Great to be back at JD Gym again. Love the variety of classes, all the staff are friendly and it's an overall good atmosphere to work out.

The gym is fine but the equipments are usually out of order and one out of pair handy equipments are usually missing or broken. Again it would be nice if the app can also give a monthly, quarterly or weekly record of how often and duration of time spent at the gym. Cheers.

The worker was very informative and knowledgeable about the gym.He introduced me to a PT trainer that is great.

HOWEVER!! It loses 2 stars due to everytime I'm in there I'm walking onto a movie set and people setting up production for a movie!

Been a member for 5 days now and been every day and its been great always clean and all the staff are very helpful , been at different times of the day and its never that busy that you can not go on the machines that you want to us there is never more than a 5 minuets wait or just use a different one till its available

The gym is great, however disabled facilities is what I feel brings the score down. Being trans and not wanting issues with others when it comes to changes rooms I use the disabled. As much as the disabled toilet away from being in any gender room is appreciated, this means paying full price but having to forfeit; hair dryers, benches and have to get changed on the floor, sauna and I believe the air con for the room being changed to a timed system meaning after a shower there is nowhere for moisture to escape meaning you get sweaty after having a shower, this makes me uncomfortably sweaty after having a shower.

The gym is overly crowded. The sections of the gym are not well separated in terms of specific training areas there are some basic machines missing for back exercises like the landmine. The showers could be improved having separate individual showers. The showers in JD gyms had very bad smell like if someone left human stool there. Not very plesent There are some good areas like free weights area and good upstairs area for more body and crossfit area

Fantastic value for money. Great equipment and plenty stations. Changing areas are nice and very clean. I moved to the gym because I was fed up with broken equipment and poor management where I was exercising.

Been going to this gym for 4 years and I can’t seem to find one better, nicest staff from the pts to the cleaners couldn’t recommend enough. Not sure how the gyms been reviewed as being dirty as every time I’ve been it’s been spotless

Only been a member a few days. Been a few times and so far really impressed! Staff really friendly and accommodating

Joined in the gym and it only took minutes. However no one showed us around or how to work the machines… all the machines we did use were dirty. No staff the entire time z no cleaning products to clean the machines myself!

first day today and took part in the boxercise class at 9.30am

absolutely loved it the perfect class for me ...even though i was nakered ha ha defo a regular class for me from now on the instructor Jacky was great :-)

Gym is dirty, machines are dusty and sweaty. Cleaner not seen to do much and no cleaning supplies available. Taking anti bacterial wipes to clean machines now.

JD gyms wigan is a dump. All the straps and ropes are worn out ,the rack is always a mess and there's this pungent smell in the air. The machines and treadmills are decent though.

I called to book an induction. No one called me back. So I went into the gym. It’s unfriendly, very difficult to navigate for someone who doesn’t actually know what they’re doing. I have to build muscle because I’m hypermobile; I guess I’ll figure it out by myself!

Helpful staff, lots of well maintained equipment, friendly atmosphere.

It's clean, organised and generally tidy, just a shame it looks and sounds like a warehouse rave!

Gym is very busy at times lots to do classes, equipment,personal trainers extremely large gym very good value for money
