My order was cancelled with no explanation until I queried it...then it became a 'stock issue ' - not impressed

Ordered a pair of shoes that were shown as available. Monies paid.

A while later I received an e-mail stating the order had been cancelled. No reason or explanation given.

I looked on the website and noted that the shoes were no longer in stock and this is the only reason I can think of as to why my order was cancelled.

Very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

As other reviews have said, no extended Christmas returns. Most retail stores allow for this, so most people won't read the terms and conditions.

I requested a refund straight after Christmas and heard nothing back. Had to follow up with an email to tell me its 14 days returns.

Appalling customer service! If return is denied, you dont hear back!

Found exactly what I was looking for, and in the sale which was a bonus. Speedy delivery during January sales when other companies are taking ages. Will def use Legend Footwear again - and reassuring they are a local company based in London.

No extended Christmas returns policy, so anything bought as a Christmas present before 25th November cannot be returned. The majority of companies offer an extended returns at Christmas. Infact this is the only company I have come across who doesn't, so now I've got to sell the boots on Ebay or somewhere. Won't use them again.

I bought my daughter a pair of Dr Martens for Christmas. Like most people, I started my Christmas shopping early, ordered end of October. Unfortunately they did not fit her and I emailed them to request a swap for a bigger size. The return policy does not allow this. Not prepared to budge whatsoever. Very disappointing and not very Christmasy. I have now ordered a pair directly from Dr Martens.

I used Legend footwear for a Christmas gift, purchasing Dr Marten boots for my daughter. However, when she didn't like them, I attempted to return the unused, perfect-condition items, only to discover their return policy was inflexible.

Given the circumstances, I felt the response was unhelpful and rather un-Christmasy. Accepting returns on unused items is common practice, and I was surprised by the lack of accommodation. This experience has left me disappointed with an item I won’t be able to resell for the full amount so I am at a loss.

Thought this was a joke when asked to leave a review! Ordered shoes then a couple of days later received a refund and a message to say order had been cancelled no explanation. Thought I’d give the benefit of the doubt and ordered the same shoes different colour. A few days later the same happened. Order cancelled and refund issued no explanation. On the website the shoes are in stock and ready to ship so no idea what the problem is. Will not go near this company again! The reply was that they had no evidence of my orders. Why would I make this disappointing experience up. If you read others reviews you’ll see I’m by far not the only one to experience this poor customer experience. Avoid!

Quick delivery and nice shoes

From putting my order in to getting delivery of my item was really quick

NEVER buy from here. I purchased a pair of Blundstone boots less than 3 months ago (a shoe which is notorious for its durability). My shoes had very clearly been stored incorrectly before being sold to me as I wore them less than 10 times before the soles completely split in half with what was obviously dry rot. I have now been refused a refund or replacement and told this was “general wear and tear”. Over £150 spent on shoes to this company and their customer service and response to me for selling me a FAULTY and OLD product is absolutely disgusting. NEVER SHOP HERE.

Took my money saying the item was going to be shipped, only then to send an email saying that they had cancelled my order. Surely they shouldn’t have taken my money from the bank without knowing if they had the item in stock.
They did refund me but it’s not the point the item was a present.

Ordered some boots and were showing in stock online . Following day I received an email cancelling the order with no explanation.
