Had my lenses replaced at the end of March.Cant recommend Sandonia enough.Ivan had everything well organised,with everything explained thoroughly by the surgeons at the eye clinic. Totally pain free and the whole experience couldn't have gone any better.

Just had lens replacement done , the experience was fantastic from start to finish .Correspondence was very good and clear from Ivan from Sandonia which made it easier, Thank you great company

The staff were all kept me upto date we my arrangements on the run up to my procedure and when i arrived in Prague they were very reassuring to all of us

I cannot recommend Sandonia enough! Working within the Healthcare Sector myself I’m really aware of patient centred care and I can say is WOW! Professional high standards of care exceptional! The results? Amazing I’m two weeks pre op and no more glasses forever! No pain, quick and professional. We had bloods, ECG scans, g.p. and optometry visits prior to ensure suitable for surgery. All lenses used were high quality manufactured in USA. We were provided with post op antibiotics and steroid for post op care. all our results and information on surgical procedure and lenses used for g.p. in U.K. Do not even think about paying the extortionate prices in the U.K.!

I am from the U.K and have just got back from Prague.
I had trifocal lens replacement .

Ivan was my coordiantor from the very onset of my enquiries /booking/and basically on hand for any questions i had along the way.

Arrived on the Monday afternoon.
I had already been sent a schedule beforehand.
Tuesday i had to go to have my full health check,bloods ,urine sample,height,weight and a full cardiology test.
From there it was onto the eye clinic for various indepth eye tests and to also to meet my surgeon,
Dr Petr Novak.
He did some more tests and we sat and discussed my lifestyle and my final expectations.
He showed me models of the 2 different lenses and explained about both,and which ones he/we would best suit my needs.
A nurse then gives you paperwork ,instructions of how to prepare the day before/on the day and post op.
You are also given Eye drops to apply am and pm and also 2 boxes of antibiotic drops with a detailed print out of how often they should be applied.

Wednesday i attended the place next door ,which is where the surgical suite is.
3 of us in recliner chairs,had several lots of numbing drops applied to the 1st eye over a course of time(you are also given a Diazepam to relax you).The little nurse(i forget her name,spoke excellent English and was lovely).
Then into a changing room ,all clothes off,including underwear,and into paper scubs(trouser-top).
Into the next room.Petr comes to see you,more drops.
The nurse then takes you through to the surgical suite.

They cover you with a paper sheet thing including your face with just the eye visible.

Dr Petr explains everything that you will see and what he will be doing next.
He was simply the BEST.
Has the most fantastic bedside manner and has such a calming voice.
I am a total wuss with stuff like this,especially the eyes!
But i PROMISE you there really is nothing to worry about!!!
You do not feel any pain,during or after the procedure!
The lens replacement took about 10 mins or so.* although you are probably at the clinic between 2 and a half/3 hrs in total.
You have a patch put over it,which you change at bedtime and can remove in the morning.As soon as i was out ,me and my hubby went off out sighseeing and for lunch and drinks.

Thursday is a day of rest.

Back Friday for second eye.
I wasnt scared at all and was very relaxed ,as i knew what to expect.

PAYMENTS.

You have to pay the Health clinic in advance.Ivan sends you the link.

Then when you go for the eye tests you pay for that there and then.

And finally on the day of surgery you pay for that.

My whole experience was EXCELLENT from start to finish.

Everyone spoke fantastic English and everyone was kind and helpful.
Both the eye test clinic and the surgical pace were spotlessly clean!

We had a great time in Pragu,its a beautiful city,and BEST of all ,i have come back with new eyes!!

I could see better from the minute i had them done and my sight got better as the days ent on.

They are still healing as its not even been a week9for my second eye anyway0.

BUT i dont need glasses for anything!! My font on fone was the largest it could be and i still needed glasses. Now its on the smallest!!!

The team made this whole experience stress free and easier than food shopping, was just ease from start to end, i had surgery on one eye and 30 mins later I was out touring prague, and when I saw out that eye I was ready to jump on the table to get the next one done, I cant explain the feeling you get when you can see properly again everything is so sharp even colours, I cant thank the whole team enough the service was 10/10 better than uk at a fraction of the cost

Amazing experience at the Sandonia clinic in Prague would definitely recommend 100% !! Nurses, surgeons, consultants were fantastic! I’m sooo happy with my eye surgery.

Trying for days now to get a booking, got the AI response but nothing after that, if this is the before care what's the after care like, WOW

Trying to get hold of this company is very difficult, Few emails sent forms filled in and phone calls , Please can someone reply as we’d like to book 🙏

I had lens replacement surgery on 11th June and used Sandonia to book the procedure. Ivan was my contact at Sandonia and he made the whole process from start to finish so easy. Dr Petr Novak was my surgeon and he was fabulous. So professional and explained everything which helped to put me at ease.
The experience was so good that my husband has now booked to have his eyes done in November.
Anyone thinking about having this surgery should definitely do it, it is life changing after wearing glasses for many years.
