Bollington Leisure Centre is my home…
Bollington Leisure Centre is my home from home! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble,and staff know me by my name. I have been a very happy full member for over 30 years and would never change gyms. Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about their work and are always willing to listen and support. A massive thank you to BLC.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. When I signed up, I was told it was cancel anytime, but when I tried to cancel they suddenly demanded 30 days’ notice and charged me anyway. Totally misleading and dishonest. Would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Whilst the membership option you were subscribed to does allow for a cancellation at any point in time, we do still require 30 days notice as detailed in the Terms & Conditions agreed to upon joining. They can be found at the link included below: https://www.lifestylefitness.co.uk/terms-and-conditions
This would mean that a final payment is owed within the 30 day window from when you cancelled, with your gym access continuing until the 30th day after your final payment.

Lack of body building equipment
There's a chest press table , an overpress table and an underarm pull-up machine. I think should be two of each. There are no scales in the gym! And I think there are three extra treadmills.

Great working out spot.
I thoroughly enjoy working out at Lifestyle fitness Avon Valley.
The equipment is sufficiently effective, all looking almost new with just the right amount of people each time on equipment, never too crowded, well when am there (6am).
All things considered a good gym.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of Lifestyle Fitness Canterbury. We are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the service you received during the refurb.
Whilst we appreciate there was some disruption to regular service during the refurb, we felt having a reduced availability of kit in a different space of the club was the most optimal strategy to ensure the gym remained open during the works.
The club refurb is now complete, and our grand reopening is today, Friday 15th August, at 3pm. We would love if you could make it down to see the changes for yourself. We are sure you will see that the disruption was worth it!

Excellent experience
Excellent experience I have had. From signing up giving me the information I needed about the gym and what is offered. Always greeted with a smile and very friendly and warming. The gym is always very clean and tidy. A relaxed feeling and atmosphere. Also the classes are very good and are easy to book. Definitely recommend to anyone who is feeling a bit nervous starting the gym never judged and everyone is friendly and approachable.

Not recommended
Limited machines in terms of variety.
Additional fee for yoga,zumba like club.
No access to swiming pool.
However,I am still a customer becuase of good proximity and less expense.

Friendly and not judgemental!
A very welcoming gym with knowledgable staff and friendly members. Although not fun when doing them, the Hyrox classes have been immense and inclusive for all ages and abilities.
