Bait and switch practice!!

I love the medicine so far! It did take a good while to get to me and I paid $149 for my first month but the renewal was up and they tried to charge $399! At no time was I told it was going to more than double in price the second month. They advertised no price changes no price increases, but apparently that is false. Also, communication through the portal takes an average of two days to get a response.. thankfully my credit card saw the charge for $399 as fraud and blocked it. Stay away. Worse than a street drug dealer.

Very Impressed So Far

When it comes to GLP-1’s the amount of choice out there makes the process overwhelming. There are so many different things to consider, and so many providers have some hidden costs.

I was happy with my current company but the price Embody was offering caught my attention. They also include B12 which my current prescription did not, making it an even better option. As my old prescription expired, I was nervous about making the switch, but again the price for a 12 month supply a huge driving factor. I can’t stress enough that it’s important to read pricing thoroughly for any company. Most negative reviews on pricing are usually from people who don’t take the time to read the details. Most companies offer the lower rates for multi-month bundles, and you pay that amount upfront.

The ordering process was so simple. I experienced no hidden fees of any kind and I started the process on Monday and it was at my door on a Wednesday. The packaging was incredible! My order came in a mini styrofoam cooler with ice packs. Way more secure than my previous provider. They bumped my initial dosage down a little, to ensure that my transition to the new product goes smoothly. I thought that this shows thoughtfulness on the behalf of the prescriber. I’m not one to be overly worried about increasing constantly when the current dose is working, so I didn’t mind at all.
I am excited to get going with Embody. If my experience with the product goes as well as things have so far, I will definitely be sticking with this brand.

Tell the truth

Tell the truth, They give you one price 149.00 then for your refill it’s 399.00. This is not right I will be canceling my subscription as well

False advertising in price after stating I can’t afford the extreme increase they offered a lower price. So in meaning they could offer it at the lower initial price. Yet they price gouge. This is someone’s last chance or hope without insurance and even that in this economy being disabled vet they still only care about making that money. Not ok. 1 star because i did get my first month at the price they said it would stay at . Also no lt professional

Malpractice and Fraud

6/14/26 - 75% price increase, zero communication. I went to cancel and refund in less than 24 hours after the charge was made.

They said they cancelled it, and yet the order still went through, medication shipped 2 days after the cancellation and they won't refund! Horrible!

Mind you the first month of meds didn't ship for weeks after payment and approval! They rushed to get this shipment out because I attempted to cancel!

Update 6/17/26- They only offered a partial refund for the month I had already cancelled and no longer wanted, but they sent out anyway. Steer clear and report to the BBB. They want their money and don't care how they get it apparently.

Update 6/25/26- After 4 seperate messages of them asking me to confirm my desire to cancel my account and me confirming each time, my account is still active. After speaking with someone on the phone yesterday she let me know no one put in for the refund of $250 I was promised back on 6/12/26. And since that conversation via phone they removed all messages and correspondence from my patient portal.

This is against state AND federal law. I have put in a legal request for copies of all of my medical records, they have 15 days per state law to get them to me. Still no refund, still fighting to cancel, while they are breaking laws. Medical malpractice and fraud seeming to be what they do everyday.

6/25/26 afternoon- They've reached out for more information since somehow they can't find me in the system. Seems like they tried to delete all evidence of my using their services to cover their tracks. Offered them my BBB complaint number that has all of the photo proof of my correspondence with them.

Another shipment mix up!

Add me to the list of those who have issues with the correct order being shipped. In my case I am missing glutathione. The order appears to be a jumble of medications across typed lines making it rather easy to miss something. My major concern is with the lack of communication from "customer service" as I have emailed 3 times and called. Their voicemail does not give their hours of operation and I called at 10AM to a recording saying they are closed.

As for the application process and pricing it's great! The products are well packaged and I am grateful for the speedy service. It's just their fulfillment team needs additional training when creating shipments and customer service drags out correcting things unnecessarily.

UPDATE: After sending pictures of everything STILL waiting as they need "clearer" pictures. All they need to do is look at their own records as they created 2 orders (1 for 6 vials, 1 for 1 vial). They created ZERO shipping label for the second order but added the vial of NAD+ and left out my Glutathione. SOOOOO frustrating, it's like dealing with a 3rd world country but it's coming from Texas.

Scam

I was approved for 3 month supply then I was charged and never received my prescription and I contacted support with no answer and it's been almost a week with no update or anything....false advertising on the 24/7 support and times for shipping after approval.....

Terrible experience so far

Terrible experience so far! My husband and I both signed up. I’ve taken glp1s before (and recently), so I thought I would have the opportunity to discuss my dosage prior to shipment - I did not. As a result, my food noise is no different than it was before. I’ve tried to reach out to support numerous times and so far I’ve received zero response. Not one time have I spoken to a nurse or a doctor. Basically, I feel like I just wiped my a$$ with $129. Companies like this piss me off. Don’t advertise that you have 24/7 support when you don’t. First of all, you aren’t even available on Saturdays and Sundays… so technically that would mean at best, you offer 24/5 support. But then factor in that their support offices operate on the west coast and that adds another layer to the complexity of trying to get in touch with support. Having said that, if you call before or after hours, you get an answering machine. Since when is an answering machine 24/7 support? Don’t get me started on the misleading language of their website! Read the fine print or else. Honestly, it’s all just garbage… hot stinking garbage, meant to take advantage of people who are desperately seeking to lose weight. Honestly, they should be ashamed of themselves, but they’re not. They just want your $$$ each month. Do yourself a favor and don’t sign up for this scam!

They lie about pricing they advertise 149 a month no increases then they try to hit you for 300 the second month. No transparency with communication. You get one person then another then another and nothing gets solved. I paid 149 month one then month 2 they increase it to 299 although they tell you its 149 every month after. Its all lies i paid 149 for second month now they are saying they wont send it until they get another 149. And they r3fuse to refund my money cause i cancelled and asked for refund. They try to pull o good one by saying they will credit me 149 . Uh hello dumbass your still charging me 300 before i get my stuff. So how is that crediting me 149. Just cancel and return ny money.

Beware!!! Bait and switch tactics and fraud!

After seeing many ads from Embody come across my Instagram feed I was intrigued by their pricing claims. I saw several ads, that I actually saved, that claimed Tirzepatide for "$129.00 per month, Forever", "No long term commitment required", "No hidden fees", "Ships in 1-2 days". Unfortunately their claims are a bait and switch tactic and complete fraud. I was with another company paying $179. for a compounded Semaglutide. I had a lot of blood work done about a year ago and was originally prescribed Trizepatide but could not afford the cost. When I saw the ads for $129.00 a month I was interested. I ended my previous subscription and joined Embody. That was almost a week ago. I was immediately charged the agreed $129.00 but I just found out the following day they took an additional $229.00 out of my account without my authorization. Their claim of shipping in 1-2 days is also false as it's now been almost a week and I have no medication and am currently out $358.00. Please, please beware of this company!! They use bait and switch tactics and are flat out lying. I now have to try and find a phone number for them so I can try and get the money they stole back.
