I feel so much better since starting…

I just saw on FB commercial for 87.00…

I just saw on FB commercial for 87.00 semiglutide regardless of dose. Not true. I paid 95.00, then next month with upped dose 300.00. this is bait and switch. So I guess these are illegal advertising ads. I complained to Emboy, saying I would send back, was told no I could not, so they took off 100. Sorry will not using company again!

Fraudulent Charge & Unauthorized Renewal

Embody nearly sent me the wrong prescription, but I caught and stopped their mistake. The BIG problem was that I signed-up for the $149 per month semaglutide. That price was guaranteed not to change, and you could cancel anytime. I cancelled after one month because the extremely low dose didn't work and I didn't lose an ounce.. I was then shocked to see another $349 charged to my credit card. I complained and they offered to lower it to $250, but I DID NOT renew or request a second month supply in the first place. I am currently in the process of fighting the unauthorized and deceptive charge. The promised price is a scam, I'd warn anyone not to trust these people. Nothing but regret for me. Extremely disappointing!

Hi Dan, you should never ever be charged after you cancel. That's not something we would ever do and I will make sure that it is rectified immediately - that is very disappointing. We previously did have a $149 first month intro program but have since moved to a $79 Sema & $129 Tirz first month (with $100 off your first month). So it renews at $179 & $229 or you can lock in $79 and $129 forever on a 12 month bundle. In regards to dosing - if it's your first time on a GLP1 you have to get your body used to the medication at a low dose. That's a medical provider decision and not ours. This company is a scam!

thought I had finally found a company that cared more about its patients than making money. Their advertisement stated that any dose would cost $149 and that the price would not increase. That promise was the reason I signed up.

Shortly after enrolling, I received an email saying the price would increase the following month. I exchanged several emails with customer service but got nowhere. I eventually called their support line and was told that the $149 price only applied to the first month, despite what the advertisement suggested.

I told them I wanted to cancel. After being placed on hold multiple times, I was finally told they would honor the $149 price going forward. Later, when I called to update my payment method before refilling my prescription, I specifically asked whether my account was still set at $149. I was told that it was noted on my account and that the price would remain the same.

Despite those assurances, I was charged $399 instead of $149.

Wendy, it is completely unacetable that someone on the team told you $149/month was confirmed and then the price went up. The team should have immediately moved you onto that plan and fixed it. I will make sure you get an immediate refund for the difference if that hasn't been processed yet. Fast delivery

Fast delivery. Haven’t really seen any results as it does take some time. 1st injection nothing happened, 2nd injection I should have ate something BEFORE injection. Felt a tad off nausea and a little bit little dizzy then went away really quick. Now about to do the 3rd injection so we will see!!! I do feel tired a bit more…but we’ll see!! I think I want a heavy dose lol

Worst experience

They do not listen to anything you say. Customer service is horrible and they do not communicate with each other. I have been on Sema for over a year and was looking for a new provider. Embody asks about dosage and what you prefer and then starts you at 1/8 of the current dose. Steer clear

Hi Amanda, we ask lots of GLP1 history questions that are then sent to the provider to make a medical decision on what's best to start you on! We don't play a role in this and are always relying on the provider. We make sure to give them a lot of info to continue your treatment properly vs. starting you over - as we don't want you to lose your progress at all! Not transparent about pricing after correcting first dose they tried to charge me double. Very disappointing and frustrating thought I found a good product for a reasonable price. I wouldn’t have asked for the corrected dose had I known you would price gouge me. BEWARE

They will charge you $400 for a 2nd month even if you cancel!! BEWARE!

I got one month of glp-1 medicine from them at a good price. After the first month they asked if I wanted to continue with them and I said no in both text and email and they responded that they understood and would not charge my card.
Well I just checked my credit card and they charged me $400 and refilled and mailed a prescription out! I disputed my credit card and have the email and text as proof but am still very unhappy I have to go through this when I explicitly said no.

The only thing that was confusing was…

The only thing that was confusing was the dosage I was unsure on how many units. I figured it out with Google but clearer instructions on usage and dose would be helpful. As for the medication it has been amazing first day lost all cravings and ate no sweets or bread and only ate 900 calories for the day.

Shipping takes to long , no weight loss

I unfortunately was out of the country when my prescription needed refilled and my card was locked . However , i immediately called when I got home and paid. That was on June 4th , as of today it still hasn’t shipped . I’m already late on the injection , by the time I actually get it , I’m going to be really late . When I call in or write in I get the same response it’s with the pharmacy. So I said oh so you got your money , now you don’t care, the lady said yes . All other company have 2 day shipping and immediate processing but apparently not embody. On top of it the first two months I didn’t lose a pound. Not to impressed with this company. I also had to fight for flat rate after it was offered and they tried to tell me they didn’t have that, luckily I had it in writing that I was told this. Overall not impressed. Oh they honored the flat rate , the true problem is I ordered my next dose a week ago and it hasn’t shipped . And no one seems to care at your company

What a scam!!!! They charged me $149 initially but then the second month tried to bill my card $399. When i got ahold of customer care and sent them a picture of their own advertisement stating that their price was $149 "for LIFE" and it wasnt supposed to change ever, they basically told me oh well.

You just let me know what you need from me in order to get me taken care of

So mad. I really thought the ad I saw said 149.00 no matter what dose you are on. Well, 149 was the sucker price. They charge you 399 after that. Like when were they going to tell me that. After my credit card call contacted me. I stopped the whole thing. Fraud all the way.

I found out (too late) …

I found out (too late) that my insurance (Kaiser Permanente) expressly forbids its physicians from performing follow-up care related to Rx from non-KP sources. Embody blithely says to get follow-up care from your PCP. Embody should warn applicants and/or not release Rx until it's been confirmed that follow-up care is available. Yes, applicants bear some responsibility but sometimes you don't even know what questions to ask. Providers such as Embody should be proactive in establishing availability of follow-up care before accepting applicants. Now I have a shipment on the way that I've paid for but can't safely use.
