Ordered a knife early May for a birthday, not arrived yet and it’s June! Endless emails and instagram messages.zero customer service response, but they were happy to take my money straight away and I have not got either the knife or my money back

Paid express delivery for a birthday gift and the item didn’t end up delivering for 11 days. Only communication to say it was running late was when I reached out first. Have requested a refund for the delivery charge and now no reply. Poor service, shame as won’t be shopping here in the future.

I decided to have one last go at contacting KP and managed to find a WhatsApp number.
I called it and Helen picked up.
I asked her what was going on with my order and why the lack of courteous contact...she explained something about an embargo on the product I purchased, which was a bit beyond me tbh. She then confirmed that my order was about to go in the post. I asked why the lack of contact and she seemed oblivious as the why I might be miffed at the lack of contact.....
I know they are a smallish outfit but their lack of concern about how they are viewed / percieved is odd in my view.
I run a smallish business, admitted not retail and not on line, but if I behaved in the same way, I wouldn't have a business. They obviously don't set any stall by Trustpilot...
By the way, my order arrived the following day....

The worst online experience ever! No one answers emails, customer service is non existent, no dispatch email or tracking information shared after 1 week of placing an order. I wish I read reviews before placing my order. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I have been struggling to use a gift voucher since Christmas for a knife sharpening course. Not possible to book online. Have emailed twice, no reply except an automated response to say 'we'll get back to you'.. Have asked on Website to be notified of course dates, no reply.

Popped into the Soho store today and met a lovely lady who was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I was shown a lot of options, but I couldn't quite find a knife that matched my somewhat fussy requirements.

Having looked at the website I think I've found one that ticks my boxes, though it is currently out of stock. I will continue to keep an eye on the website and come back when I find something in stock.

The selection was great and the prices are really competitive. I love that there was no pressure and no disappointment when I didn't make a purchase today. It was even suggested I take a photo of the knives which were closest to what I was looking for.

This experience made me want to ensure I purchase my next knife from Kitchen Provisions.

I always use Kitchen Provisions to sharpen my Japanese knives. This time I needed a major repair. I'm very happy with this service, great communication, fast service, highly recommend!

Unfortunately another bad experience with Kitchen Provisions. Ordered knife however Royal Mail ripped the box during transfer and knife has been lost... I messaged to Kitchen Provisions about this situation and one day later I received a email which answere... However after this email I sent them email back but unfortunately no on get back to me ... It's 4 th day while I'm waiting answer back. Just be aware they don't have phone numbers. Im so sad because we been there customers for a while and such a bad experience.

I am finnaly happy with my Chef knife Kanetsugu 230mm ..It is tall so good for my knuckles and so it will work even in small kitchen . It has good weight and very good micarta handle without any butt!I have been buying and returning like 4 of main chef knifes .Even sg2 knives or hammered knives .. Many Jappanese knives have small handles and small height of blade .But this seems it is going be my favourite.It is similar to western style knives Thank you

Consistently disappointing. I have made several visits to several store locations and the staff have always failed to meet expectations on helpfulness and knowledge.

Responses to orders being shipped out is non existent. Emails ignored, chat box ignored. Poor and disappointing lack of service.

Zamówiłem jeden kamień do ostrzenia. Mój pierwszy problem był taki że nie dostałem żadnych informacji kiedy został wysłany moje zamówienie. Na stronie nie działa status mojego zamówienia. I sama wysyłka z dostawą trwała ponad 8 dni. Gdzie w tym samym czasie zamówiłem inne kamienie też z usa i holandi i przyszły po 2/3 dniach po złożeniu zamówienia. Kamień który zamówiłem był owinięty jedynie w folie bąbelkową i wrzucony do kartonu opakowania takiego samego jak amazon używa.... Sam kontakt z firmą tez jest na niskim poziomie. Muszą jeszcze dużo poprawić żeby klient do nich wrócił. Bo jak na razie to jestem bardzo niesmaczny.

I may have bought something in this interesting shop with a wonderful selection of knives to choose from but if the staff can't even be bothered to acknowledge when someone walks in to the shop and just hide behind the counter then I can't be bothered to open my wallet - tip for you - smile , be nice to a potential customer and your sales may increase.

A good range of knives not available elsewhere. I have purchased from them several times now and the only problem has been with Royal Mail 48 tracked service
