This lay distribution is a scam this company stole my money and locked my account I wish you burn in hell god will punish you.what I need now is you scam guys to take down my music thank you

The business got shutdown but Lay Distribution broked my promise about recent issue that I already said before [If I got some issues again] in my previous review (Transfer Not Welcomed).

Lay Distribution actually owned me more than $90+ USD, yes I have completed my tipalti forms, I have the payment threshold reached, and also after the deadline I asked support, and guess what? They didn't answer anything.

Completely regret with this and I should didn't give Lay Distribution a second chance. The company make false promises and also intentionally "Out for Business" for no reasons at all. This is lack of transparency and Lay Distribution shall fully responsible for all artists who got the slimiar incidents.

I recieved a message after almost a year and an extensive catalog of music released saying they are going out of business. I always questioned the amount of streams they said I had vs what I monitored on the sites themselves. $5.82 in royalties for several hundred thousand streams and haven't been paid yet, they have closed my account. Should I get an attorney?

Yh they just shutdown their company and services, they never paid me my royalties even after providing the payment methods before the marked date of the folding. And every time I visit the website, my account is written "churned and revoked API" and although I requested the payment but after a while when I go back to the site the "request payment" button is still active as though I haven't done that before. There's still time to correct this lay, if not I'm coming back and marking your services a scam. Because y'all never delivered.

Great UI, but it's quite confusing. For example, if you decide to host two labels on a single management account, you'd only be able to release music through only one of them.

The support quality is horrendous. I've sent them, like, 8 support tickets in the past 2 months and absolutely none of them have been answered so far. Radio silence.

Not sure what exactly I paid for now, but at least releases are being accepted pretty fast. I guess.

Not replying to my emails since December 23, I know it was holiday time, but as a pro subscriber I expected better.. I will change my review if I receive some support as the rest of the service has been good.

I use them for my music mainly for content id but i tried to distribute a song that i slowed down (i didnt check content id as they claimed on the warning and set it as a cover) what im sad about is the fact they terminated my account without emailing me. i have emailed back support and apologized if what i did is wrong but still terminating me for smth like this is idk how i feel about it. assist me please

Fast and reliable service.
Moved my label from the Distributor with the green mascot for pricing and support reasons. Lay is perfect for independent labels that dont want to pay for each artist. And ofc the way faster support at Lay also convinced me.

Okay I didn’t get their paid plan I was invited to use their platform and all I can say is wow they give way more features than most paid distributors out there I mean YouTube content ID and Facebook rights manager monetization on the free plan what else is there to look for outside, hopefully looking to get on their paid plan loving the LAY experience so far.

Fast 6 Monate bin ich bei Lay Distribution und ich bin wirklich sehr positiv überrascht. Ich habe erst vor einem Jahr mit Musik angefangen und meinen ersten Song hatte ich wie viele bei einem Distributor hochgeladen, der mir nicht viel geholfen hat. Bin dann zu Lay gewechselt. Hab da nach 4 Monaten auch so viel verdient, dass ich mir den Pro Plan mit meinen Einnahmen holen konnte, einfach um meine Karriere nochmal zu pushen und tatsächlich hat sich das sehr krass gelohnt. Mache seitdem viel mehr Einnahmen und habe zusätzlich ein super freundliches Team um mich herum. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Really simple to use, extremely fast and convenient. No issues whatsoever and even has more features than others. Didn't have to pay for additional services. I love it! And 5$ is pretty insane for this service.

Very easy. Managed to get my Spotify for Artists profile before I even created my first release thanks to the fast support. This couldn't have worked on other distros. Would give 6 stars if possible hahah
