Spent a lot of money on a D7000 nighthawk router, but its go so many issues its only just usable, and netgear are no longer supporting it despite the fact there still selling it.

The VPN software is obsolete (iPhones, android and windows now treat it as insecure and won't connect to it).

The Media sharing software is obsolete, and you have to significantly turn down windows security settings to make it connect to it, it also has a load of issue with permissions (you can't rename files, you have to copy and delete).

Information about its vulnerability to the VPNFilter malware is sketchy (given other routers in this range have been confirmed to be vulnerable).

Basically it was obsolete when it came out the box, and Netgear can't even be arsed to update a few bits of open source software and provide a firmware update. Exactly what you expect from a cheap unbranded £15 ADSL router, not a £150 one. Very disappointing.

I bought NETGEAR R9000 Speed is just amazing I've had a gaming party at my house and 20 blokes connected to play LOL and it was fine!!!! Ping was only around 60.

One star: I have bought second hand product, Netgear Stora NAS, model MS2110. It was in excellent shape, so why wouldnt I. I know how to setup NAS, that was not my first.
But then I got problems... That product does not work without internet connection with stora account, and without initial user and password created there. The seller couldn´t give me the user and pass, as he still uses it. And I couldn´t activate the product with a new created user... Then I found in internet, that I have to call netgear support, and ask for reset to initial state. And I tried it; over very expencive hotline, I asked them to reset it, but they refused...
They don´t do that any more after product warranty expired. I asked them again to help me, but they said again that they will not do it, and that I have to buy a new model. I couldn´t belive it.... OMG...
Netgear support, that was not proffesional. From now on, I will avoid all of your products.

In Australia and have a Netgear modem. Can't find a single phone numbe, it's all check our response board and see what our other users have asked i.e. cheap support.

Trying to enact a parent block and yet all I'm getting from Netgear is another page opening with each support option and no telephone number.

Netgear laver nogle fede produkter og jeg har efterhånden købt en del.

Jeg har aldrig haft de store problemer med nogen af dem, så ejg vil fortsætte med at kigge på deres vej når produkter skal anskaffes og de har muligheder.
