Very proactive approach with fully customized options

Excellent, quick and friendly service

I've been investing through James Austin/IWP for a number of years and found that James understands my investment needs and risk appetite and explains in a language I understand the investment recommendations.

I can only recommend IWP as Financial Planning Advisors. They are friendly, very professional, they propose multiple alternatives to the customers' needs, highlight pros and cons. I've never felt pushed to choose something I was not comfortable with.

Highly recommended wealth planner

I spoke to about 6 different individuals/firms that were not institution specific. We were looking for someone independent that would bring thinking and ideas that were not tied only to that institution.
We wanted a number of aspects of advice including: how to create and take advantage of tax efficiencies, options for curating a balanced portfolio, etc. Also helping answer questions about property purchase and the best way to approach it, retirement planning and how much we need to save/earn between now and retirement to sustain a decent lifestyle.

We chose to work with IWP as it is a locally experienced firm, regulated by Polyreg, and FINMA registered. James is English speaking, but speaks Swiss German/German and is integrated so he can decipher the system well. He will also be able to continue to manage our wealth with us when we move to a different part of the country later this year as has clients nationally.

James not only helped with his advice about our effective wealth planning, but he was incredibly valuable providing recommended specialists for our needs eg) tax accountants, mortgage broker, lawyers for wills, etc.

James is extremely personable, incredibly diligent, capable, thorough and a generally nice person to deal with. I have found his support team to have the same ethic. I have recommended James to other friends and would continue to do so happily in the future.

Very good professional service and advice. I have good return of the product investments so far. The lean IWP team is very dedicated but on some occasions can take a little time for response. However, this was not a key issue for me. If you are an expat then this is a good place to start for financial and wealth planning in Swizerland.
