Satisfied for 2+ Years

I've been using iWebFusion for over 2 years to host my website and have no complaints. Their rates are affordable and they always respond quickly to support tickets. The client portal is straightforward and easy to use.

RESOLVED: At the end of my rope with iWebFusion

UPDATE AS OF 5 JANUARY 2021:

I edited this review from a 1 STAR rating to 3 STARS because iWebFusion handled this well considering the circumstance. They had valid reason to believe my credit card was compromised.

My original review (see below) was written from a place where I felt unheard by customer support, and frustrated that I wasn’t getting the level of help I’m accustomed to.

Other than this one incident, all of my past experiences with iWebFusion support have been stellar.

My issue was resolved by Jacob — thank you very much. This experience was a misunderstanding that could have been easily avoided. I wish we didn't need to get to the point where I had to air my grievances in public.

ORIGINAL POST AS OF 12 DECEMBER 2020:

I’ve been a customer since 2018. I have (3) active domains purchased from iWebFusion that I cannot use because I was locked out of my account and denied service today.

They falsely accused me of using stolen credit cards. I can prove that the cards are mine and tried to do so. I received no replies from my emails where I gave my:

- Passport
- Scans of my (2) credit cards
- Offered to share my billing statements

I wasn’t given a chance to contest the accusation. My support ticket was resolved and I was told “Please do not contact us anymore. I’m sorry.”

I no longer have access to their chat support channel. I think my IP was blocked. I don’t know why they think I used stolen cards but here are the conclusions I jumped to:

- I recently moved and changed my address
- I rebranded my business and changed my business name
- I don’t like saving my credit card information for automatic billing, and have failed to save an up-to-date card for this purpose. I manually input my card for new purchases and renewals.
- The system has been billing me for hosting that I don’t need—this is my fault, I should have cancelled the order instead of assuming that the service would end on its own.

I feel extremely frustrated and have been crying for the last three days. I’ve been working on my portfolio site since July. I can’t upload my website to my domain, I can’t link my social media accounts to my site, I can’t create a funnel for new clients to earn a living! I can’t believe this happened to me and I don’t know what to do. The domains I purchased from them are not available and will not be up for renewal/registration until 2021:

- Domain 1 - November 2021
- Domain 2 - September 2021
- Domain 3 - February 2021

iWebFusion has the right to deny me future service, I respect that. But they don’t have a right to deny me access to domains that they sold to me, that I paid for, and are therefore mine.

I want to publicly apologize for the experience you had. There was definitely a breakdown in communication between us, and we'll definitely learn from that as we move on.

Since all of the issues have (I believe) been resolved at this point, the only thing that I would like to state here is that your account was never closed/locked/etc. That's not something that we've ever done (to my knowledge).

Excellent Customer Support

Helpful, informative, and quick. I was a bit confused with my nameservers, but my agent solved my problem in minutes and explained my error. Very satisfied.

iWF is Totally Rad!

iWebFusion has been a fantastic service with incredible understanding and patient support. They are always ready to answer anything I'm curious about and offer solutions in a very timely manner!

Awesome performance and support!
These guys are so good to work with. I have no complaints about their hosting and any question or difficulty I've had over the past years have been picked up by these guys.
I can't thank them enough for keeping my website up and help me out with anything I can't work out myself.
