We’re afraid it's true, our gyms are very popular and can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate at different times of the day and night. To make the most of the space where possible, though, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities.
When we increased the price we contacted all members to give them notice. We are sorry to hear you didn't see this communication. It may have been directed into your junk mail by mistake. Review
Found the gym and the changing rooms compact.
No temperature control to showers
Don't like the fact the gym is on 2 levels
No cover to drainage located in the shower cubicles which means other people's dirt flow through the shower cubicles which I think is very unhygienic

Not truly 24hours
I have received this request to review the gym a week after I tried to cancel my membership. Unfortunately, this isn’t a quick or easy process, a form needs to be filled in online and then you have to wait for a staff member to contact you which still hasn’t happened and the cancellation hasn’t yet gone through.
Not all facilities are 24 hours; the studio is locked after 9:15-9:30 during the week and 8pm at weekends (and can’t be used until after the classes have finished) and there isn’t much alternative floor space without this facility.
The changing rooms are also shut at 10pm through the week and 8pm at weekends. Outside of these hours there is one toilet available between both sexes and i have never found this to be clean.

Good clean gym with good machines
Good clean gym with good machines. As a new gym goer though it was very daunting with no personal touch and no visble member of staff. At 1pm the place was already feeling very busy so I can’t imagine how busy it’s going to feel at peak time. Regarding classes they’re all listed in the app, although having managed to find a member of staff and ask them how to book onto the classes they told me you just turn up to the classes but sometimes what’s listed on the app may not always go ahead as it’s down to if they can get someone to cover the class.
Overall if you want an affordable gym to go to then this gym meets the requirements.

Definitely highly dedicated to his work with an excellent work ethic, couldn’t recommend him or the gym more.

It's flexible payments,if circumstances…
It's flexible payments,if circumstances life change I can stop for some time , and back again and no fussy membership pay.
Just bathroom could be open longer late night up too 11pm.

The gym is great
The gym is great! But no access to changing and shower/washing facilities after a certain time is a bit poor

Hello! Thanks for leaving us some feedback, we appreciate it.
We are a 24-hour gym in Preston, but due to there being less staff on duty throughout the night, areas which are not covered by CCTV are closed t for the safety of our members (i.e. the main changing rooms and saunas).
We do however leave the accessible changing room open at all times, as well as there being lockers for you to use. If you need to get changed or grab a shower during the night, that option is there for you and you'll have complete privacy in there.

It’s JD gym, it’s busy at peak times but more than enough space and equipment to do your workout, friendly staff, big changing rooms and open 24:7, better than most gyms at £25 quid

Customer service non existent. I have been waiting two weeks on a cancellation request, no number to call customer services. You can only contact them through an online form and they don’t respond.

When cancelling your membership, we ask kindly that you fill in a cancellation form. The link for this is on our website but I have also included below for your convenience. https://www.jdgyms.co.uk/general-enquiries-form/ Once this has been submitted, our team will check the details of your membership and process the cancellation for you.
We do ask for 30 days' notice to ensure our team have time to process everything and that your exit from JD gyms is a swift, efficient process. If this hasn't been the case, please reply to the email they have sent you and our team will endeavor to assist you in anyway possible.

Only 1 pec Dec in the whole gym. The WiFi hardly ever works. I can never get signal in the gym so I basically have no phone while I workout!
