Bought a large Rug online Sunday the good quality thick non slip underlay arrived Tuesday the Birkdale beige Asiatic rug arrived Wednesday it’s gorgeous soft but very durable, this company knows how to get it right and they were cheaper for the same item. Will use them again.

Lovely rugs, at a huge discount - love it!

I ordered Pink Burlington cushions from Jane Clayton as a 60th birthday gift for my mum. More than 24 hours after taking my payment, I was informed by Zoe Langley that the cushions had been discontinued and could not be supplied. The product remained listed for sale despite this.

Communication was extremely poor. After my reply, I received no response for 48 hours, and when I finally heard back from Alex, the Head of Customer Service, the experience was exceptionally disappointing. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation or acknowledge my concerns, the responses appeared focused solely on protecting Jane Clayton's position. There was no meaningful effort to assist me as the customer.

To make matters worse, I was told that my refund could take up to 10 days to be processed. This means Jane Clayton will have held my money for around two weeks while providing nothing in return and leaving me to find an alternative birthday present at short notice.

In my view, this raises serious concerns under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, particularly the prohibition on "bait advertising":

"Making an invitation to purchase products at a specified price without disclosing the existence of any reasonable grounds the trader may have for believing that he will not be able to offer for supply, or to procure another trader to supply, those products or equivalent products at that price for a period that is, and in quantities that are, reasonable having regard to the product, the scale of advertising of the product and the price offered."

Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Taking payment for an item that cannot be supplied, leaving customers waiting days for responses, and then expecting them to wait even longer for a refund is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend Jane Clayton based on this experience.

I have still not received my package

Amazing service. We had to re order more wall paper as we were a little short. The customer service couldn't have been more helpful making sure that it had the same batch number as our first order.

Ordered a few wallpaper samples from Jayne Clayton. All well packaged when they arrive and A4 size. You only pay the postage and can order up to 5 which is a bonus! Will definitely order my wallpaper from this site as soon as easy to deal with. Thank you

I ordered a selection of fabrics and fabric samples for making curtains and cushions. The website is easy to navigate and the wide selection of brands and fabric types available makes Jayne Clayton a great ‘one stop shop’. Samples arrived quickly. Fabric orders took a bit longer but were well within the promised timeline so no issues there. I would not hesitate to buy from the company again.

Great choice of wallpapers at very good prices

Please be advised that the reviews on the Jane Clayton website have been filtered hence higher ratings. I was very disappointed by the customer service I received from such a prestigious brand but no means of putting on their official website. I inadvertently ordered ONE roll of Capri Lemons fabric rather than the wallpaper. Even though I reported issue immediately and the Company could have easily resold it they were not interested and only sent me a generic response. Very disappointing.
