Terrible customer service, and shipped from Australa

Firstly, despite this being a UK website, the company is in fact Australian, so your straps will be shipped from the other side of the planet. This is important because when you need to return one, it's going back to the other side of the planet. And iStrap expect you to pay not just to send the strap back, but to send you a replacement too. Remarkable really.

Then there's the customer service. In order to return something, you need to email them, and after a few days of silence they'll get back to you with store credit. Yes, store credit. In Australia. If a product is faulty, and good luck getting them to agree to a return, then they'll swap it for the same product, or store credit, not a refund.

In an age of easy, free, no questions asked returns iStrap is a company from a different era. They remind me of how customer service used to before the likes of Amazon. How they manage to stay in business is truly beyond me. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid buying - leather magnetic Apple compatible strap poorly made.under normal use the magnets came loose and fell out so strap is useless- be aware Company only has 90 day warranty not the normal uk 1 year so they have no confidence in the longevity DO NOT BUY

What a rip off company

What a rip off company! Wish I saw these reviews before I bought from them. The strap broke within days and they did nothing to replace it. Bought a cheaper one from Amazon which works fine! Reading these reviews these guys clearly don’t care about customer service!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company - do not use them. I ordered a strap which was never delivered, they then refused to refund me and gave me a voucher to reorder the item which expired after 30 days.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUND POLICY

Avoid using this company - Refund policy is an absolute joke, you can only get store credit and then that can only be used on full price items, I originally bought my strap in the sale, it was too small so just wanted the larger size, they wouldn’t refund me or honour the original price, so I thought I would wait until there was another sale. After eventually getting the store credit and seeing there was a sale back on, I thought I’d reorder in the larger size for the same price I originally paid but no it reverts the strap to full price with the store credit code and even worse it adds on the delivery cost which should be free over £20, so essentially I will now have to pay £12 extra (plus £2.25 to return it) just to change the size - ridiculous. I have spoken to customer service who are no help at all, they do not care and have no common sense, I was chasing the store credit so I could use it in the sale but the customer service agent didn’t say to me then that I wouldn’t be able to use it in conjunction with the sale, so just let me find out when I tried to reorder. All they needed to do was to honour the original price I paid or reorder me the larger size and this review wouldn’t exist. I am not asking for much, simply just to get the same product in a larger size for the same price I originally paid but they are more interested in taking your money than helping you.

Not one decent review for this outfit! Well in my case the strap did arrive and it was great - a silicon solo loop...for a few weeks at least. Then the strap became really loose. Useless now. Clearly not the best material and lots of cheaper options (probably from the same Chinese manufacturers) all over eBay.

Do not trust these scammers

Do not trust these scammers. Item was not delivered and they admitted fault. They then refused to refund me, breaking all kinds of consumer laws for online purchases. They offered a store credit which I have refused. I am currently making a barclaycard claim against them.

DO NOT PURCHASE. The courier company have lost my parcel & the customer service at iSTRAP are doing nothing to help. I have contacted & chased THEM (iSTRAP) up for over two weeks & different people keep replying saying we are waiting for an update yet I chase them when I am the customer & they should be working to help me. I am dreading my experience now I’ve read all the reviews. DO NOT PURCHASE from here. I will be contacting trading standards.

If I could give 0 stars I would. You can’t get a refund from this company - when you buy an effectively faulty item. Bought a face cover for my Apple Watch which doesn’t work. I can’t type/touch any of the icons… absolute CRAP. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Poor Customer Service

Returned an item over 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t exchanged the item for me. I can see the item has been signed for but they are refusing to exchange my item.

Never delivered. No refund!

Ordered a strap and cover. Was dispatched the same day which was great however the item has now not moved on the tracking information for almost a week. I have emailed the company (who seem to have their customer service based in Australia) but there has been no reply. I’ve requested a refund but no such luck despite not receiving the item. Extremely poor. Will continue to pursue.

Shocking service

I bought a strap that won’t fasten. I have asked for a refund and they keep sending email after email. I would NOT recommend this company as it’s nothing but hassle…you have been warned. Also the strap is too stiff quality poor. Customer service is disgusting.

Do not make a purchase from this company as they will try and avoid giving you a refund. This is illegal, as according to UK law they must offer you a full refund if they are notified within 14 days. You do not need a reason to make a return. Save yourself any unnecessary stress and buy elsewhere.

Where do I start
I placed my order on the 2nd September,
To request for a refund is like pulling teeth. OMG! The chat bot, their phone number does not work, so you have to go through the painful process of looking for the email.
I had to pay £17 to return my items, because ISTRAP does not have a returns process in place.
I have emailed IStrap proof of return, (which has been signed for), tracking information, on the 5th September.
Two weeks later, I have not received my refund.
ISTRAP, WHERE IS MY MONEY??? WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

All I can say to anyone who wants to place an order, AVOID AVOID AVOID! You will have to pay to return the items and you won’t receive your refund

Beware of their refund policy

Beware of their refund policy. They seem to offer only store credit unless your strap is faulty - so if your strap is unsuitable, prepare for a bit of a battle to get your money back. The chat bot on their site is unresponsive, so I now have to trust that they will email me back. I'm not going to hold my breath.
