New experience with Stape

In March 2026, we switched to Stape (well… just because 🙂). The fees at RRR-bank had become huge — they charged €200 for a transfer.

Our company’s accountant registered, and my colleague and I received invitations. The fee matches what was previously stated in the correspondence.

There were only two issues I personally encountered, and specifically with NNN-bank (my colleague using YYY-Bank didn’t have these problems):

The contract number was listed as XXXX, but the invoice said “Invoice to contract CN-XXXX,” and the currency control flagged this inconsistency.
The currency control did not consider the invoice sufficient and requested an additional bill/document.

In the end, Stape updated my contract by adding the “CN” prefix and advised me to request additional billing documents through accounting if currency control asks again.

Overall, everything is working well so far — thank you very much for the service!

Stape works well

Stape works well. It lets me receive payroll quickly and download invoices with one click. Support is excellent, and wire transfers and crypto payments are reliable.

There are a few minor UX issues: you can’t tell if card payments are available in your country before initiating a withdrawal, and contracts can’t be customized without help from support.

Overall, Stape fulfills its core purpose effectively, though it’s not perfect - I can’t pretend it’s flawless, but I’ll still recommend it.

Working with the Stape since December…

Working with the Stape since December 2025. The experience wasn’t bug free, but nothing way too critical. The worst problem was a delay of the withdrawal transfer, due to the malfunction of automatic script failure to fill proper intermediary bank, but the transfer finally made it’s way to me once resent properly. The culprit was on Stape side, never got an apology. Support is pretty responsive, yet not 24/7 available (maybe that’ll happen as they grow). The communication culture is way too unofficial and Slavic-style. I am Slavic myself, while it’s not a big deal for me, it might sound too rude to customers who got used to western type of support communication language: apologies when problems happened, detailed explanations, proactive solutions - that’s what I haven’t experienced yet with Stape. Overall, it’s an ok service, which works, but still goes through the growth pains. A considerable trade off for ease of use/quality/availability/costs at this moment when it comes to international work for hire operations.

First of all, I am sorry for the issue with your first withdrawal transfer. After reviewing the case internally, we confirmed that the initial problem was caused on our side. While the resent transfer was processed correctly, it was unfortunately further delayed by the holiday period. I understand how frustrating that experience must have been, especially when reliability and clarity are so important in financial operations.

I also want to thank you for your comments about our communication style. We take that seriously. Your feedback helped us reflect not only on the operational issue itself, but also on how we communicate when something goes wrong. We should be clearer, more proactive, and more thoughtful in how we explain issues, take ownership, and support customers through resolution.

I’m sharing my experience as an employee whose company relies on this platform to send salary payments in foreign currency. So far, everything has been very reliable — the transfers show up in my account within minutes, and I’ve never encountered any surprise charges or hidden fees. The service also provides all the required documentation, which makes it easy to handle tax reporting or any official inquiries. Overall, it’s been a smooth and transparent way to receive payments.

We pay multiple freelancers every month, and Stape simplified that workflow for us. Everything is in one place, and payouts are consistent. Support helped us quickly when we had a timing question.

Incompetent

Incompetent, irresponsible actions when dealing with salary transfers. Poor grammar of agents indicates low standards. Never ever trust this company with you finances.

Stape is always clear and helpful

We’ve been working with this company for a while now, and it’s been a really smooth experience. The Stape help businesses around the world accept payments from clients, and they do it in a way that’s fast, flexible, and reliable.

Easy way to receive your salary

Writing as a employee. My company chose this service to pay me salary in the currency, but based on my personal experience service is great, money coming to thee account within a few minutes, no any hidden commissions. Plus you have all documents to show them to Tax office.

Definitely recommend

Already the second month receiving the payments via following platform, so I decided to leave a review.
Used Solar and Deel previously, but lately they were not able to resolve my case and those guys did! Add on top user-friendly interface and fast payouts. So if you're looking for a payroll service for international payments, it's worth paying attention to this project.
