Simply do not trust them! They will do anything to get as much money as possible from you. What seems to be a classic Leaders move, check other reviews, is to force you into "no-deposit" scheme without explaining how this works, I am still surprised this is even legal. Then (Landlords be careful) they will not find any issue when you leave, so they can keep the whole loot for themselves. Perfect "crime".

Changed the gas and electric meters without my knowledge when I was in the United states, I ended up with a 300 pound gas bill for one month at the end of my tenancy even though I wasn't in the property.

No real problems while living in the property but leaving was a nightmare. Deposit scheme paid over 2 and a half years seems more of a scam than beneficial.

Clare Wraith has been enormously helpful with the dealing of rental matters. Without her competent,prompt and knowledgeable advice, I would have encountered great difficulties concerning my rental property. It's a great relief that Clare is like oking after my flats.

I have been scammed by leaders and they blocked my holding deposit for a property. However, they have breached the contract terms and conditions and they refused to return my deposit back.
And one more thing, they will just want you to pay any holding deposit without even making a viewing, just never do that and better to deal with other professional agencies.

This is one of the worst experience I have ever had as a customer.

I have had an excellent experience with Tikal Betz who replies immediately and most efficiently to any enquiries I have as a landlord.

I often have very bad experiences with agencies helping to communicate with landlords and helping out with general maintenance. Tikal from Leaders has completely blown my mind and impressed me above and beyond. Tikal is the maintenance representative for the property I am renting. I reported a critical boiler issue which resulted in no heating near the Christmas period (22nd Dec). Tikal was extremely patient in listening and tending to my issue. She went above and beyond to help us and even did in-depth research for us for possible home fixes while we were essentially waiting for a miracle engineer who works during the Christmas period to show up. Amazingly, she managed to convince the boiler manufacturer to send an engineer down to fix our boiler. She also updated us hourly on the progress and who she contacted in the meanwhile so that we feel more at ease. If you are with Leaders and have Tikal helping you out, you are without a doubt in very very good hands. I cannot recommend Leaders enough for this reason. I hope the management in Leaders gives her the recognition she wholly deserves.

Leaders manage 2 properties for me, their portal makes it easy plus they were efficient in helping me when I needed to sell one of the properties.
I received many helpful phone calls from the Cambridge team plus settling a deposit dispute fairly, thank you all for keeping it professional and keeping us in the loop.

Really disappointing experience so far as a first time owner renting out a property through Leaders Cambridge. No communication despite email and phone messages left regarding our property first visit and check. So frustrating. Promised a 5* service when we signed, have seen very little evidence of the standard we hoped for since.

Tikal was professional and pleasant, and delivered what I needed with promptness. Great service

Unfortunately one gets used to poor and indifferent service, which is why it is such a nice surprise to start dealing with people like Andre Payne, of Leaders, Cambridge.
Our first communication was by phone, where he demonstrated his experience in dealing with a variety of issues, and the asset of a very pleasant phone manner.
I fully appreciate how busy the office is, but on most occasions, Andre replies by return, which I specially appreciate, since I am not 'on the spot', and to feel that my property is in such capable hands is immensely reassuring.
From my experience of dealing with him, I sincerely hope that his aptitude and willingness will be rewarded by a well-earned advancement in the company.

This has been by far the worst rental experience Ive ever had, and I've been renting now for over 17 years.

First of all, we are internationals. Before moving in, we asked how to get electricity and gas sorted. They advised us that these would be available for 2 weeks when we moved in, and that would give us time to sort out more formal contract. We moved in - of course, no electricity whatsoever.

Moreover, the house was FILLED with garbage when we arrived. Mould in the washing machine. An overgrown garden you couldnt walk through. Hand prints very wall. Stains all over the bathroom. Filthy oven. Very THREE steps I vacuumed, I completely filled our vacuum's containers. You honestly couldnt breath in there.

We contact our agent - Lukasz - immediately, who advised us that we only need to do a 'good clean' at the end, because clearly the house was a mess.

Now, this is included that our heating went down - took them 5 days to fix it in winter. Our washing machine broke - took 7 WEEKS and literally 30 emails /phone calls for them to even consider replacing it. Our tree collapsed in our backyard after a storm - took them a month to send someone. And the backyard fence also blew over, took 4 months for a fence to be replaced. Oh, and the owner hasn't paid counsel tax for several years, and someone came by the house to evict us/collect property for unpaid taxes.

So at the end of tenancy, THEY SEND US A BILL BECAUSE THE HOUSE for 'CLEANING' and cleaning the 'OVEN'

Leaders has alot to answer for in my respects. Not only do they intentionally ignore the first 5 emails you send, but then you try to talk to a senior manager, and its a different manager everyday. And they absolutely never call you back.

In fact, to my most recent complaints voiced on google reviews and to their own company, they said a generic email of 'oh we try to achieve the highest standards' and of course, never actually contact me back personally.

I think Leaders should be ashamed of the way they treat their tenets. We left the house 500x times better than we found - garden was perfect, no spots anywhere on the walls or bathroom, no junk in the rooms... and yet they still want to charge you 'a cleaning fee'

Shame on you leaders

It was very reassuring to have my enquiry not only promptly answered by Tikal Betz, but also dealt with so professionally. Tikal listened to me and allowed me to fully explain the issue, gave me clear communications options that worked during busy working hours and confirmed the action that would be taken. 10/10 for customer service.

After moving into my new apartment, there were quite a few delays in several things as getting details of utility providers, cleaning of the apartment, information about the apartment. I contacted several people and things were not moving forward.
I'm not sure why this happened.

And one day I called the Leaders property management again, and thankfully Tikal Betz answered the phone, and from there onwards, she helped me sort out almost all the issues with genuine interest. Only after her intervention I was able to relax and settle in my new apartment with some peace of mind. She answers my emails and provides detailed explanations addressing all points of concern. There was a hot water issue a few days ago and I sent here an email in the night and she answered me the next morning very quickly already having contacted the building management.

For Tikal, I would give 5 starts; I only gave 4 starts for the overall score because of the initial issues I had.

People always complain how stressful moving is but Katie made it a breeze.
