Worst service ever

Worst service ever
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Created and paid for a return label myself, everything was done correctly and taken from the website. Received the package back after weeks and according to Janthee it should be sent again this way so this cycle will never end. I'm almost 30 euros further just to return my package and they refuse to send me a return label even if I offer to pay for it (which is already outrageous)

Update: NOW ON YOUR REPLY YOU WANT TO TELL ME I PUT THE WRONG ADDRESS? WHEN IN FACT I SENT PRINT SCREENS THAT SHOWS THE ADDRESS IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOU SHOW ON THE WEBSITE. NO MISTAKE WAS MADE IN THIS ADDRESS!

I sent ANOTHER email a few days ago and I will AGAIN pay for my own shipping and I will AGAIN send it to the same address which was correct. Can you please reply to this email? And stop making things worse and lie in your review reply’s! Thank you

Kein Geld zurück trotz Widerruf – Achtung bei Bestellungen aus der EU

Ich habe im Juni 2025 bei JANTHEE bestellt und die Ware fristgerecht widerrufen und zurückgeschickt.
Statt einer Rückzahlung des Kaufpreises erhielt ich nur ein Guthaben („Store Credit“). Das widerspricht den EU-Verbraucherschutzrechten.
PayPal entschied ebenfalls zugunsten des Händlers, da deren Käuferschutzrichtlinie den Widerruf nicht abdeckt.
Verbraucher sollten wissen: Der Händler sitzt in Dubai und unterliegt offenbar nicht dem EU-Recht.
Meine Warnung: Bestellungen können riskant sein, da Rückerstattungen verweigert werden.

Ich verklage Janthee

Wie hier schon oft genug geschrieben wurde verhält sich Janthee EU-rechtswidirg. Das Anbieten eines Store-Credits der nicht funktioniert anstatt einer Rückzahlung verstößt gegen das Widerrufsrecht, an das sie wenn sie auf dem europäischen Markt agieren gebunden sind. Der Sitz in Dubai ändert daran nichts. Die Gründerin von Janthee ist sogar Deutsche. Die Poststelle in Dubai einzurichten ist Vorsatz um den Verbraucher zu betrügen. Absoluter Wahnsinn ... Aber die Grazia, Harpersbazaar etc. machen Werbung für diese Firma.

Ich werde Janthee verklagen mir reicht es.

Betrug und Verletzung von Verbraucherrechten!

Verbraucherrechte werden bei JANTHEE verletzt und leider erhält man diesbezüglich keine Hilfe.

Ich habe Store Credits erhalten, obwohl mir die Qualität der Produkte nicht zusagt und ich deshalb eigentlich gar nicht mehr dort bestellen will. Sie weigern sich jedoch mir mein Geld zurückzuzahlen.

Die Produkte sind auch nicht gerade günstig, das heißt es handelt sich um einen Warenwert von 160€.

Nun wollte ich gezwungenermaßen den Store Credit einlösen und er funktioniert nicht. Auf E-Mails reagieren sie nicht! Ich würde dort nicht bestellen. Das ist Betrug!

Verbraucherrechte werden bei JANTHEE systematisch ignoriert!

Ich hatte großes Interesse an den Produkten von JANTHEE, wurde aber durch deren Rückgabepolitik stark verunsichert. Laut den AGB akzeptiert JANTHEE bei Rückgaben von vollpreisigen Artikeln nur Store Credit – eine Rückerstattung in Geld ist demnach nicht vorgesehen. Zudem sind Sale-Artikel und Artikel mit Rabattcodes ab 20% vom Rückgaberecht komplett ausgeschlossen.

Diese Praxis widerspricht nach meiner Einschätzung klar den geltenden Verbraucherrechten in Deutschland und der EU. Das gesetzliche Widerrufsrecht garantiert eine Rückzahlung des Kaufpreises über die ursprünglich genutzte Zahlungsmethode, auch bei Sale-Ware. Die einseitige Begrenzung auf Store Credit ist rechtswidrig und wurde bereits von deutschen Gerichten als unwirksam beurteilt (BGH, Urteil vom 28.10.2020 – VIII ZR 230/18).

Da JANTHEE gezielt an deutsche Kunden verkauft und Preise in Euro ausweist, gelten diese Verbraucherschutzgesetze uneingeschränkt.

Ich empfehle potenziellen Käufern, diese Rückgabebedingungen genau zu prüfen und sich der rechtlichen Lage bewusst zu sein, bevor sie eine Bestellung tätigen.

Widerspricht EU-Recht

Widerspricht EU-Recht. Rückgabe 14 Tage, nur Store Credit statt Geld zurück - bei ungetragener Bademode unzulässig. Rückgabebedingungen werden beim Kauf nicht klar gezeigt. Würde nicht wieder dort bestellen. Kundendienst absolut nicht serviceorientiert. Auch bei einem mangelhaften Artikel wurde mir nicht geholfen, sondern lediglich auf 14 Tage Rückgabefrist verwiesen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Kundenservice ist dubios

Halten sich nicht an geltendes EU-Recht für die Rückgabe. Ich bestelle nie wieder bei dieser Brand. Kauft nichts bei denen, solche dubiosen Geschäftstätigkeiten darf man nicht unterstützen.

Rückgabe verweigert – nicht EU-konform

Ich habe als Kundin aus der EU bestellt und wollte von meinem gesetzlichen Widerrufsrecht innerhalb von 14 Tagen Gebrauch machen. Der Shop hat die Rückgabe jedoch mit der Begründung abgelehnt, dass er nicht an EU-Recht gebunden sei – obwohl er eindeutig auf EU-Kundschaft abzielt und nach Deutschland liefert. Da wird das Steuerparadies Dubai gleich doppelt genutzt.. er verweist auf seine AGB die man beim checkout bestätigt. Leider bringt das rechtlich aber nichts, da ich mich selbst als Onlineshop in Dubai eigentlich in meinen AGB‘s auch nicht über EU-Recht stellen darf, wenn ich offensichtlich auf den europäischen Markt abziele.

Der Kundenservice war zwar höflich, aber uneinsichtig. Ich habe den Fall bereits der Verbraucherzentrale gemeldet. Leider keine Empfehlung – ich werde hier nicht mehr bestellen.

quality didn’t match the price

I was really disappointed with my order. The product description on the website was quite vague—it didn’t mention how sheer the fabric would be or the type of straps, which made it feel misleading. The top I received was ribbed, completely see-through, and arrived faulty, which was even more frustrating. None of this was reflected in the photos or description online. I reached out to customer service and was told I could only get a store credit, but after this experience, I don’t feel confident ordering again. The quality didn’t match the price, and the lack of transparency on the website put me off. Wouldn’t recommend unless they update their descriptions and improve quality control.

Misleading policies and poor customer service

Janthee refuses to issue refunds and makes customers pay for their own returns, all while providing misleading information about customs charges. The sizing is completely off, and if you get it wrong, you're stuck—no refunds, just store credit, meaning you have to risk reordering and paying customs fees all over again.

For the prices they charge, it's unbelievable that they don’t offer free returns or better customer service. Bikinis are such a personal fit, and if a brand can’t provide flexibility for sizing issues, it makes ordering online far too risky.

I used to love their bikinis for the style and colors, but after this experience, I would never order again.

No return possible

The sizing of the bikinitop was off and very different from the other bikinitop that was ordered. However the return was not accepted within the policy of the company, which a was disappointing conclusion of a large order that I made. So it seems that the discount by loyalty points that was offered came at a high price. Very disappointed by the way this was handled.

Refund

A brand, which i saw on Instagram on the search for a bikini. I ordered some to try them on thinking they are made in Berlin or in Europe, because they have a site of Jantheee Berlin. But wrong: there seat is in dubai! None of the bikini fit, i ordered in a value over 280€ different sizes and now had to send them back.
When you check the FAQ you fastly see, that there is only their way of refunding into credits. I just saw that afterwards. They also didn‘t want to refund otherwise. Eventhough the EU and the german Law says it‘s illegal to only refund via credits.
After i wrote 5-10 mails with them forth and back and speaking with the german Consumer centre, it was relatively fast clear, that there is no chance to win a Lawsuit, when they have their seat in Dubai.

But:
Luckily i paid via PayPal and the consumer center gave the advice to try to declare a conflict with PayPal and ask them to refund, so in the end, i got the money back via PayPal!

So if you are as desperate as i was, and did the same „mistake“, reach out to PayPal and you might have a chance to get it back.

Good luck and fnck these a22hole companies trying to fool you!

Am liebsten würde ich gar keinen Stern…

Am liebsten würde ich gar keinen Stern abgeben! Ich habe zwei Monate auf meine Bestellung gewartet! Und wurde immer nur auf Nachfrage benachrichtigt wo meine 300€ Bestellung steckt. Naja das Kleid kam an und war nach 2 Stunden kaputt. Auf meine Frage warum die Qualität so miserabel ist wurde mir gesagt man kann nichts daran machen und sie können mir keine Garantie anbieten.
Nie wieder kaufe ich etwas von denen!

FRAUD

I was sent the wrong size and they won't let me return it, do not react to my messages. I paid for an item I did not order basically and they won't refund me. Horrible experience.

NO-GO!

Unglaublich schlechter Kundenservice! Ich habe eine Bestellung mit einem sehr hohen Betrag aufgegeben, und am Ende erhält man anstelle des Geldes einen „Store Credit“ und bleibt auf den Kosten sitzen. Unglaublich! So etwas hatte ich bei keiner Firma zuvor. Ich kann KEINESFALLS empfehlen bei dieser Firma etwas zu bestellen!

Abzocke

- Die Größen entsprechen null dem Standard und fallen 2 Größen kleiner aus.
- Reduzierte Ware, die nicht passt und retourniert wird, bekommst du nicht erstattet. Lediglich einen Store Credit — was ist das bitte für eine Frechheit.
- die Qualität ist ebenfalls das Geld nicht wert

So kann man auch Geschäfte machen, viel zu kleine Ware als Sales-Artikel anpreisen und nicht erstatten und die Kunden wissentlich abzocken!!!!

All of our bikinis are made in high quality and they're all hand made manually one by one. It is normal for products to have differences around 0.5-1cm because they are handmade. It is only human for us to not be able to create everything to be the exact same from one product to another. All of the other companies will have the same problem, starting from jeans, bikinis, t-shirts, etc. It is most human to not be able to make everything 1on1 perfect. We hope you can understand where we're coming from.

Our policies are clearly communicated on our website under our Terms and Conditions as well as on all product pages. (Issuing only store credit codes are align with every laws and rules as JANTHEE is an international company.) We make sure as well that our T&C are known for our customers as they need to click and accept our T&C before purchasing.

Schlecht

Mal abgesehen davon, dass man Sales Artikel nicht zurückgeben kann ist der Kundenservice eine absolute Frechheit. Absolut unfreundlich und ignoriert wird man dann auch noch. Zudem lässt die Qualität zu wünschen übrig. Nach einem Jahr sieht der Bikini so mitgenommen aus, dass ich ihn nicht mehr tragen möchte.

Wie viele hier schon schreiben, kann man Sale Items nicht retounieren!! Das ist das allerletzte. Ich werde nie wieder dort bestellen und auch in meinem Freundeskreis in jeder Sommersaison davon abraten und davon erzählen, was für eine Sauerei der Laden sich erlaubt!
