Size was not available at that particular store, staff said we could order it for you and will be delivered to my address. Payment made at store, been a week no news of the item, made a complaint, said wait for reply in 24 hours, been more than 72 hours nothing, walked to a store to check re the order, staff says it will be delivered 4 days later (specific date was given). Next day mailed to check on status, if it’s true what the staff at the store mentioned, receive a letter saying sorry technical error at the in store kiosk and order was cancelled, to walk to any store and get the payment refunded. How frustrating, the staff don’t even know what they are saying and doing.

I wish to formally raise concerns regarding the conduct of staff at JD Sports Werribee. I experienced poor customer service, including rude behaviour from management and misleading statements about the store’s refund policy. This may constitute a breach of consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law. I request this matter be reviewed and addressed promptly, as such practices are unacceptable and potentially unlawful.

I placed this order two weeks ago, and Australia Post still hasn’t physically received the parcel. JD Sports continues to advise me to wait, without providing any clear resolution.
I’ve tried multiple contact methods - email, phone, and WhatsApp (with no response via WhatsApp). When I called, the agent was unable to assist and referred me back to the same person who had already responded via email.

Update - it took a bad online review for JDs to open the case again so they can make out as if they have tried to help when in fact all they have been is unhelpful and dismissive. Chances are I’ll send the shoes back and they will just say no to helping again…
1 star is too much .. Don’t purchase from JD’s. My daughter’s pair of Varsity Nike’s failed after 8 weeks of prep on a soft playground. Stitching came apart all over the shoes. They refuse to replace or refund. Online Nike support said they can’t help because we purchased at JD’s but they feel for us and understand the issue is unacceptable. Mr Minute said the shoes are failing structurally not from wear and tear. JD’s closed case the second I opened it and made notes on file but told me to see store manager who then said he can’t help because they trump him. He said it’s because I didn’t keep box. Lots of other online warranty complaints from trust pilot.. wish I’d seen them first. Shoes should last longer than 8 weeks and JD’s are breaching Australian consumer laws by not assisting.

These company is a disgrace. They don’t have any customer service. I called the Frankston store realising that they were answering the phone and just putting it down on the counter. I heard the conversations between the customers and the silence between each sale.
I know this because I actually went to the store rang them and saw it happen right in front of my eyes. There was one customer in the store and four staff members on. When asking the supervisor about the store policy regarding answering the phone and she blamed the casual staff member. As a supervisor you are there to supervise your staff. This proves to me that this is absolutely a store policy to pick up the phone and put it down. All I wanted was to know if they had a particular pair of shoes that you had the night before and that size and to have it put away for me to pick it up immediately after work. Clearly the store supervisor had a chip on her shoulder when she gave an empty apology. Are used to spend a lot of money in this store, I will not be any more.

Typical of this company, advertise their online sales, you order, you pay and then later get a refund because they don’t have stock. What e-commerce system are you using that allows orders when you have no stock available. Bad management. Won’t be ordering again. Ruined my sons birthday
Never again will I visit JD Sports Eastland
I received the worst possible customer service at Eastland JD. The Manager was the rudest person I have ever come across. I simply wanted to exchange a pair of runners for a different size. I explained to the manager that when I purchased the shoes, I advised the sales person (who I have to say was fantastic) that I didn't need the box. He never once advised me that I would need the box in case of an exchange. The Manager responded with "I am standing by my staff and I know he would have told you". I responded with "therefore you are calling me a liar and I have a witness to prove what happened". He then proceeded to tell me that this is store policy. The friend who was with me at the time (who also purchased a pair of runners) asked how we were supposed to know that. The Manager's response was "It's on the receipt. Can you read". At this point we left the store, and I contacted their customer support line. I was advised that they could not overrule what the store manager had said. Their solution was to try another store and see if that manager would swap them - are you serious? That wasn't an option. I asked for the Manager's name, and was advised that they don't keep that information - again, are you serious? Will never revisit this store or any other JD Sports store. The Manager at Eastland needs many lessons on how to treat his customers, and he also needs to ensure that his staff are trained properly.
⭐ 1 star – because I can’t give less
JD Sports Blacktown are selling bad and faulty stock. My son under 16 bought a pair of Nike shoes, and after wearing them once, the fabric at the edge of one shoe tore. This is not wear and tear — it is clearly defective stock.
When I returned to the store, the manager refused a refund, replacement, or store credit. The way my under-age son and I were treated was unacceptable and disrespectful. There was no accountability and no customer care.
To make things worse, JD Sports online customer service is just as poor. They simply said they “cannot override the store manager,” which shows a complete lack of responsibility and understanding of Australian Consumer Law.
This matter has now been escalated to Fair Trading, and I am waiting for the outcome.
I strongly warn customers to be careful buying from this branch. If something goes wrong, don’t expect support, quality service, or fair treatment.
Delightful service by Sina Werribee store
After a passing through visit I have to say I had a surprisingly delightful customer experience at JD yesterday.
I waked in and out very briefly with my mother and brother. Before we could escape we were touched by a big smile and eagerness to serve from a young lady named Sina. It was honestly just a quick browse by my brother, but after being delighted by Sina I just had to ask her name and thank her for the experience as well as congratulate her on her next level service delivery.
It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced that at any retail store, a genuine attempt to connect and reach us as customers in a warm, bright manner.
I hope you take note and seek to adopt this as culture in your business where I’ve not experienced bad service but I have to say have not being excited about the service there previously.
Even though we were only passing through yesterday, Sina left a lasting impression and when I return to the shopping centre in January to purchase my children runners for the year, I would be attending JD first in the hope that Sina would be there to bring joy to the occasion .

I brought a pair of shorts online that came with the security tag on them so they were absolutely no good whatsoever and I was doing my Christmas shopping and brought 2 pairs of playboy trousers and only 1 came.they didn't believe me I asked them t6 watch their packing camera so I had to purchase another pair and I'm only on a disability pension and am buying for kids that don't have anyone to buy for them and this is what I come against.i don't have money backing me!

Don’t shop at JD Sports Southland Store. I returned 2 items but only 1 item was refunded. I didn’t received confirmation email that I was told I would and the girl serving me took a photo of her screen as proof of return but (only realised 2 days later) photo didn’t have anything on it. I contacted JD Sports customer service and after several emails back and forth I was told that the there is no sign of the Nike shorts (because the staff member obviously took them!) so there is nothing they can do so I’m $40 out of pocket

I bought a pair of reebok pump , the pair sent out both pumps not working got told by customer care I would have to take them into a store to be assessed, the store clerk didnt asses them juat said what is a reebok pump I've never heard of them before and basically had zero knowledge about shoes , then instead of sending my shoes back and ordering replacements , refunds my card and said I have to repurchase them but I won't get my refund for up to 10 days but I needed to pay dor rhe next pair now , I asked if a message would be sent to make sure another faulty pair wasn't sent but apparently thats impossible and I would have to wait again take my chances that they didn't arrive broken, what customer care tells you and what actually happens when you go instore is two different stories, I wouldn't recommend anyone buy online or in store, it felt like buying a car from a rug salesman, absolutely no idea what they are selling. More like the jester of trainers definitely not the king 🙄

Very bad customer care assistant on phone, sounds like 18 years old girls that has been chewing some gums for 8 hours while talking to the phone, they answer your question in very rude and sassy way but not even trying to fix the issue.

I went into charlestown store as they have a sign out the front saying "if its not here its free" go to the keoisk. So i roamed around the store and there was 6 staff members and i was walking around for 20mins. With no help. Then i went to a worker and asked her for what i was looking for and she was like " um i dont know where it is" . So i asked about the if its not here its free and she had no clue what to do. So left the store and went to another store and got what i wanted. Im not happy at all

Waited 4 days for them to tell me there's no stock after making the purchase and them accepting payment.
I ordered 3 items, 2 were cancelled so I've paid the shipping for a pair of socks, and lost out on the shoes and t shirt
I've had 30% of my orders cancelled by the business.
Will be going to the ACCC next week.
