We are the Leonidas Belgian Chocolates Official UK Retailer, since 2018. As a chocolate shop in Brighton, we have one of the largest selections of pralines freshly delivered weekly from the Leonidas factory in Brussels. All our Leonidas chocolates are stored in our climate-controlled environment. All boxes are hand packed at our chocolate store in Brighton and can be customised. We are located only 2 minutes walking distance from the Brighton Train Station.

Happy Wife.!!

My wife has always said about how delicious these chocolates are so I ordered her some on line.!! They came with a leaflet of "All the chocolates" they do... My wife kindly "highlighted" her favourites for next time.!! 😂 xx

First of all we email and try to call you but no answered yet!!!

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear that you feel you haven’t received your order.

We’ve checked our records, and according to Royal Mail tracking, your order placed on 13th December 2024 was successfully delivered the following day (14th December) to your address via their 24-hour tracked service — even though you originally selected a 48-hour option. We upgraded the service at no extra cost to ensure quicker delivery during the busy season.

Here is a summary of the tracking history for your reference:
• 14 Dec, 11:55 – Delivered by Lincoln DO
• 14 Dec, 07:49 – Out for delivery
• 13 Dec, 18:52–19:17 – Processed through Gatwick & Sheffield MCs

Amazing chocolates

Amazing chocolates. Ordered from Brighton as seemed to be the only place I could order from an official store. Could not find any in the north of England. More then happy with packaging and freshness of chocolates. Definitely a treat. I would defo order from this store again. Highly recommend 😁

I booked a small box on Easter

I booked a small box on Easter and it was ready immediately, less than in one hour. Also the website to purchase the products is very easy. Really a good service and a good chocolate!

Thank you for your feedback.
We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the situation regarding your order.

You placed your order on our website on the afternoon of 17th April, after our Easter dispatch cutoff time, which was clearly mentioned on our website along with the last recommended order dates for Easter deliveries. Despite this, understanding it was likely an Easter gift, we made an extra effort to prepare your order immediately for dispatch.

However, the 18th of April was Good Friday, followed by Easter weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Easter Monday on 21st April).
As delivery services do not operate over these public holidays, it was not possible for any courier company to deliver during this time — a situation that was also highlighted on our website.

On 22nd April, the first working day after the holiday, a DHL driver attempted delivery. However, you were not at home, and DHL sent you an email (proof below) to rearrange delivery:

“Hello Team
This email is regarding the delivery to XXXX.
A delivery attempt was made by our Driver but there was no one at the delivery address and no answer on the phone. Kindly call us on 0207 880 1000 and select Option 2, then Option 2 again to speak to a member of our team to re-book the re-delivery, or you can reply back on this email if you would like this to be re-delivered or returned back.
Thanks,
Kind regards”

You later contacted us by phone, and as advised, you arranged a re-delivery directly with DHL.
Your order was then successfully delivered on 24th April 17:30pm in they system information

We are working Royal Mail and DHL and every customer choose they preferred delivery option on check out

If you are not home on delivery time it’s your responsibility to rearrange your delivery day and time it’s common for everyone.

Considering this, your order was delivered in less than three working days (not counting public holidays), which is a normal and reasonable timeframe.
Given that delivery services were closed for the holidays and a first delivery attempt was made promptly after Easter, there is no valid reason for a refund!

Finally, we would like to clarify that the tracking information mentioning Arizona was simply a display error from DHL’s system nothing belong to our company website — your parcel was always in the UK and never left the country.

We take pride in doing our best for every customer, even under challenging circumstances, and we regret that you feel disappointed despite our efforts.

I had ordered some Easter Eggs and they both arrived cracked but wrapped in paper. I don’t know if this was intentional to hide the fact it was already damaged but it made the buying process very disappointing.

As we clearly mention on the product page, due to the fragile nature of some items,
“we strongly recommend collection from our Brighton store whenever possible. When collection isn’t an option, we always carefully pack and dispatch orders to ensure they leave us in perfect condition. However, Leonidas Brighton cannot take responsibility for any damage that may occur during delivery, as this is unfortunately outside of our control.”

Please also rest assured that we would never intentionally try to hide any damage — we are transparent about the fragility of these items on the product page.
We also noticed that you did not contact us directly about your order before leaving your review. We encourage all customers to reach out to us first, so we have the chance to help resolve any issues quickly and directly.

bought 100 mini Easter chocolate eggs…

bought 100 mini Easter chocolate eggs were a disappointment. Not worth the price even half price( the price we paid). Too sugary, not much flavour, too much white chocolate. Barely any praline, filing were basic not nice. It's a shame as we were looking forward to it as we love your normal chocolate.

A special gift

I bought a selection of chocolates for my friend's birthday. They are her favourite chocolates of all so I knew they would be great. It is so nice to be able to make your own selection too. Delivery was really quick by Royal Mail, so all in all a great experience!!
