I have purchased 2 x Kidde 10SCO units…
I have purchased 2 x Kidde 10SCO units in the past 11 months. The first failed within 3 months and now the replacement has failed within 9 months. Both had same fault in that the Fire alarm goes off for no reason. I have lost all faith in these products.
Now waiting for return instructions from Safelincs.

I was on the phone with First alert and…
I was on the phone with First alert and they were very knowledgeable about a product I wanted to buy. I wanted to buy a quick connect convertor sold by kidde. I talked to a Kidde expert and they had NO idea what I was talking about. You would think your company employees would know what your selling. Great job First Alert your a lot better with customer care then Kidde.

Bought Kidde 10sco fire/carbon monoxide alarm and keeps going faulty, customer service want the receipt for the alarm before they will replace, which was bought in 2016

BUYER BEWARE. 10 YEAR WARRANTY NOT HONOURED
BUYER BEWARE. Kidde carbon monoxide detectors have failed after 3 years of use. They were purchased as they have a 10 year warranty. Kidde refusing to replace or accept any responsibility. Stated they cannot be used in the kitchen. As the majority of gas appliances are in the kitchen and the unit needs to be placed within a certain proximity to the appliance, this makes them unfit for purpose.

We have very bad experience with the…
We have very bad experience with the Kidde Fire Safety. It's just 2 years we moved to a newly built home with new fire alarm and several time received false alarm from multiple systems and some of them got replaced.
The customer service was worse than the product, it was the worst customer service call I ever had. When asked for replacement according to the warranty, was told they are not aware how long it will take for replacement. Will not recommend this product.

We bought nine Kidde Firex smoke/heat…
We bought nine Kidde Firex smoke/heat detectors for our large house. That was six years ago. Every single one of them has had to be replaced, most of them more than once. We still get innumerable false alarms, to the point where we've just had to disconnect them all with extreme prejudice. Cheap build, poor quality and unreliable - have nothing to do with this junk.
