Gym equipment is ok. Most of it is in good condition, but a few of the handles the rubber twists, making it difficult to use lifting heavy. I've complained but I get ignored.

They gym would be great if the staff paid more attention to all members and not just the ones they fancy.

It took me 25min pressing the wall button "for attention" to get in to join. I actually had to set the alarm off on the disability gate for a staff member to approach me, even then, he dealt with the girl who just walked up beside me who's QR code was not working.

Once he spoke to me, "I said I'd like to join" he walked me over to a tablet on the wall and said, there you go you can sign up here and walked away. No info, no gym tour, no explanation of classes, nothing. He walked away and started chatting to a girl on a machine. And no he wasn't coaching her he was talking about a night out or something. Half hour leaning on a machine.

The staff are useless in the Cumbernauld gym, nowhere to be seen and take no notice of issued with machines.

Great gym. Lots of space and equipment. Never been too busy each time I have visited

Ryan helped me when I joined he was polite helpful and showed me round the gym have been in the gym and enjoying it

I was so nervous to join the gym. I have been battling about joining for so long. However, David Symon was the instructor who showed me around. He made me feel so comfortable after lashes of sweat and fear. He really is a great asset to your team!! I am now comfortable enough to attend on my own. I know how all the equipment works (the ones I'm starting with) and he ensured me there were no daft questions. As someone who is very shy and body conscious, I feel a lot more confident when attending. I like the darkness in the gym which gives me more confidence. Gym is clean and tidy. Lots of equipment.

I loved that there is so many different machines, so you never have to wait to get your turn.Lots of different age groups,nobody bothers you!

Enjoy going here. Plenty of equipment and always clean.

Good sized clean gym with plenty of equipment and friendly staff. Changing and showering facilities kept really clean. Love it!

I'm enjoying the gym, the only problems are all the youngsters sitting on equipment playing with mobile phones and never any staff on the floor if you need advice

The ladies gym I used has lost the lifting platform and only has dumbbells up to 10kg and nothing heavier so had to carry heavier dumbbells from the other end of the gym, as the gym was really busy and didn't want to train in the busy areas where there was no free space

Best gym ever. The PT’s are all so so helpful and kind, very approachable too. Love it!!!!!!

Great gym

Agree with below that some folk hog equipment and that staff should be a bit more conscious of this. Not everyone has time or interest in spending their whole evening waiting for people to use equipment in such leisurely manner.

Would also suggest the addition of a couple of other pieces of equipment. Glute bands, A skill mill, medicine balls would all be great additions and theres an abundance of space to make this happen.

Joined a couple of weeks ago. Great big gym, lots of equipment, kept clean. Only thing I’ve noticed is the equipment could be doing with more maintenance on the cardio stuff like the cross trainers that aren’t the smoothest.

Love the vibe in the gym and all the staff are really helpful and happy to give advice and assitance. For someone more-or-less at the beginner stage, JD Cumbernauld is perfect
