I visited beauty in Prague , OCP last week for lens replacement. The clinic is very welcoming and clean with state of the art equipment. I only have good words to say about the whole process and can honestly say I’m very happy with the results upto date .
Unfortunately because of my astigmatism I was unable to have trifocal lens .
I had monofocal Toric lenses fitted . Which give the same results for distance but may need weak reading glasses but so far I am able to read without glasses also hence why I am very pleased with my results.
The surgery itself was comfortable and painless and over within 20 minutes once in surgery and that was both eyes at once .

I had spent quite some time researching lense replacement and clinics. I chose BiP as the package they offered was very competitive and the surgeon has an excellent reputation. The whole process was so well organised and the clinic was exceptional. My organisers were Petra and Thomas who were both excellent, taxis always on time and all steps clearly explained. My surgeon Jiri Pasta was also amazing. It's early days as I'm just under a week after surgery but my vision is already exceeding my expectations. I would recommend this clinic to anyone considering lense replacement surgery and it is truly life changing.

Do not use, they put me to a surgeon who has nearly killed me and they are NOT licensed or insured , my solicitor has just informed me

I can not recommend highly enough. From my first enquiry to traveling home it was been amazing service.

Despite UK companies being willing to perform the procedure I opted to travel to BiP as from my research they was one of the best in Europe for eye surgery. Good job I did as the level of pre tests were fantastic and identified that I am not suitable for lense replacement. This was missed by the UK companies and would mean I would only be glasses free for a year or two if I had the procedure done now.

The doctor at BiP was more concerned about ensuring I understood the options and I didnt waste my money than just proceeding. I was also provided with all my results and what was discussed without any fuss.

The level of care did NOT reduce after I decided to not proceed and it remained so far above what I expected or got in the UK.

Hopefully my eye condition stabalises in the coming years and if it does I will 100% be going back to BiP to get the procedure done.

I had a successful multifocal lens replacement this week at Beauty in Prague. A big thanks to all the staff.

Airport transfer and transport to and from the clinic was always on time. Thanks Petra.
Eye examination by Adriana was first class. And no waiting time.
Surgery by Doctor Jiri Pasta (George) was pain free and the procedure was well explained.
The hole experience was stress free and with plenty of time to enjoy Prague.

My husband Eric and I both travelled to Prague for lens replacement on the 24th September 2025. We were apprehensive as going abroad for surgery was a new experience for both of us. We have honestly had a fantastic experience with Beauty in Prague - we have tried to fault the experience, but it was so good we can find absolutely nothing to complain about. Beauty in Prague delivered on everything - taxis waiting at the airport, transport to and from clinic was always on time, our two wonderful co-ordinators Denisa and Petra (who were friendly, kind and totally professional) and the clinic itself was certainly impressive. The surgery went very well and we were kept informed and reassured at every stage of the procedure. Our recovery has gone really well, with our vision improving every day - we cannot believe how quickly our sight has become so good - that in its self has been life changing for us both. This is not so much a review - but a big THANK YOU to all the staff at Beauty in Prague for making this experience a stress free and enjoyable one!!!!

Be very careful about using Beauty in Prague or Eye Centre Prague. My eyesight was not corrected and, in fact, was made worse by their lens replacement surgery. When I asked to discuss a way forward, the clinic refused to arrange a telephone or video call. They also delayed for weeks in providing my medical records after I requested them.

I am now pursuing a formal complaint with the regulator for apparent breaches of the Health Services Act, as I do not want others to go through the same experience.

I strongly recommend avoiding Beauty in Prague and Eye Centre Prague.

So upon arrival things mooved pretty quickly. We were taken straight for bloods not waiting around for those. Then we had an ecg with the clinic doctor then had a mamogram ultrasound done around 1 hour later. The lady at the desk there were 2 of them one dressed in normal clothes and one in light green nurse uniform blonde hair who did the bloods the lady in the normal clothing couldn't even crack a smile never mind a hello. But the nurse who took the bloods was lovely also the blonde lady who escorted us in the taxi for the mammogram ultra sound was lovely and nice too. The surgeon josef was lovely very reassuring laid back and professional. The doctor was nice welcoming but the nurse who put the ecg equipment on did not engage with me make eye contact or say hello. Then once upstairs you meet a nurse who then shows you to the lockers and tries to assist you to her best of ability but her English was very broken so when the pain comes later she doesn't understand reassuring trying to keep us calm though which is a good thing. After the beeast implants I expected straight off morphine like you do back home as the pain really is unbearable but they just start you on basically paracetamol through the IV drip. Which doesn't help with the pain they wouldn't offer the morphine until 8pm which was very bizarre as your paying and you expect to be kept as comfortable as possible. Then it all changed we had a nurse come on board her name was Christina she was an absaloute God send this surgery is so so lucky to have a nurse like this her level of care really was second to none it was the first nurse to introduce herself and to say bye when the shift finished she made sure we were clean drains were OK and right position where the drains were. Made sure we were propped up comfortable. Helped us to the toilet. Now hours after surgery we are promised food which is included in the price I have many friends who have been to other clinics in Prague Latvia and lithuania and 2 to 3 hrs after surgery have made it mandatory they are fed chicken vegetables alot of greens sweet potato plenty water cold fresh water and we got nothing bar stable baby biscuits The water here was served in sips even hours after no meals no hot food bar a piece of toast slice of ham and spice of cheese i dont find this very acceptable when promised a hot meal and after going through the horrific surgery greens and meat its needed for recovery now this Christina nurse served up lovely toast lovely coffee lovely tea this lady went above and beyond all expectations and made myself and my friends stay more bearable and more comfortable.
I don't agree with being put out in the mornings the next day when your body is still tender and raw I'd expect a higher level of care atleast until lunch time.
The lady in the purple scrubs I found very rude. But the other lady who was dressed in normal clothes curly hair nice too. Over all bring food with you and slip some tramadol in your bags for pain relief.

Please please don’t use this company who gives you the allocated surgeon and you trust that they pick the correct surgeons and have good surgeons but they do not. I have living the hostel horror movie for nearly two years, I have been diagnosed with

Now I am disabled and my life in tatters, I am dying and the nhs don’t seem I’m important pals have completing ignored my emails of my prediction that as my abdomen swells my right rib cage is in pain the abdomen is pushing my right diaphragm up too. They said no change, one week later Cleveland clinic private ct, I saw the picture and cried. My lung space is not much, the Cleveland clinic making a note the right hand side diaphragm was elevated

Pressure in my abdomen I cannot walk, sit , or stand , also told just to go to the chronic pain clinic but theu have told me it’s pressure pain. Morning they can do , and no move forward,

Do not use, you don’t get fed, the surgeon I had started at 8am consulting 6 people who operation, myself being the most clomplex procedure , I went to surgery at 6pm , can anyone remember was their surgery filmed !!

I had Lasik surgery elsewhere approximately 18 years ago and my eyesight was beginning to degenerate and I heard about lens replacement surgery.
I contacted BeautyInPrague regarding both my wife and myself and we completed the initial questionnaire and sent our prescriptions as requested. We were informed that we were eligible for surgery so arranged a convenient date. They arranged return transfers from the airport to our hotel, plus transport from hotel to clinic returns on all 3 required occasions as part of the booking. On arrival at the clinic, we were immediately impressed by the sheer scale of the enterprise, with brand-new facilities, immaculate consultation and test equipment, and friendly and professional staff (all of whom speak English). The process was explained in great detail and in terms understandable for non-medical people (i.e. me!)
Options for non-standard eyes (astigmatism or other) were discussed and different lens types reviewed.
The consultation process took approximately 2 hours on the Monday morning, lenses delivered from Germany the following day and surgery to both eyes carried-out on the Wednesday.
The surgery itself was painless following the application of copious amounts of anaesthetic eye drops, but felt a little uncomfortable due to pressure being applied to each eyeball during the lens replacement - p.s. do what the surgeon tells you at the time, very difficult when you are nervous!!!!!
After a short period we were taken back to our hotel to recuperate for the rest of the day. Eyesight was a bit blurry, but that started to clear during the afternoon and we were able to go out for a meal and a few drinks that evening....
We returned to the clinic for a check up on the Thursday morning and were given the all clear.
At all stages of the process we were kept informed by a dedicated coordinator of the next step, she also booked all of our transport and sent a text message identifying the taxi make, model and registration, together with arrival times for pick up from the hotel - well done to those ladies for a great job.
Finally, if you are in any doubt whether to have this procedure carried out, I would say that my eyesight has been restored to (almost) 20/20 vision and is settling-down daily - well recommended, superb job by a fantastic team of people, thank you all.
The surgery prices in the UK are very high by comparison, and we both had both eyes operated on, had a week in Prague including the hotel and flights, and spent less than having mine done here....

I just have my eye replacement lenses done through Beauty in Prague. Everything went very well from the start to the finish. Petra was my assistant + Doctor Andrea was the one who did the procedure to my eyes wonderful doctor + I could not recommend better place to go!!!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Myself and my partner had lense replacement surgery 3 days ago and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made !! A fraction of the cost of having the procedure here in the UK (8k here and 3k in Prauge) If you pay cash in Euros it works out around £2,850 with current exchange rate.
I can't praise the clinic and their staff enough - everything was flawless from consultation to surgery, very efficient. Transfers/taxis to and from the clinic and airport are all included in the price of the surgery.

I visited Prague on the 1st of December. I came to Prague for Lens Replacement surgery, with beauty in Prague. I was met at the airport and taken to my hotel. I was picked up by taxi on Monday morning and taken to the clinic, where I was met by my patient coordinator petra. I underwent a thorough eye examination in the state-of-the-art clinic. It was absolutely amazing,with friendly staff,who made you feel comfortable and relaxed. After all I am here for eye surgery. After the consultation with the doctor to discuss what lenses I will be having,I returned to the hotel,all organised by petra and each transfer was included in the price of the eye surgery. Tuesday I was given a day to myself, to go and explore Prague, so if you have never travelled to Prague, be sure to make the most of the Tuesday,as Prague is a very beautiful city. Wednesday morning i was picked up from my hotel and taken to the clinic for surgery. I was once again met by petra who put my mind at ease as I was pretty anxious to start with. You are administered a course of eye drops before surgery, approximately about 12 different types and given an anti anxiety pill,which really does help. Roughly an hour later I was taken to the operating theatre where I was met by the surgeon. He explained exactly what was involved and instantly I felt very relaxed. The surgery was absolutely pain free and a huge success. Each eye took approximately 15 minutes and I could see straight away,yet a little bit blurry. I was taken back to the hotel to rest and the only slight irritation i had ,was the feeling I had opened my eyes under water in a swimming pool and had the feeling of chlorine in your eyes,which passed after a couple of hours,and my vision was getting clearer and clearer. Thursday i was picked up and taken to the clinic for post op examination, again this was very thorough. The last stage was with the consultant who informed me that the surgery was a huge success and that I had 100% correction in both eyes with 20/20 vision. I cannot recommend this clinic enough, from the state-of-the-art premises, professional and friendly staff ,one of the best surgeons in the world and last but not least,the patient coordinators who are with you every step of the way. I would like to thank every single one of you, who have changed my life for the better,you really are incredible. Petra you are an absolute star and a credit to beauty in Prague, so a huge thank you to you ❤️

DO NOT BOOK HERE. My procedure is next week - they have cancelled and wont return my deposit. I requested the consult and procedure same day. They told me my original requested date was not available for consult so we instead agreed to a date that is coming up in a week. Theyve now messaged saying they booked me in for the day they said was full but will not return my deposit. All of this is documented - I wouldn’t be fighting this had I been the one to make the error here.

I have full documentation showing the 16.9 date as the date I accepted. They made an error and I have repeatedly and directly pointed out our communications confirming this date. Despite my clear and direct agreement for 16.9 in writing they just keep dancing around this. Just stay away, if you have to book travel this could become a complete nightmare for you.

I decided to get lens replacement at Beauty in Prague after my son had his eyes done 3 months previously,It definitely is life changing! Petra made everything so easy all staff were friendly, helpful and professional . It is one of the best decisions I have made , I would highly recommend them to anybody thinking of lens replacement they made everything run so smoothly.

around our Lens replacement surgery was fantastic, everything ran like clockwork, a really professional service. Our coordinator Petra was brilliant, we were messaged each day with taxi info and a schedule so we knew exactly what was happening, I can’t recommend enough, the clinic at the hospital was amazing and all the staff and surgeons we came into contact with were great. Within hours we could see our screens without glasses,an amazing result for us both, we have been telling anyone who will listen how great the service was and to get themselves booked in

Please don't be fooled by this company. They are all smiles...until they have your money. The surgery left me with more issues than I began with, not to mention a 5cm hiatus hernia because the aftercare was so bad. The nurses didn't speak good English and refused to give me sickness medication so I was violently sick and tore the internal sutures and pushed my stomach into my chest cavity causing the hernia. I paid a deposit so I could go back to have corrective surgery because the first one was so bad but they then decided I had to pay again and, after I refused, they kept the 'deposit' and are refusing to give it back. I now have to have the surgery all over again somewhere else. Substandard surgeons, awful aftercare and greedy company. Don't put your health in their hands, it's not worth the risk.
*Update* several years after this surgery (it was 12/10/2020) and I'm still having issues. I'm waiting for nissen fundoplication surgery for the hiatus hernia and further treatment for scarring and an epigastric hernia.

Don't do it!

Don’t use beauty in Prague, recent surgery for breast uplift and implants, had issues and the clinic now isn’t responding after asking for all surgery paperwork.
Their care is less than adequate after surgery, left with non English speaking staff when going through recovery, no help when unable to do things yourself, your belongings get locked away from you, left without phone charger to contact partner, also states online you’re allowed visitors after your surgery - this isn’t the case they don’t allow anyone in to see you even when you’re asking for help.
Left back in uk with serious medical issues and they aren’t interested. Urged them to respond to all emails and calls but not getting anywhere, happy to take peoples money but not resolve any issues.
Do not use them!

Do not touch, I went for tummy tuck and tightning in Aug 2023, one year later I have difficulty breathing due to a paralysed left diaphragm (which was the case from the offset) all the tightening has come undone, i had a small bulge just under my breath which stitches rushed, my stomach is now in my chest lifting my right diapgram too. This is worsening by the day and risking my life

He has also not tighted my public area and I am left completely deformed unable to breathe and reqiring one weeks + stay in hospital to fix thei mess, and major surgery, slicing all the way down my stomach to fix.this will not fix my diaphragm. I am left with breathing issues for life, deformed, a year of not able to work, my funds all used to look deformed, and a solicitor instructed

Both beauty in Prague and the surgeon that allocated to me gave made me suicidal only

I had decided to do a Lens Replacement Surgery a while back, but looking at prices in the UK, they were extremely expensive...making it impossible.

I started looking afield and came across Beauty In Prague. At first I sceptical as I wasn't sure about going to a different country to do the surgery.

I read plenty of reviews until I was satisfied that this was the right decision.

I can tell you, they make it very easy for you. You fell welcomed, protected and always well looked after. They speak English - Barbora and Petra - their patient coordinator was in contact with me all the time, coordinating the trip.

Their process is very organized and the treatment is quick and painless.

I would definitely recommend. Absolutely no regrets.
