Honestly, their app picks and chooses what it counts toward rewards. You get “vitality points” for what seems like no reason But they’re actually fairly useless. I have the Apple Watch reward through them and I spent months paying because their app didn’t register my workouts half the time. They say “get x number of workouts to spin the vitality wheel” I’ve been stuck on 8 out of 10 for over a week. Even though I hit their ever changing requirements every time. I’ve brought these issues their attention and they only offered excuses and blame. It’s all a bit of a sham really.

I had a very nice and smooth experience in obtaining rate and starting policy. Excellent!!

Easy, fast and nice service. Understood my needs

I am very thankful that our most favored Life Insurance Company has
begun FEx coverage for Customers. My husband {Spouse} took out
a Life Policy in 1964, while serving in the US Navy, in Sanford, FL>
A gracious gentleman from an Orlando office came to the Air Base, (closed
many years ago), and he [Guerry C] still has the Policy and is quite
proud of it. Therefore, I am now "joined" with him, and feel very much secure.

I love my insurance and I particularly love the vitality program! I have enjoyed every minute of “paying for my Apple Watch” through working out and through getting healthier! I’ve run wayyyyy more in my year of having vitality. But I will say I’m a little concerned that I did not receive any cash back like I was told I would for reaching the platinum level in my first year. I’ve sent several emails to try figure out if it was a mistake and I get no response. If that had gone as planned I would have easily 5 starred this review but now I’m doubting I will get what was promised when I signed up for my life insurance.

We have JH LTC and recently I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. The Oncologist have said not to have anyone come into our house since with my diagnosis if I were to have Covid 19 it would be a death sentence. I qualify for benefits as well as waiver of premium, we have our daughter move back home to help and we requested JH to honor the waiver of premium and we are requesting NO MONETARY BENEFITS. They refused unless we accept having strangers come into house. One would think they would honor this request knowing how dangerous this virus is along with a letter from our doctor.

Process as quicker and easier than I expected.

The offers you make for fitness are awesome, and it makes you strive to get healthy. Very creative incentive that you offer I am very pleased and want to say thank you for helping me stay healthy.

While I enjoyed reaching Platinum status, mathematically, the premium refund that was sent to me did not equate to 15%. This has left a feeling of false advertising.

Terrible-do not purchase insurance if you can help it. I went on the vitality program when I purchased insurance because they were offering a "free" Apple watch. Well, I'm a year into it and all the steps/activities I do during the day to get my Vitality points in are not being counted towards my free payment. So I've been getting charged for the watch when I shouldn't. Have reached out multiple times to get help from John Hancock and it's like nobody ever works there, you can't get one person on the phone to get an answer once you're a customer. SCAM-do not sign up with them!

This company is dishonest and incompetent. They will not actually pay out the loyalty cash back and will tell a wide variety of lies to try to get you off the phone if you call in to inquire. They also block premium payments to try and drop policy holders they no longer wish to cover.
