Elliot at the PDX location was so friendly and welcoming with getting me fitted and making sure i knew exactly what each customization option might look like! I just went in for a final look today and was very satisfied with how well it fit the first time, and although there were other staff than i had met, they were equally welcoming and kind. Also i feel lots of confidence knowing it can be refit if I end up needing it closer to my big day.

Kai helped my son and I purchase a couple of suits and accessories. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The service was great; friendly, no pressure and efficient.
From being able to pick out the material that you want, to being walked through all of their detail options from cut, to lapel choice, pocket variations, rear cuts etc.
The prices of the suits were very reasonable and I came away feeling very satisfied overall

I want to begin by stating that this is a negative review. Thank you, Jerrod! They don't deserve you!

My experience after taking my measurements and ordering my tuxedo has been disappointing. The manufacturer, Indochino, ended up switching my suit with another one. As a result, when I finally received my package, it took almost two weeks to get my actual suit. Upon closer inspection of my suit, I realized that I did not receive the tuxedo shirt I ordered, as it actually belonged to someone else. I'm currently in the process of switching out the piece so I can finally receive my tux in its entirety.

This has involved me stepping into the store 3 extra times to return someone elses suit. While I know the mixup is not the fault of the stores there has been little consideration or willingness to go the extra mile.

Both stores involved in the mix-up expect me to wear clothing that has already been tried on and used, even though this is my wedding tuxedo. It is supposed to be a special item. The only compensation I was offered for the mix-up was some cufflinks and studs for the shirt. I'm sure its a great company but I'll be sending folks the other way, including my wedding party. I paid a decent amount of money for the suit and was promised an excellent experience. I hate to be so difficult but its the principal. I'm not interested in wearing lightly used goods. The other customer should feel the same way!

I’ve been a repeat customer with Indochino, but after my latest experience, I can’t see myself supporting this brand anymore. I ordered a custom suit based on the colour displayed online, expecting some slight variation, but what I received was significantly darker and nowhere near what was advertised. Despite providing clear photo evidence and repeatedly explaining my concerns, the customer service team refused to acknowledge the issue, insisting the suit was “close enough” to what I ordered.

It’s frustrating to deal with a brand that not only dismisses a loyal customer’s concerns but also shows no willingness to work towards a resolution. Their approach felt rigid and indifferent, focusing more on being “right” than on customer satisfaction. For a company that markets itself as premium and high-quality, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

If you value good customer service and expect a company to stand by its product, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Very happy with my custom suit fitting with Makila. The location is inside the fashion show mall, and tons of samples to feel fabrics, buttons, suit pants, etc. Makila was pleasant to work with and highly recommend this location with an appointment.
