was never used at all.

This inconsistency is unacceptable. It shows that IKEA applies different standards from one country to another, which is unfair and disappointing. Customers should not be punished just for opening a box to check the product.

Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, and IKEA UAE seriously needs to improve both its customer service and its outdated, customer-unfriendly return policy.

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful. They tried to pass off a broken bed that they had glued and polished, clearly assuming I wouldn’t notice. The level of dishonesty is shocking. After that, it took 40 days — and endless calls and emails — just to get a replacement. This company operates with zero integrity. If you ever buy furniture from them, inspect every single piece carefully during and after installation, or you’ll end up being cheated just like I was.

The most disappointing experience. Avoid if you need insurance for your building.

The most disappointing experience.
IKEA wouldn't take any responsibility and insurance as required by my Residence and therefore not complete delivery nor installation.
I had to chase them 4 times to get it sorted, and asked for the cost of installation to be refunded after more than a week of delays. I now have to mount everything myself.

They caused damages to our premises in the past, according to the building management, and now simply wouldn't comply, leaving me with no products nor services.

As a good will gesture they offered me a meal voucher.
Disappointing and disrespectful.

In the middle of a nightmare kitchen installation.
So many other comments on here share exactly the same problems I have.
I cannot believe how bad it is.
It’s like a video of how not to deal with customers absolutely farcical the level of incompetence, disrespect, and brazen dishonesty.

Stop! Don't Order From Ikea UAE

Never Order From Ikea UAE, Delivery and Customer service is the worst.

Firstly, It takes several days to receive orders placed on Ikea online, they charge extra for Installations. Despite this their delivery service is unpredictable and poor. Delivery agents are unprofessional.

Ikea do not share the contact info until the delivery agents call the customer, I am certain that delivery is outsourced to some transport company. Neither Ikea nor the delivery company cares about the customer service once order is placed and paid for.

Never ordering from Ikea again.

I used to like IKEA but their customer care is the most uncompetent people. Also marketing is sending false marketing and their chst support is also giving hmfalse information which they admitted and fint do anything about. Please do not bye from a company sending false coms and on purpose tey to cheay people.

Urgent Follow-Up on Incomplete Kitchen Installation

Dear IKEA,
I appreciate that your team has come and partially installed the kitchen. However, I was informed that the marble team would arrive today to take the necessary measurements. It is now 7:30 PM, and unfortunately no one from the marble team has shown up.

I am concerned about whether this delay is part of the planned process, leaving us with a half-installed kitchen while we continue waiting for the remaining work to be completed.

This situation is inconvenient and unclear, and I kindly request clarification and an urgent confirmation that the marble team will attend tomorrow and finalize the full installation.

I recently tried to place an order…

I recently tried to place an order through IKEA.AE website, which showed stock availability at the Jebel Ali branch. However, during checkout, it didn’t go through. I decided to visit the store in person, only to find the item was not available on the shelf.

After showing staff the website’s stock status and the issue I face when I do the checkout, they kindly assisted me in placing the order online but I was still charged for delivery. This was quite inconvenient, as I had already spent time and money traveling there.

I kindly suggest improving the accuracy of the online inventory system to avoid similar issues for other customers.

Worst customer experience ever!

I would give you less than one star if possible.
You don’t bother about customer experience and the scheduled delivery dates. Even when location is shared in advance with your team you don’t care to honor the calendar of deliveries. You are a shame for ikea name worldwide and the region with the worst customer experience ever!!!

Nobody works here I guess.

Nobody works here I guess.. waiting for 15mins to 30mins trying buy an oven. Literally no1 around.. and when I walk around and find some1 they want me to take a picture and goto cashier.. stupid system. Al futtaim should really hire more competent staff..

Useless Waaranty and Customer Service

Despite the warranty claim being understood and accepted by the IKEA inspector, the resolution team unfortunately rejected it. I am disappointed not only in the product (mattress which deformed after only 7 months in proper use and care) but also in the customer service and resolution team. After waiting two weeks, they concluded that it was my fault and that the warranty could not be claimed. As a result, I will be boycotting IKEA for generations to come. I do not believe in giving business to a brand that does not care about its customers or have the wrong people handling critical matters.

Wish there was a negative scoring to reflect my thoughts!
