I got hearing aids previously from a well known company. These hearing aids did not do anything to enhance my hearing and no matter how many times I said it to the lad fitting them he kept saying they take time for you to get used to them. Spent a lot of money and got nothing for the money. So tried Independent Living and hearing and found the hearing aids great from the start. Martina the woman fitting them listened to my concerns suggested a set of Aids and fitted them, i found her very helpful. I was very happy with them and ordered them straight away. I would highly recommend Independent living and hearing for anyone thinking of getting hearing aids. Thank you for everything.

I found the whole experience very informative and very easy to follow. Everything was explained clearly and I didn't feel uneasy about asking questions. They were highly professional and made me feel at ease.

Martina came to our house ... a lovely bubbly lady and put us at ease she explained everything and took her time.Martina is a joy and an asset to this company and when I got a call the next day the receptionist was lovely and extremely very helpful .... very highly recommended 👌 👍🏻

Martina visited my mother today and she was extremely helpful. Her warm friendly approach put my mother at ease. She was very well informed and carried out a very thorough check on mother's hearing. She was professional in all her interaction.

The whole experience was efficient and Lynn explained everything very well, nothing complicated about her instructions of use and everyone involved was super nice and super helpful. Thanks to all involved, we really appreciate everything.

Hello I cannot praise the lovely lady Jessie (Kilkenny) lady who so kindly helped me today. She is extremely knowlegable - an absolute credit to the organisation! She really helped me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail to me . She extra spent time going through with me as I had lots of questions and only for her I would not have place order for hearing aids. I wish everyone had her level of knowledge and empathy for customers. thank you so much ....

It was great to have someone call to your home but I wasn't entirely convinced it would be the best hearing test to have . I had been wanting to have a hearing test for a while but wasn't keen on the idea of ear wax removal or generally being at my ears. However I decided to contact independent living and hearing. I was given an appointment within a few days and Richard called. I didn't need a wax removal and we continued with the test . He gave me a graph showing me where my loss was even though I didn't quite understand it I accepted it for what it was. Richard was able to check if my stamps covered the first €1000 using my prsi number and it did. I could have had a pair not costing me anything but they were basic and needed batteries on a regular basis. I was more interested in rechargeable so they cost a bit more. I decided to go with that knowing if they didn't suit I could have a full refund. I was encouraged to wear them everyday and everywhere. I had them adjusted over the phone with a professional after 2 weeks because I felt they were not making a difference. I really wanted to experience an an improvement but I honestly didn't. Richard called again and altered them and requested an extra 2 weeks trial time . I was grateful for that but I'm still not feeling any better about the clarity. I'm delighted I took the plunge in getting hearing aids but on this occasion I don't think these ones are the correct ones for me .

Independent living and hearing are a very flexible company, willing to come to my house. I had my appointment with Lynn in the office in Ballincollig. At my appointment, everything was explained to me and no pressure to buy. Everything was arranged for me, including my prsi application.
I received my hearing aids one week later, and had them programmed. During the following weeks I was contacted regarding my use. I returned a few weeks later and had them fine tuned.
I would have no problem recommending INDEPENDENT LIVING & HEARING.

I had a hearing test with Cormac in my home ,as I had expected I have significant hearing loss in both ears. Cormac was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. I chose my hearing aids without any pressure whatsoever from him. I now have my hearing aids who were fitted by Paul,who also was extremely pleasant and helpful. I am amazed at the difference they are making. I would highly recommend Independent Living and Hearing.

I had Gary visit my home today for my hearing test. A very nice and well mannered young man and I found him very easy to interact with.
He was in noway pushy with the various hearing devices which is what I've experienced with previous company's and found it off putting.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Gary to any potential customers in the future.
