I don't easily post reviews because life just tends to get in the way, if you know what I mean, but in this case, I was just so incredibly impressed by jurassicplants customer service that it's simply a must. First and most important, the plants we received looked great. Very healthy and strong plants. We often buy plants and trees and these must have been among the best looking we ever received. They were carefully wrapped up to keep them safe during transport and given a good top up in feed too to help them bridge the transition time. Second, their customer service and communication was outstanding. I accidentally made the wrong order and when i emailed them about it, they responded rapidly and made the adjustments (switching plants), even refunding me for the difference even though I said i was happy to just switch plants and let them keep the difference. I would definitely use them again!! Highly recommended

I rarely write reviews, but this time I simply had to.
I ordered a Common Medlar and a Blue Sausage Shrub, and both plants arrived healthy, strong, and in excellent condition.
I was especially impressed by the packaging. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into preparing the plants for shipping. Everything was securely packed, so nothing moved during transit and the plants arrived in perfect condition.
Unfortunately, I've had experiences with other online plant shops where the packaging was poor and the plants arrived damaged. The difference here was remarkable.
I was also delighted to find a lovely free surprise included with my order. It was completely unexpected and such a thoughtful gesture. Little touches like this really make a difference and show that you genuinely care about your customers.
Thank you so much to everyone at Jurassic Plants for the wonderful plants, the excellent packaging, and the outstanding service. I will definitely be ordering from you again and would happily recommend you to anyone who loves plants!

Very nice people. Madeleine assisted me before placing the order with courtesy and professionalism. They offer very rare plants and ship within the EU. Of course, due to customs and distance, shipping in EU is very expensive, but if you are looking for niche plants, it’s manageable. The plant arrived in very good condition and was very well packed.

Ordered a chocolate climbing vine from this company off Amazon. Have to say I'm over the moon with it. Reasonable price and its arrived in perfect condition packaged really well.
I like the information that was sent with my plant. Full of care tips and a discount off my next order. The plants they have are so unique, can't get some of them from anywhere (believe me I've looked) I've now signed up on their site ready to put my next order in. Only problem is I could spend a fortune on their amazing array of unique plants 😁.

Ordered from company as so many exotics. Courier DPD refused to deliver. Contacted Jurassic who next day arranged redelivery by Royal Mail. Outstanding Customer Service. Our favorite place to buy plants! I only wish we could visit! First and foremost the customer service is phenomenal always replying promptly to any questions we have about upcoming plants, pollination or any questions about shipping. They've very kindly replaced a couple of plants for us that either didn't do well or had a knock in shipping.

That said, the plants are incredibly well wrapped for shipping and really does amaze me every time opening the box to such happy plants, especially after a battering through the post system!

The pricing is very fair and always feel like I've had a really great deal, especially with the unrivaled catalogue of rare, interesting and in (my particular interest) edible plants! We only have a small garden for now, but very much look forward to ordering many more plants when we inevitably find somewhere bigger.

We first discovered Jurassic Nurseries at the Malvern Autumn fair and I am so glad we did, I've had an interest in rare fruits for some time and had always done my best to taste and grow as many things as I could, but like many are just impossible to get hold of here in the UK - Jurassic Nurseries has such a large selection with notes that they are specifically grown to be eaten. With so many of their plants being incredibly hardy it really is the most amazing place.

We look forward to discovering so many more interesting species, and supporting a nursery with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Very small plants with extremely poor root development

PLANT ARRIVED QUICKLY, VERY WELL WRAPPED, HAPPY.

As above , almost if not the only source of Embothriums in the UK at the time, so these young plants, ( have failed at germinating repeatedly ) were a revelation, plus further genuine rarities.. As referenced protean knowledge, consummate skill plus humbling care is guaranteed, whilst notably, packaging is the best thought out of all the suppliers . Looking forwards to further orders next year; - a destination always to be kept in mind, if you can accommodate any more of these particularly special varieties !

Just received my plants from my first purchase with Jurassic Plants, and they look great! Really nicely packed, so despite the box getting a bit squashed en route the plants were unharmed.
There was a nice leaflet in the box with helpful tips on growing on, as they are only small plants.
Very happy with my purchase.

For many years I have been buying such wonderful plants from this nursery, plants you would be hard to find anywhere else. It is surprising how so many plants from tropical or warmer climates that grow and flourish in this country. Many are edible, all look amazing in the garden and I look forward to receiving the emails listing new arrivals. My garden is full of exotic plants and just looks amazing.

I have ordered around a dozen plants from Jurassic plants so far. I offer the following review and some constructive feedback for JP and their customers.

Plants - superb quality - each plant has arrived with a rich green and glossy look. I get the impression that the business was born out of love of the job, rather than cold hard returns. Just my guess, but the love shows. Critique - to manage expectations (I am not a shill afterall) the plants are not very big, usually a seedling of 2/3 sets true leaves, but growers will know that this initial stage of growth is the hardest and growing on from this height is a lot easier, so it is a worthy investment. Given the quality I think represents good value. ;)

Packaging - this is extremely secure. double boxed, plants wrapped in cellophane and taped to one side. I have found the most risk free way to unpack is to open top and cut down the bottom corners from both sides, this gives you access to the 'tray' of plants. Critique - I would say the overuse of cellophane is a little too secure, as it does risk the stems being damaged getting that cellophane and tape off - with the tape it can also be hard to find the leader and unravel methodically. For the plant tops I would suggest cutting a square carboard slip with a slit down the centre and taping that in place, requiring less cellophane and crucially none around the stem.

I am impressed by the plant quality and thoughtful packaging. I hope this feedback is of some use to Jurassic Plants.
